Set in the pretty Wester Ross village of Poolewe, this enviable holiday home is a newly built and charming property that hosts family, friends and pets for unforgettable Highland and coastal escapes. The village offers the chance to embrace a slower pace of life, complete with a village shop, cafes, a bar and restaurant. The area is known for its fantastic salmon fishing – a world-famous beat on the River Ewe can be found just across from the property. Visit Inverewe Gardens (0.5 miles), a tropical oasis known for its impressive botanical attractions, or embark on a tour with West Highland Marine Boat Trips (1 mile), exploring the wonderful wildlife on the water and in the skies above Loch Ewe. Further boat trips are available from Gairloch (6 miles), your nearest town, where you’ll also find a stunning beach backed by rugged scenery.

A delightful home-from-home ambience greets you in this detached cottage – step inside and feel an instant warm welcome. The ground floor consists of a living room, a well-appointed kitchen/diner, and a multi-function utility room, along with a convenient downstairs WC. The kitchen/diner is the social hub of the house, filled with natural light and offering plenty of space for planning adventures. Underfloor heating greets you on cooler Highland mornings. Move through into the living room, where leather sofas are positioned around a Smart TV and a wood burner, creating an inviting space to curl up when the day’s activities are done. Patio doors from both the lounge and kitchen lead onto the wraparound garden and frame pretty views. Upstairs, you’ll find all three restful bedrooms alongside two bathrooms. Choose from a master king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, as well as a double room and a cosy twin that make use of the family bathroom. All three bedrooms offer sweeping river views, while the double room offers access to a river-view Juliet balcony.

When the sun shines, spill out to the generous garden to savour the sounds of the rushing river, play family games on the lawn, or gather around the outdoor furniture for al fresco meals and drinks. To make your arrivals and day trips easy, you’ll also find private off-road parking for two cars.
