The Surla Suite is a stylish floating hotel room designed for two guests. The space is cleverly laid out, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay.

Upon entering, you step into a bright, open living area with large windows offering panoramic water views. One side features a cozy lounge area with a comfortable designer sofa and a dining table for two. A pellet stove adds warmth and atmosphere, even on cooler days.

Adjacent is a compact yet complete kitchenette with a fridge, sink, basic cookware, and a two-burner stove – perfect for breakfast or a light meal.

The elevated sleeping area features a comfortable king-size bed and is smartly separated from the rest of the space, offering a cozy and intimate feel.

The bathroom is modern and luxuriously finished, featuring a walk-in rain shower, toilet, and sink. There is hot water, ambient lighting, and ample storage.

Finally, sliding doors open onto a private deck right on the water, complete with seating, an outdoor shower, and peaceful views over the marina and lake. It`s the perfect spot to relax, sunbathe, read, or enjoy a glass of wine.

Guest Access & Check-in

Entire Houseboat: You have the complete boat to yourself.

Parking: Free parking on-site (a rare luxury in Amsterdam!).

Check-in: Between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Please note: Early check-in is not possible. Late check-in is. On your arrival day at 7:00 AM, you will receive a personalized page containing all essential information, including access codes for the gate and the boat.

Contact: This is a self check-in. Our host is available and reachable for any questions or emergencies during your stay.

Our Surla hosts are locals who know the area well. They are available during your stay for any questions, tips, or recommendations. Need help with renting bikes, reserving a restaurant, or grocery shopping? The host is happy to assist on request.



Parties or events are not allowed. Smoking or using cannabis is not permitted in or around the houseboat. Please respect the quiet atmosphere of the marina and avoid disturbing other guests or boat owners.

The Surla Suite is not suitable for people with reduced mobility due to the access via a floating jetty and the sleeping area on the mezzanine, which is only accessible by stairs. Pets are not allowed. Due to the waterfront location, the accommodation is also not suitable for children without a swimming certificate.

As this is a boat, some gentle movement may occur during strong winds. The exact location of the boat in the marina may differ slightly from the photos, depending on weather conditions. Safety is our priority – we may ask for your cooperation during your stay if we need to reposition the boat.

Guests are not allowed to operate the boat. However, rental boats and sloops are available at the marina to explore the area by water.

We are incredibly proud of our houseboat and take great care of it. We hope you’ll treat it with the same respect and care. If something is broken or not to your satisfaction, please let us know as soon as possible so we can fix or replace it in time for you and our next guests.
1) Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is after 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

2) Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep indoor and outdoor noise to a minimum during these hours.

3) No Parties or Events: Our home is suitable for relaxing stays only. Unregistered guests are not permitted on the property without prior approval.

4) Non-Smoking: Smoking, vaping, or using e-cigarettes inside is strictly prohibited.

5) Care & Safety: Please turn off heating/cooling units and lock all doors and windows whenever you leave the property.

6) Trash & Cleanliness: Please place bagged rubbish in the outdoor bins provided before departure and wash any used dishes.

7) Damage Reporting: Accidents happen—please let us know right away if anything breaks so we can fix or replace it quickly.
