Modelleret efter de gamle guld- og sølvminer i området er vores 3.300 kvadratmeter, 4 soveværelser, 3. 5 bad, brugerdefinerede hjem beliggende over Little Cascade creek på 2 hektar.

Kun 2 miles fra Purgatory Ski Resort og 24 miles fra det historiske centrum Durango, men 'Creek House' tilbyder privatliv og afsondrethed og masser af faciliteter - privat boblebad, poolbord, udendørs ildsted, 3 dæk med fantastisk udsigt, 2 separate levende rum, hver direkte tv-kanal, Weber Gas grill, WIFI og selvfølgelig de afslappende lyde i bæk, som bringer tilbage gæster år efter år.

Det luksuriøse hjem er indrettet med rustikke møbler af høj kvalitet, historisk minedrift og vestlige billeder og har fladskærms-tv i stueetagen (60 ') og 2. stue (42') og to af soveværelserne (42 ').

Derudover er der et børne legerum samt aa høj stol, trappe porte, pakke / play krybbe, plastik skåle, børn bøger, legetøj og dvd'er samt udtag beskyttere i hele huset, hvilket gør det praktisk og sikkert, når du rejser med små børn .

The only slight drawback is the terrain of the property. We had our 4 small grandchildren with us and the steep driveway and surrounding area was a little much for them to ride their bikes etc. In spite of that we had a great time in the area. Wonderful home to spend our annual family vacation.

Fabulous Family Vacation!

Our family of 10 recently stayed in this beautiful home as we visited the area for a week. Everything about our stay was wonderful, from the clear and always-immediate communication with the home's owner to Creekside's many amenities. We enjoyed all that the house had to offer and had to drag ourselves away after a too-short stay. Can't say enough great things about this serene and lovely home and would return again in a heartbeat.

Peace of the mountains

This place was just spectacular! It was more house then we needed, but this would be great for multiple families to enjoy as well. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck over looking the creek and the mountainous backdrop and it was so quiet except for wildlife and a mountain breeze. At night the hot tub was great and with all the lights off at the house, the stars lit up the sky. It is close to Durango, Silverton and everywhere in between. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much Keith.

Great location and beautiful property

The house was great and had all the items we needed while we were there. It was a short drive to the ski slopes. The beds were comfy. We cooked most of the time while we were there and we liked how they had all the cooking utensils we needed and that they had condiments like salt and pepper to use for our meals. We enjoyed lighting the wood burning fireplace and hanging out after skiing. The only thing we didn't like was the hot tub was a little dirty and had debris floating around. The owner was very easy to communicate with and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

This Cabin is amazing, 4-story, two Balconies, Views, Clean, Great Kitchen with lots of supplies. Great Playing Pool and Enjoying the Hot Tub with Views. One of the best Cabins and stays we have had. Would recommend booking this Cabin for large Families and Fun. Will definitely stay here again.

Creek House with beautiful valley experience

Beautiful location and house with great amenities!

The house is only minutes away from Purgatory ski slopes, and the views are stunningly beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. We loved using the sauna, the hot tub, firepit, fireplaces and pool table. The kitchen was well-appointed and had some of the basics in the pantry (S&P, EVOO, spices, etc...). The large dining table worked well and allowed us to eat all together (6 adults and 5 teens/kids). All 3 of our cars were AWD or 4WD, but when the snow/ice got bad, only the car with chains could make it in/out of the driveway. The road to the house is VERY slow going in the snow, so even though Purgatory is super close, it can take 15 minutes to get down the road. Overall - Great house for a large group!

Clean, Comfortable, Pretty

Reviewer Comments: We had 9 people in the house for Thanksgiving week — it comfortably slept all of us and the kitchen was equipped well enough to let us cook Thanksgiving dinner. We were very happy that the rental folks recommended 4x4s for our stay — the road leading back to the house was very icy in November, and the steep driveway would've been impossible without the all-wheel-drive rentals. Only real complaint was that the internet was uselessly slow; we all had a bit of work to get done and had to do it in Durango or with hotspots from our phones. Otherwise, a great spot to vacation from — we drove easily to the narrow-gauge Durango rail station, to Mesa Verde, and (slightly less easily) to Moab to play in Jeeps.

Fantastic place with caveats

"The Creek House ranks among the most expansive accommodations I've found in the area.Pros: - Very clean - Sauna - Stunning views of the creek, surrounding trees, and wildlife - Clean hot-tub - Great kitchen layout - Well set up areas for socializingCons: - The driveway has significant design flaws, particularly problematic during winter months with recent snowfall. The host's warnings about chains and AWD are not a suggestion; they're a necessity. Be prepared to shovel and salt during your stay. - There are six flights of stairs in this home, which may be challenging for some guests. - The second-floor bathroom shower is very drafty, and the half-shower swing door leaves something to be desired. Additionally, the shower head has been mounted unusually high (about 10 feet up). One of my fellow guests found this shower to be unusable. - While the kitchen is well-stocked with countertop appliances, additional small kitchen hand tools would be appreciated.Overall, our group enjoyed this location, and we would likely stay again.Personal observation: The choice of bathroom sink handles may be perceived as fun by some, but I found them to be kitschy and cheap."

Beautiful Home!

It is at least 35 min from Durango so be prepared to be on the road a lot if you aren’t into cooking on vacation. I had read the reviews from last October so I knew there might be a fly problem and there definitely was. The property manager was very helpful though and brought fly swatters and sticky pads. Apparently the flies are bad from Oct-November. They appear in the afternoon on the windows when the sun is out and disappear when the sun goes down. Thankfully they stay around the windows.I was a bit surprised that we were expected to start a load of towels before we left as well as start the dishwasher and clean out the refrigerator. Trash has to be hauled to the main road. All in all we enjoyed this property and all it has to offer.
