Great stay. Alicia was a prompt commentator. Flat is in a great location and easily accessible to the train (walkable) or airport (tram). Everything was clean and in great condition. I’d have no problem recommending the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Edinburgh.

Loved this property, except for lots of very loud noise from business above late into the night!!!! Some sound deadening material on the ceilings would be quite helpful!

This flat had many many positives! It was convenient to everything, it was clean, three full bathrooms (we had issues with this in other rentals), a responsive owner, and an actual clothes dryer.I just wish I had known this flat was underneath a bar that stays open until 11:30 pm and opens again the next morning around 7 am. This flat is not the right fit for someone who wants to turn in early or sleep in the next morning. Overall, this flat was lovely.

A fantastic find and great base for exploring Edinburgh. Close to main sights, good local restaurants and cafes, and nearby tram stop. The sleeping arrangements fitted our group perfectly and was a really luxury that each bedroom got its own bathroom. Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and amenities (3 hairdryers!) - would definitely recommend and use again. Alicia was really helpful and prompt at replying to messages. Check in information was really clear. Many thanks!

We really enjoyed our stay at the New Town Broughton property. As advertised, this is a four room apartment with 3 full bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and then a well-equipped kitchen/sitting room. It’s a short walk to Waverley train station and a reasonable walk, not even a mile, to attractions on the Royal Mile. Directions to the apartment were easy to follow and the host promptly answered any questions we had. Thank you!

Last minute booking

Booked at the last min and Alicia was very responsive to all of our questions. Location was great with plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy walking to all our needs, including a small grocery store and coffee shop.

Great location, that’s the good news.The listing stated that the master bedroom had a king bed. In reality it was a full size bed, smaller than a queen. For me (5’10”) and my wife (5’3”) it was a very uncomfortable squeeze.Most significantly the apartment is directly under a restaurant that plays very loud music well into the night….you cannot sleep until the restaurant closes, and you’ll be up early every morning when they come in to clean.Alicia was great and very easy to communicate with.

Lovely host. Great location in one of Edinburgh's best streets. The property was noisy in the evenings though as there was a bar directly above and the footfall meant considerable noise.

The location is great. But also the worst. The establishment above it doesn’t close till 11:30 and have music playing and moving chairs around 24/7, and then you have bright sunshine coming in, as soon as the sun is up no curtains or anything. It’s also down stairs, on a main busy road so you feel like you’re in a dungeon. The only good main thing is the bathroom with the tub, also has heated floors. Would not rebook.

We always appreciate a guest's feedback on our space. Yes, being in the city centre means that you will have the hustle and bustle on your doorstep. But that also yields a great opportunity to take in the energy, live like a local, and enjoy everything the Capital has to offer! Edinburgh is a historic city with incredible architecture, but that does mean the flats might be situated a bit differently than you are used to at home. Perhaps that's what lead to your feeling of a dungeon filled with bright sunshine? We do have heavy blackout curtains on all the windows, for both privacy and a little peace if you want to sleep in, sorry you missed that detail. We are pleased you like the heated floors in the bathrooms, we made sure to include many upgrades in this flat to ensure guests had a comfortable stay. Safe travels to your next destination!

Nice property for a group. 3 beds and baths hard to find. Loved the neighborhood, can walk to everything without the congestion of old town.
