Huset er et ideelt sted. Beliggende ved siden af Norman Bird Sanctuary. Tæt på strande, Sweet Berry Farm, og 3 miles til downtown Newport. Huset har to separate private soveværelser. Et soveværelse har en queen size seng og 2. soveværelse en fuld størrelse. Et bad. . Begge soveværelser har helt ny madras med luksuriøst sengetøj og håndklæder!

Baghaven er meget privat og føles som et fristed. Den udendørs siddeområde er en fantastisk måde at slappe af efter en dag på stranden. This is a wonderful cottage close to beaches and downtown Newport. The house is very well appointed and comfortable with great outdoor space as well. Our host was terrific, very cordial and responsive!

Lori graciously let us stay last minute, and I'm so glad she did! What a nice cottage, great distance to bike or drive to the beaches, equipped with everything you need. Outdoor shower was also great. Thank you, Lori!

Perfect getaway

Everything was perfect. The cottage was really nice! The owner had everything you could possibly think of available as far as supplies go. It is pretty close to Newport and we did some great things in Newport and the host provided some great snacks for us.

Nice private location with beautiful yard and landscaping. Lori was very responsive and had a lovely welcome basket and gift. The bathroom needs to be updated and the couch was worn and uncomfortable. Otherwise a great stay.

Terrific cottage, terrific spot

One could not ask for more than a cozy cottage, a friendly and helpful owner, in a lovely part of the world. We listened to birds sing, watched the sun rise at a nearly by nature preserve, turned the beautiful, nearby church yard of the historic St. Columba chapel, and drove to the nearby, sandy Middletown beaches. It's a beautiful area, if you enjoy nature and nearby good markets and restaurants you cannot go wrong to stay in this comfortable and well stocked cottage set in a beatufil yard with great furnishings.

The Cottage

The cottage is a jewel we were so fortunate to find! Lori is an amazing Host! Everything is there for a relaxing peaceful stay. The home is well appointed and the linens are so very nice, The kitchen has everything!! Overall a delightful home to return to after a day at the beach or spending the day seeing the sights in Newport. Definitely will return. Thank you Lori for creating such a lovely place to vacation.

Adorable cottage

Perfect cottage in Newport!

Lori’s cottage was the perfect spot for a girl’s trip in Newport. It was stocked with every amenity we could ask for and was a convenient location to get into town or the beach. It was super quiet and private- we really enjoyed the outdoor furniture and shower! Easy communication with Lori before and during the stay. Will absolutely be staying here again on our next trip.

I value a quiet, sound sleep, especially when I’m on vacation, and this little cottage delivered that and more! The cottage is very clean and because it was just me who stayed there, it was just the right size. The kitchen provided adequate supplies for a short stay like mine. The shower worked well and the cottage was nice and cool during the high temperatures we were experiencing. The location was out of the fray of Downtown Newport, but the directions were a little hard to understand. I wasn’t quite sure where the driveway was for the cottage when I first arrived in the dark of night, but I found it with a little guesswork. Wireless and tv worked well. Lori was an excellent communicator and a gracious host. She welcomed me with a nice gift and there was an excellent book with instructions and information right in the table upon entering the cottage. I wanted for nothing while I was there and would definitely return on another trip to the Newport/Jamestown area.

Cozy Cottage in Middletown

We stayed for a week at Lori's cottage, which sits bordering a bird sanctuary. The cottage is exactly as described, and Lori, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided suggestions for the local area, greeted us with cut flowers, and was very responsive to any questions. She was the perfect host. The house is a cozy 2-bedroom cottage with comfy beds and lovely linens. Light and airy bedrooms made for a good night's sleep, and waking up to the birds singing was a treat. It has a small bathroom with a good shower and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked most nights, and the very modern stove made it an easy task. Everything was provided, just like in a home kitchen. The outdoor shower is a must-try! The property is only a short 10-minute drive from the downtown area, and it was so nice being in the country. The silence and the clean air were rejuvenating. We did lots of sightseeing around the area during the day, but our favorite moments were having coffee on the porch for the dawn chorus in the morning and coming home at the end of the day to enjoy the property at sunset with evening drinks and nibbles on the porch. It was hard to drive away at the end of our stay! I can highly recommend the cottage. It was such a great place to wind down and slow life for a minute. Lori was a superb host, and we can't wait to come back again.

Peaceful getaway

Lori’s cottage was a wonderful place for us to escape to for a few days. We loved the location. 10 minutes from plenty of attractions. The cottage is comfortable and extremely peaceful. Took every shower in the outdoor shower taking in the sun and birds. We highly recommend her cottage if you’re in need of some down time!

Great experience

We had a great time staying at Lori’s rental in Middletown. This was our second time renting her property. We stayed with our 3 young children and it was great! They loved the fire pit and s’mores. The outdoor area/pergola was great to sit outside at when we got takeout. The location is wonderful and close to everything. Would absolutely recommend!

Great Stay and Tranquil

I want to say that this property is quite the gem. It was within a nook of town that really made you feel a part of an escape. Yet, you were still close enough in short drive to get to city life if needed. The space was big enough for everyone and we were able to spread out comfortably. I really appreciated the cleanliness and the smores packet. The beds were comfortable as well.

The cottage is very charming and so perfectly located near beautiful beaches and a short distance to historic Newport. Lori tips for local eating spots and grocery shopping were so helpful. She is a very attentive host and helped to make our stay memorable.

My wife and I stayed at this quaint, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed cottage for 6 days. We were able to drive a short distance into Newport for shopping and dining, in addition to having our choice of three beaches within a few miles of the cottage. Beautiful, charming hidden gem

This was our last stop on a 2 week New England road trip & although it’s hard to choose a favorite spot, I think it’s safe to say we saved the best for last. This cottage exceeded my expectations from the start. It is absolutely adorable, comfortable & has everything you could want including a great AC system. We were greeted with some sweet surprises & a handwritten note from the owner. The location was so quiet yet close enough to everything. It was such a nice spot to come home to after a day of exploring. We enjoyed watching movies on the couch at night & relaxing on the outdoor couches. The owner was so kind & easy to communicate with. I definitely hope to come back to this beautiful cottage again someday.

Great spot!

We had a lovely stay at Lori's cottage. It is tucked away for the utmost privacy, but close to the beaches and Sweet Berry Farm. Loved sitting on the porch and looking at the garden and using the outdoor shower! Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Cottage Ideal Location. Make a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Great for Roast S’mores. If the weather is finicky there’s a selection of classic book for all age groups, from the library.
The cottage is Walking distance to beaches. Near Sachuest Point wildlife refuge, beautiful Walking trail for a a picturesque 2.5 mile walk along the Atlantic. The property borders the Norman Bird Sanctuary, it makes a peaceful place for yoga or meditations, the songs of the birds and wildlife provide a beautiful, melodic concerts.
Or take stroll to Sweetberry farm to pick fresh berries, or fresh wildflowers, reward yourself with yummy ice cream!
The farm sells Locally sourced and grown fruits and vegetables with an incredible selection of meats, cheeses, fresh baked cookies, breads and pies, oh my.
