Thank you Gerhard for the accolades.

Thank you Hannah for the 5 Star Review of the Investigative Reporting themed condo in the historic circa 1850 newspaper building, The Picayune. We cannot express enough how centralized this location is to all of the downtown action, attractions, and events nearby. Whether you are here for a convention / work or sheer fun times, this location is walkable to most of our restaurants; fine dining, iconic or those Mom & Pop places, that may seem like hole in the wall spots, that have some of the BEST foods around! We would love to host you again.

Thank you Pamela for the kind words. Although the building is almost 175 years old, it is steeped in classic New Orleans charm and architecture. Good thing modern conveniences like an elevator and high quality mattress made the comfort level an ease.

Thanks Kari for the 5 Star Review. We would absolutely love to host your family next time, all of them. Contact us before making future visits to discuss any of the two bedroom / 2 bath or three bedroom / 3 bath, two story condos to make more lifelong family memories. And to sweeten the deal, you will get the current Return Guest Discount promo code on future reservations. The location cannot be beat, no matter what you are here to do; Superdome, French Quarter, Smoothie King Center Arena, Morial Convention Center, Saengar Theatre, Harrah's Casino, WWII Museum, Jackson Square & St. Louis Cathedral, less than a mile walk to any of these, and pass by some of the best places to eat, iconic, hole in the wall, world famous or greasy spoon Mom & Pop shops, we have it all!

Thanks Brian! We are glad you felt at home and see that we offer what we say we do. As for the location, we cannot express enough on how this is the perfect location to all that downtown New Orleans has to do, see visit and EAT! Yes, please, make sure you contact us before making your future reservations, to get the current Return Guest Discount Promo Code on this one bedroom / 1 bath or any of our additional condos in this building, from the two bedroom / 2 bath, that have a balcony or bring a few friends and enjoy the two story, three bedroom / 3 bath condos. Glad to be your home away from home!

Thanks Lisa for the 5 Star Review of Investigative Reporting, one of our 10 condos in The Picayune Building, all themed reflecting the original building occupant, The Daily Picayune Newspaper, later to become the Times-Picayune, still in print today. When you think about the location of the building, it had to be in the center of downtown New Orleans so the journalist could get back with all the latest news stories and scoops for print to get it out fast so the newsies could go sell the paper on the streets. We cannot express enough what the perfect location it is! We hope you will come back. contact us before making your next New Orleans vacation, to get the current Return Guest Discount Promotion Code so you can VacayNOLA!

Thank you Ivan for the 5 Star Review. Although JazzFest is an outdoor event, seems like every year we end up having mudfest as an added attraction. So glad you had a wonderful time in our beloved city and were comfortable back at the condo when it weather was too bad to be out and about. We would love to host you again, for JazzFest next year or any other time you want to come back and visit any of those places you may have missed. Contact us before making those future reservations to get the current Return Guest Discount promo code.

Thank you Ken and family for your time to rate and review VacayNOLA. We are sad that we didn't get the full 10/10 or 5 Stars. that's ok, we will take your input and use it as a learning lesson on how we can improve. Again, apologies for the door lock malfunction upon your arrival, but so glad we were able to get you in a few minutes later. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you Laura for the 5 Star Review of The Picayune Building and the themed condo of Investigative Reporting. We had a fun time working with the decorators on each of the 10 themed condos in this building, all based off of the sections of the Daily Picayune Newspaper. This 1850's built building was the original home of that newspaper, later to become the Times-Picayune Newspaper, still in existence today, a few blocks away, in a larger building. We offer discounts to returning guests, so reach out before making your future reservations to get the most current Return Guest Discount promo code. There are 9 other condos you need to check out the vibe in, and continue to explore our beloved city, the next time you VacayNOLA

Thank you Sidonie for the 5 Star Rating. I'm not sure we could have mentioned much more here. Yes, The Picayune Building is centrally located because it was The Daily Picayune Newspaper home, built circa 1850. Over the years the building housed the merger of the Times-Picayune Newspaper, still in print today, but moved to another office location on St. Charles Ave. around 1970. With how close all these restaurants are, iconic, formal or casual, no way to not satisfy your cravings. We would love to host you again. Contact us before making future reservations to get the current Return Guest Discount promo code.

Thank you Erin for the 5 Star Review of Investigative Reporting, The Picayune Building and our VacayNOLA team. Although we had a questionable start, so glad that we could get that rumple ironed out for you so quickly, Note to Self, don't change out batteries of the door locks, using Daylight Saving Time as the reminder, the day of arrival, do that after the guest has departed. Thanks for your understanding. So glad you had a wonderful time in New Orleans. Hope to host you again.

Thank you David for the 5 Star Review. Happy to hear you thought the location was excellent, the condo was spacious and nicely decorated. Safety is important when in a different city, so that was comforting to hear. Those are Memory Foam mattresses, so when in a two bedroom / 2 bath, one of the beds is firmer than the other one, as we try to offer that variety of comfort. Guess your last line said it all, Zero Complaints! We would love to host you again, contact Barbara before making those future reservations to get the current Return Guest Discount promo code to VacayNOLA!

Thank you Susan for the 5 Star Review of "Investigative Reporting" in The Picayune Building, in downtown New Orleans. With this being the original 1850's built building for the Daily Picayune Newspaper, later to become the Times-Picayune Newspaper until 1969, it all comes together with the centralized location and the framed pages of the historic newspapers on the walls. Each of our condos in the building has a different "themed" decor and framed pages of the newspapers, over the 175 years in the building, relating to the themed named section of the newspaper. We want you to enjoy your time in our beloved city, want you to feel like a "local" with the tips, suggestions and tidbits of our life, traditions and cultures here, sent to you prior to your check in, so you can plan activities of the touristy things and some of the hidden treasures we have here that only the locals know about. We would love to host you again when you come back to VacayNOLA!

Although you were here for a work conference, we hope you were able to get out, see the sights, learn some of our history and culture, and obviously, enjoy all the flavorful foods that abound here. It was unfortunate that the wall mount TV went out during your stay, however, the owner had a new one delivered and installed the afternoon of your departure date. Give us a call if you would like to come back for another fun, no work visit to discover any of those missed items on your exploring agenda of New Orleans. We offer Return Guest Discounts for repeat guest, when you use our promo code. VacayNOLA!

Thank you Ben for the 5 Star review. Although your arrival was bumpy from the strong and sever thunderstorms we are elated that you had a great stay at The Picayune Building. It really is the best location to get around to everything that downtown New Orleans has to offer. Being here for the first weekend of rolling Mardi Gras parades ( the tamer weekend ) is always a bonus to see how we throw the largest FREE street party in the world! It's not too soon to make your future reservations for Mardi Gras 2024. It's really early, 2/2 - 2/13/2024. Book now for the best condos available to VacayNOLA in.

Thank you Marian for the 5 Star Review and thank you for being a repeat guest to VacayNOLA. We cannot express what a perfect location The Picayune Building is to all attractions, and amazing foods there are in downtown New Orleans. Short walk up to Canal to catch one of the JazzFest shuttles and certainly not a long walk back to the condo after a full day of Festing! Look forward to hosting you again next year. VacayNOLA

Thank you Melissa for the 5 Star Review of The Picayune Building and the VacayNOLA Staff. We cannot express enough what a perfect location it is; so centralized to all of the attractions, activities and events in downtown New Orleans and everything surrounding Superbowl LIX. We were excited that we were able to add in another night for your stay dates, so you could continue to work while here. Thank you Joseph for the spot on 5 Star Review of Investigative Reporting, in The PIcayune Building. When you understand it was the original home of the Times-Picayune Newspaper, it all makes sense for the location; the journalist had to be near, walkable or a streetcar ride away from getting the scoop and then coming back to have it typeset and printed. We do try to make it as comfy as possible, as your home away from home, with the laundry detergent, bottled waters & Gatorade, French Market Coffee and a few more lagniappe's to make your trip easy peasy. Look forward to another visit from you soon. contact us to get the most current Return Guest Discount promo code, so you can VacayNOLA!
