Fantastic family getaway

This is our second time visiting the Marriott Surf Club. The resort is absolutely impressive. We love going back and forth between the beach and the pool. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic time at the Aruba Surf Club!

We had a fanstastic time at the Marriott Aruba Surf Club! The Lazy River and lounging at the cabanas was super relaxing, and we had easy access to water sports activities, Superfoods for groceries, and great restaurants. Our arrangements with Concierge were seamless.

Family vacation

Property was awesome - great views from balcony. Easy walking to shopping and restaurants. Convenient pickup spot for tours and activities. We used the gym quite a bit - not crowded and nice size. Owner responsive and helpful with questions.

Love Aruba and Marriott

Well appointed, clean, huge living quarters, wonderful resort complex. Kids loved, adults loved. Love all Aruba Marriott amenities. Would definitely return, as we usually do with Aruba Marriotts. But really liked having living quarters in the Surf Club as opposed to the regular hotel room. But like that you can utilize the Stellaris. We will be back!

Beautiful condo on Palm Beach

The condo was perfect for our needs with one larger area with a living room and bedroom with king sized bed, giant tub and en-suite bathroom and a full kitchen then an adjoining room with a queen bed, pull out full sized couch and second en-suite bathroom. Having an extra “bathroom” sink outside of the actual bathroom on both sides was very helpful to our busy family of 5. The overall Marriott facility was well maintained and the staff were super friendly. The kids loved the lazy river and the two big pools. The only downside was going on February was quite crowded so hard to get pool or beach chairs unless you tagged them at like 7:30am. But overall this is a lovely place that we would recommend for family travelers.

Beautiful well maintained property.

We had a great time in Aruba and overall liked the surf club. Loved the beach and the walking distance restaurants that are on the beach. The only thing things we didn't like was that we like ocean front rooms and the ocean view condo we had we only had a view of the ocean from the balcony. Ocean front is harder to find in Aruba than other countries. Also, this property is crowded. People line up at 5:00 in the m orning to get chairs and the grass roofed cabanas on the beach. No way were we doing that, we paid a guy $40 a day to rent a nice big umbrella and chairs each day that he puts in the front row.

Amazing Family Vacation

Surf Club is a great place for families with young children and young adults. We had a 3 bedroom villa for a family of 4 -girls are 18 and 14 - with older adults and it was perfect for all ages. The villa is HUGE and had anything you could need to cook and clean for a week. Property, pools, beach and rooms are well maintained. Its a timeshare so there isn't daily maid service unless you pay but if you need anything its either already in the unit or a phone call away. Units have microwave, TV in every room, coffee makers, washer & dryer, dishwasher and full size appliances. Lazy river was so much fun day and night and the beach and pool are beautiful. We loved that we could walk to different happy hours and dining locations and they are on the beach or over the water, what else could you ask for! Aruba is so safe and Love it so much that we are already looking at dates for our return!

First time visit to Aruba

Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Surf Club. The reservation process was a little weird at first in that we were first declined our dates. The only other little hiccup was the check-in process, probably a COVID-thing. It took forever with only one person at the secondary check-in location and two people having issues in front of us. Then 45 minutes later when we were finally checked in, we turned around to see a line of about 20 waiting for the elevator, bad timing. The location was great, walking distance to town, a little less than a mile, not to mention great restaurants there and on the pier leading up to it, or the other Marriott Hotels nearby. The location beachside seemed to be pretty high traffic with a similar group 'hanging' out by the outdoor restaurant and large screen TV. Was okay by me and the other adults, not sure I'd want to leave our 12 or 16 year old by themselves in the area. Excursions were great. The staff onsite were incredibly friendly. We would return again. We might consider a slight upgrade to the Ocean Club.

I'm distressed to learn that although the check in time is 4:00, your villa was not ready until 6:00. It is true that with such a large property, there will be many guests checking in simultaneously. The front desk and housekeeping staff at Marriott Aruba Surf Club does an excellent job of having villas prepared for arrival and quite often will have villas available early, but on this occasion, it seems that they fell short. I am hoping that they offered some sort of concession like a cocktail around the pool while you waited. Everything was great but when it says ocean side in the description you expect to be on the ocean side, or at least a view of the pool. Anything but a parking lot or the side of another hotel.

Beautiful hotel and location

My family and I were so impressed by this hotel and the accommodations. It was perfect for a family of 5. We really enjoyed the amenities of the Marriott and the location. Amazing food on the property and nearby. We definitely will be back.

Amazing resort with the most friendly staff!

We had the best vacation at The Marriott Surd Club! The resort is gorgeous. We enjoyed the pools and being on the beach. Nearby restaurants were great and loved that we could walk to everything! The staff is amazing and extremely friendly. Would return to Aruba and stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Vacation at the Surf Club!

First time in Aruba and so glad we chose Surf Club to experience all Aruba has to offer! I would never suggest an All Inclusive on an island with great variety such as Aruba. Our two bed two bath unit had its own kitchen but we mostly just ate breakfast there. Too many fun options on the beach and strip, and by the pool! The pool at Surf Club was at capacity pretty early daily due to the March break, so we opted for the beach anyway. Huts are between 10-15 dollars daily but you need shade on the beach so it's worth it! There's plenty to do here and it's nice to have access to the other Marriott properties, which didn't seem as congested. Bring your own Tide pods as they only provide a starter pack. Limited cleaning service but it worked as we weren't ever in the room. we will definitely be back!
