Fantastic stay! RealJoy had fantastic communication leading up to the stay and made the rental process super easy. We had 13 girls on our trip and it was great to have plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to get ready. We also loved the pool and the short walk to the beach! Would definitely recommend.

Communicating with the management company was super easy and quick. Their portal is very easy to use and efficient from check-in to check-out. The proximity to the beach is great... but the public access to these beaches is VERY limited. I guess everyone needs to make a buck but it really sucks when you spend so much money on the rental to then get a sliver of beach access.

My family has stayed here many times over the past few years. The amenities offered are second to none. Home has everything you can possibly need and more. We love the private sports pool, outdoor kitchen and accessibility to every room from the outside. We plan on returning again when the weather gets warmer.

Easy check in process. Accommodating staff. The only glitch would be the inconsistent communication

The property was exactly as described on the website. Very clean with ample space and seating. Convenient location. The private heated pool was a must have and perfect to organize the group in the mornings.

My large family had a great stay at this beach house. We would definitely consider booking here again. It’s about a 6-8 minute walk to the beach. They had lots of umbrellas and chairs to use at the beach. Multiple kitchens and fridges in the house. Close to grocery store. Having a pool was a great way wear out the kids.

We had a great time and the house was perfect. We had 17 people stay with us in the house and never felt like there was an issue. Over all a great place. Beach access is a .5 mile walk and grocery is a .5mile walk. Made it easy and would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation

The property was great for our large family gathering. I let them know the toaster wasn't working and they sent someone over with a brand new one! Totally unexpected! Great communication. Would definitely stay againOne thing; there is only one pull out couch in the living room ( listing says 2). Not a problem for us but wanted to mention for future renters

The hotel delivery across the street at anytime between 4:30-6:00am is horrible! The peeping of the trucks backing in was awful!! The floors could have been a little cleaner. Had to buy a mop! Needed one for my length of stay! I got used to the peeping a little bit! Location excellent! Would have stayed again but was told I don’t get preference for next year even though I was staying there! Never heard that before! Called multiple realtor around and they said they never heard that either! Will be back for sure to Destin but now I had to reserve another property for next year! Done and happy!

Great house and location for family/families with teens, little kids, and babies.

Space worked great for the 3 generations of our family. Little ones loved the pool and big kids could walk to beach, shopping and coffee. It's in a lovely neighborhood. Bedrooms are roomy, baths are nice. Bath by pool entrance was well used. Plenty of refrigerator space and all needed cookware, dishes, etc. The public beach access was disappointing. It's so beautiful, but use of 90% of beach is restricted to those staying in beachfront properties. I've vacationed in Destin several times, but don't see my immediate family of 20 returning if public beach access remains restricted. Really too bad. We always need a big house and like the private space of a home like this one where you can easily walk to the beach.

Not as Expected

The house was spacious but LR furniture is dirty and should be replaced and floors were very dirty needed mopping, paint needs touch up doors very dirty, while unloading my car a snake came from hedges and crossed in front of porch, landscaping and yard needs to be cleaned up, pool area not very clean either and pool is smaller than it appears in the pics. Location is great but not much allotted room at beach. Very high price for condition of property. Will not return or recommend.

This house had roaches and was NOT a short 14 step or 2 block walk to a public beach.

Never staying with this company again. Roaches in the house, electrical outlets didn’t work, broken windows, doors would just pop open to the outside, broken glass around the pool area. It was not a short walk to the beach as advertised. We had to go a mile down the road to the state park for beach access because other beach areas were for guests of other propertities. We had 12 people with us and took until the 3rd day to find the 6th bedroom that has a separate code. Talked with the property manager and their answer was Florida is known for roaches! They were not helpful AT ALL!!!!

Good overall

Like some of the other reviews this house was in need of a deep cleaning and updating. When we arrived we had an issue with the cable box in the living room not working. We contacted Real Joy and they sent a repair man out right away. The cable box was bad and ended up being replaced. After that issue was resolved the AC condenser started leaking through the ceiling in the laundry room. We again contacted Real Joy and they sent a repair man out right away. The repair man thought he had fixed the problem but on our last day it started leaking again. The size of the house was good for several families and the pool was nice! Overall it is a decent house.
