Beautiful space that was very clean and the rooftop patio with the view of the bosphorus was amazing. Check in was a little tricky, since the entrance is through a very busy bar. We were lucky to meet the cleaning woman coming out and she provided us with our keys. So, we were able to get inside without waiting to meet our host.I would be aware that the payment for the stay must be paid in euros at check-in directly to the host. That very important detail wasn’t in the listing. I had to scramble to a bank and do a currency exchange a week before my flight after receiving that direct message from the host. Unfortunately, the power wasn’t working for a couple of hours, leaving us with no A/C, no Internet, and no hot water, but the host was very responsive and came to the apartment to fix the issue. I was recovering from surgery during my stay and the location is great for getting to food/necessities. However, I was also working remotely and the aforementioned bar gets Very loud from around 8pm until around 1am. If you’re coming to Istanbul to have fun and explore, then this place is perfect. I wish I hadn’t been tired from surgery & working because the bar downstairs seemed like a happy place and the workers there were all very kind as well. All in all, I’d definitely stay there again, but if you want a quiet rental, then this neighborhood is not for you. Be ready to socialize, explore, & have fun!
