Great location

Loved the location . Comfortable bed . 2 disappointments during our stay is not a washer in dryer in the unit and the size of the unit . Misleading named a penthouse .

Terrific location, 1 minute walk to ski base/lift, hotel amenities, kitchen and good view.

Cozy and a Great Location

This was a perfect place to stay for our three days of skiing. The Sheraton property is super convenient, located at the base of the slopes for ski in / ski out. Access to the owner’s locker made it even more convenient. The Sheraton offers some great amenities as well. And the bus stop is just outside. The unit itself is super cozy and well appointed. It had everything we needed. It’s also very clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in Steamboat.

Location, Location, Location!

This condo is a perfect spot to stay if you want easy access to the mountain, the gondola and all of the restaurants at the base! We stayed for a week with our three children and found it to be a great place for us to come and go throughout the day as everyone had different skiing stamina. The kitchenette was a bonus as we could keep some groceries and make a few meals vs. paying mountain prices for every meal. We also visited the hot tubs on the property daily. We highly recommend this spot if you want to be in a perfect location at Steamboat!

Can’t beat this location!

This is our fifth year skiing Steamboat and first time using VRBO. This unit is great for a family of 4 but no more. It is really clean and above all else has an outstanding location and a very attentive owner. Bring shampoo and soap but everything else there for your stay. It does get really warm in Upstairs bedroom but there is a window to crack and cool it down. Overall, great condo if you value convenience to the mountain.

Perfect Location and Great Condo

We had a great stay at Bill's condo. It's on the 7th floor and about 10 feet from the elevator, which is perfect. There is a security door in between the elevator and the hallway to the condos, so you never heard people or the elevator doors dinging or anything. I was constantly carrying stuff up and down (my husband was running in the Run Rabbit Run race so I was coming and going with armloads of stuff frequently). Then the elevator takes you right to the parking garage, so that was super convenient also. It's also convenient that one key fob gets you in the parking garage, the security door to the condo hallway, and the condo front door. The bed was super comfortable and we had plenty of room for all my husband's running stuff and our luggage. The view from the living room was great and I liked just looking at all the beautiful houses on the hillside. I can imagine how nice it is in the winter. When you wanted to venture out to the ski village, you just go down the elevator and it's all right there. Lots of shops and specialty stores and a coffee shop and a general store that has a little bit of everything. If you have to get groceries, there's a Von's and a Walgreens about 7 minutes down the road, and then tons of cute little shops and cafes and bars in downtown Steamboat. There's also a little coffee cafe in the lobby of the hotel, which was convenient. I would definitely recommend staying at this condo, especially if you plan on running in Run Rabbit Run. The race briefing, start line and finish line were literally right down stairs and it was nice not to have to drive and park to get to the start of a 100 mile race. Then you are able to take the gondola up to the top of the mountain and watch the runners "run" up the hill to the top near the gondola. It was really pretty up at the top and you can go hiking or mountain biking right from there. Even if you aren't in the race, it's a great home base to do lots of things. Also, Bill was very responsive to our questions and checking in and out was easy. It wasn't that difficult to pick up the keys from the lock box or put them back. You only did it right when you arrived and left, so no big deal at all. Overall, it was a great trip and a great condo. Thanks Bill!

It was okay. The place was pretty run down and it is not a pent house. This is a small 1 bedroom 1.5 bath that needs remodeling. Location was great and owner was responsive

Great quiet location

This place was perfect for us - great views, very clean and close to everything, including downtown (about 4 min. drive), great hikes and dining.

Excellent location!

Location of unit cannot be beat! Our check in process got off to a bit of a rocky start but Bill was super quick to respond and handle any issues. Rest of the trip was smooth sailing. The space fit my family of four perfectly and location to the mountain is perfect. The ski locker that comes with the unit was cherry on top! Would definitely stay there again!

Cozy, Clean, Convenient

Perfect for a couple or a family with one or two small kids. A little tight for a family with teenagers. Very conveniently located to the main gondola. Nice games rooms with billiards table, table tennis, and a game console. Hot Tubs. Starbucks Outlet and convenience store. Bar/Restaurant downstairs but a reservation is super important well in advance of your trip. Upstairs bar too.

Cute Place At Steamboat Ski Resort

This was the first time to Steamboat. This unit is right at the bottom of the resort hill. The Sheraton property overall is very nice. Great place to eat and they have a rooftop hot tub over looking the mountain. The unit my family and I stayed in, 4 total, was quaint and cute. It has a great 70's Lake Tahoe vibe to it along with the bathrooms being redone. Super clean place and wonderful to stay in. Great view of some big trees with Christmas lights on them. Communication with the owner was great and all the instructions were very detailed. Would love to stay here again.

Nice place & location but the listing made it appear to have a washer & dryer in the condo, which it did not. We learned there is a free washer & dryer on the 4th floor.

Steamboat 2021

Great place and location! Nice pool, nice condo, free onsite parking, etc. Fun activity area right behind the hotel, (put put, “alpine slide” roller coaster ride and chair lift. Great communication with the owner- quick to respond to questions. Only complaints are lack of pillow cases- plenty of other sheets and blankets though. And, could add coffee creamers being that there’s more coffee than anyone could ever need which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place! One side note, make sure to read check-in instructions. We assumed keys would be at front desk being that the condo is essentially in a hotel, but that wasn’t the case. Our mistake though- not the owners.

Nothing short of phenomenal

The property is exactly as advertised, dead center on the base at Gondola Square. The condo is clean, well stocked with dishes and pots/pans and all needed linens. Tide pods and dryer sheets were there to use as well. Bill is/was nothing short of great in promptly responding to al questions no matter what time of day he was asked. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

My family had a great time in steamboat. The condo had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds are super comfortable, condo was very clean, no complaints. The location is spectacular, literally walk out of the basement level and the lifts are directly in front of you about 30 yards. Great amenities as well, several hot tubs, heated pool, and multiple bars/restaurants.

Steamboat Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed this trip! Truly a ski in/ski out. The owner Bill was amazing. I reached out to him a couple of times before our trip, each time he returned my calls immediately. The condo was perfect for myself and my husband. It is big enough to fit several additional people. The amenities are top notch. We enjoyed the ease of putting our skis and boots in the ski locker and just walking down the hall and out the door to the Gondola! We enjoyed the restaurants on site. Torch and Timbers was perfect for happy hour and good food! This really was a wonderful stay!

Great location

Great location, central to many activities. We had lots of fun. Some of the amenities were restricted, but that was due to Covid restrictions the Sheraton had in place. My kids want this to be a yearly vacation stay.

Close to the slopes

Great little place for 3 or 4 guests, this one bedroom condo is very convenient to the ski mountain. Easy parking, great pool.
