Thank you Lisa for the 5 Star Review. We cannot comment enough about the perfect location The Picayune Building is to all of the downtown New Orleans sights & sounds, attractions, events, venues, fun and FOOD there is within just a few blocks. Bonus for you to be here and only 3 blocks away from enjoying one of our world famous parades, not during Mardi Gras, Krewe of Boo! Halloween parade! It really is the locals' favorite! Thank you for the special shout out to our VacayNOLA team; Barbara for her efficiently detailed information about the condo and special options she has for selected guests, to Candace, the Housekeeping Supervisor that makes sure you are comfortable in a clean condo during your stay, and the fantastic design team for all those little details that explain how important The Picayune Building was, as the 1850 - 1969 home of the Daily Picayune Newspaper which morphed into the Times-Picayune Newspaper, still in print today. Once you realize the newspaper building was in the heart of the city, every other attraction, adventure, and restaurants all in walking distance, places you right where you need to be; close to streetcars, to venture out to other areas of the city, ferry across the River, strolling through Jackson Square then over to Cafe Du Monde for coffee & beignets or those haunted walking tours, Jazz clubs, everything you could want in an 8 block walk. Let us know when you are ready to come back and VacayNOLA!

Thank you Thomas for the 5 Star Review of Comics, the themed condo based on sections of the Times - Picayune Newspaper, that was originally in this 1850's building. Thank you Debbie for the kind words. We have enjoyed hosting you for a couple of stays now. Look forward to your next visit. So glad you took us up on the grocery delivery service. Although New Orleans has some of the best foods on earth, sometimes you just want a few snacks, fruits, beverages or your favorite coffee creamer to add into the coffee packets we leave for you. Until your next time to stay, Cheers!

Thank you Ryan for the 5 Star Review. We cannot express enough what a perfect location The Picayune Building is to all of the fun and food downtown New Orleans has to offer. contact us before making those future reservation to get the most current Return Guest Discount promo code so you can VacayNOLA!

Four top compliments that everyone wants to know; clean, comfortable, equipped and would return. When you are ready to make another visit to New Orleans, give us a call. Thank you Susan for the 5 Star Review. We are true and honest with our listings, so it is good to hear that you found us as advertised. Not sure if you liked the dark bedroom to sleep better or not. The bedroom is interior to the building, so it should have also cut down on the outside "city noise" as well. We thought it was thoughtful to include the washer and dryers, including a few Tide pods and fabric softener sheets too, because we know a lot of our world famous, scrumptious foods are cream / gravy / drippy goodness and why take those food stains home with you? Our detailed and OCD housekeeping krewes are the backbone of our industry, and we know they apericiate and earn every compliment written about their hard work to keep this 175 year old building in great shape and each condo immaculate for each guests. I'd say by now most of the Mardi Gras glitter is gone, just in time for JazzFest! Would love to host you again, contact us before making those future reservations to get the current Return Guest Discount promo code so your family can VacayNOLA!

Thank you Ed for the 5 Star Review. We are so glad that you had an enjoyable time in New Orleans. Nothing like Easter in the Big Easy. Give us a call before making your next reservation to get the return guest discount promo code. VacayNOLA

Thank you Neil for the 5 Star Review. We actually had a lot of fun with the décor and "themes" of each condo, based off sections of The Times - Picayune Newspaper, the original home of the newspaper in this building. Yes, those are original prints in this condo and all of the other condos VacayNOLA manages. With this condo being "Comics" we had to keep it fun and whimsical, yet modern and mostly comfortable. We would love to have you stay with us again, in this one bedroom / 1 bath, or should you bring back friends, we also have 2 bedroom / 2 bath condos even 3 bedroom / 3 bath condos, that are two story and have plenty of space for your group of 6 to spread out. Before yo make those future reservations, contact us to get the most current Return Guest Discount promo code so you can VacayNOLA again!

Thank you Carolyn for the 5 Star Review of "Comics" themed condo within The Picayune Building, the original home of the "Times - Picayune Newspaper from the 1880's. It IS the perfect location to all downtown New Orleans has to offer. We enjoyed hosting you. when you are ready to make a return visit, contact us prior to making your future reservations, we offer Return Guests Discounts. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Timothy for the 5 Star Review. Glad to hear you had a great time in New Orleans. We would love to host you again in this one bedroom / 1 bath or bring a few friends and try one of our 2 bedrooms / 2 bath or three bedrooms / 3 bath condos also in The Picayune Building, each having a different "theme" based on sections of the "Times - Picayune Newspaper", the original occupant of this 1880's built building. See you again, soon, VacayNOLA!

Thank you Katherine for the 5 Star Review. Those little extras of bottles of water and Gatorade in the fridge, a few extra trash bags, dishwasher tablets, sponge and dish soap, Tide pods and fabric softener sheets ( we know our scrumptious foods can drip on your clothes, no need to take home food stains, just those memories ) French Market Coffee packets, to the hairdryer, bath soaps, shampoos and lotions, we want you to feel at home. Down here, we call that Southern Hospitality "lagniappe". Sounds like Barbara gave you the information overload of things to do, go, see and eat. She wants you to "be a local" when here. And the location, well, once here and you discover that there are other wonderful areas of downtown, and YES! far enough away from the 24/7 French Quarter chaos. We would love to host you again. Contact Barbara before making your future reservations to get the current Return Guest Discount promo code to VacayNOLA!

Thank you Alexa for the 5 Star Review. This IS a great location for all of the attractions, food, music, food, shopping and did we mention all of our awesome choices for flavorful food? You can literally walk to anywhere in about 15 - 20 minutes for food, music, attractions and all our cultures and traditions. Since the Picayune Building is in the Central Business District and not within the boundary of the French Quarter, you do get a quieter neighborhood but with the walkability to all those things to do, go, see and eat. We would love to host you again. Contact us prior to making your future reservations to get your Return Guest Discount promo code. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Kristy and friends for the 5 Star Review. We cannot express what a perfect location The Picayune Building is to all that downtown New Orleans has to offer. We have the best housekeeping krewes around and they thank you for the mention of all the hard work they do to keep this historic building in tip top shape. VacayNOLA !

Thank you Kim for the 5 Star Review. We appreciate all your warm and kind words. The only thing you forgot was what a perfect location The Picayune Building is to all the downtown attractions, so very walkable to all there is to do, see and go in New Orleans. I know it makes the housekeeping krewes so happy to hear that you give them a shout out for all the hard work they do after each departure clean and for pre-arrival inspections. When it's time to come back for another helping of our awesome, flavorful and unique foods, give us a call to get our most current Return Guest Discount so you can VacayNOLA!

Thank you Jonathan for your 5 Star Review. Whatever you are looking to do, see, eat in New Orleans, this is the most centralized location for all parts of the City. We appreciate your referrals to us as well. You stayed in a one bedroom / 1 bath, so maybe on your next visit you bring along friends and stay in any of our two bedroom / 2 bath condos, very spacious, or our 3 bedroom / 3 bath condos sleep 6 guests comfortable in beds for a fun filled getaway. Before you make those next reservations, give us a call to get the current Return Guest Discount Promo Code. VacayNOLA!

Thanks Annette for letting us know you had a great stay. We know how hot and humid it gets in the "Crescent City" below sea level, with swampy, stagnant air. It's a good feeling to get in the condo, and find a few bottles of cold water or Gatorade waiting for you. Ahaa. Give us a call when you are ready to make your return visit. We offer discounts to repeat guest. VacayNOLA

Thank you Delonda and hubby for the 5 Star Review. Those little getaways seems to be the best, ever! So excited that you took advantage of our new grocery delivery conciergerie service. It seems to be a big plus to all our guests, here for football games or family get togethers, even those attending work conferences. The "Comics" themed condo is a fun and whimsical refreshing condo, although a one bedroom / 1 bath with a balcony, it is anything but a small place all cramped and so much larger than a cramped hotel room. When you and hubby want to come back for another little getaway, contact us before making those future reservations to get the most current Return Guest Discount promo code so you can VacayNOLA again.

Thank you Nicole for the 5* Review. We are elated you liked staying in "Comics". Just cannot express to everyone it IS the perfect location to stay while in New Orleans. I'll make sure to pass along your accolades to our detail orientated (almost OCD ), Housekeeping Staff. Contact us back if your travels bring you back this way to New Orleans, we do offer discounts to returning guests. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Sherronnie for the 5 Star Review. We would love to host you again for any of the wonderful fairs, festivals and events that take place in New Orleans, year round, Mardi Gras is now crossed off your Bucket List! But do come back for any of the activities like French Quarter Fest, Essence Fest, Southern Decadence, Football game, Halloween or the Holidays. We also have larger condos, two bedroom / 2 bath and three bedroom / 3 condos should you decide to bring friends or family with you on your next visit. We offer discounts to returning guest. Contact Barbara to get that most current Return Guest Discount Code. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Leslie for the 5 Star Review, despite the noisy neighbors and that trash pick up from the alley. At least it's not like int he French Quarter, where trash pick up starts about 3 AM, along with the myriad of other delivery and service trucks with those back up alarm bells. At least they don't start until about 7 AM here. Because the alley is so narrow, they do have to push all the dumpsters and cans from the alley to the next side street. We do hate that that woke you up, I guess we are used to that "city noise" . Ear plugs might help some, but at least the bedroom is dark for sleeping in a little longer. It really is a great location!

Thank you Jake for the 5 Star review. We appreciate your lagniappes' about The Picayune Building and the "Comics" themed condo. You get it! Having lived here, you know that feets are the best mode of transportation around and the location, well it is THE BEST! You are right, who needs to worry about loosing a key or pulling out your wallet to get a card key out, to get in. We would love to host you again. Give us a call before making your next reservation to get your Return Guest Discount Promo Code. VacayNOLA!
