Schaefer Adventures @ 34. 5 mm med dock

Glad you enjoyed staying at the Schaefer Adventures for the Lake of the Ozarks fishing tournament. We are next to the Hurricane Deck boat access ramp and you can park your trailer in the subdivision lot. Plenty of space on the driveway for several cars and we offer the garage for additional space for your truck or vehicles. Be sure to contact us for Return Guest discounts and specials all year around. Come back anytime!

We are glad you were able to make it this year! Missed you last year when you had to cancel your reservation in 2025. JK Powell Properties is a small property management company here at the Lake and we pride ourselves in building personal relationships with Guests when they come back year after year. I know you said you never give 5-star reviews, per your first stay when we asked you what we could do to earn a 5-star, but we sure hope you noticed the new upgrades made over the past two years: new flooring, walk in shower bathroom remodel, bigger TV in living room, new dining room table, new towels, new sheets, new comforters, added a Blackstone griddle grill along side the BBQ propane grill, resurfaced the decking on the house and dock, added a storage shed on the front lawn—with all kinds of lake toys, boat towables, an air compressor, life jackets, super soakers, pool noodles, a new lily mat,all for guest use included—, rebuilt the dock locker with new wood and always offer the dock #6000 boat lift at no additional charge for your boat. I’m glad you and your family were able to bring your four legged family member to the lake this year. I mailed back the dog harness left behind. Hope to see you again next year!! Maybe we can convince you the 5-star rating is not a 5-star hotel rating but how much we love our return guests and always trying to make their family vacation a great vacation! Contact us direct next year for more VIP Return Guest discounts, as always. Cheers! Kim

Couldn't have asked for better guests. Lindsey and their group were respectful and communicative, and left the place in perfect order. Lindsey, glad you liked all the upgrades the Schaefer's made this winter. We love hosting the same families year after year. See you next Spring!

So happy to hear you loved Schaefer Adventures for your family vacation! Yes, the Schaefers have included everything you would need at their house because they stay there too. This is not just a house to rent at the lake, but a home we share. Plenty of room for everyone! Glad you enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker and TV in the garage, two extra refrigerators, a workbench, air compressor, and you can park two cars inside as well. The short walk to the dock is nice, and it is through a flat yard, which is a plus here at the lake. So glad your family enjoyed the many amenities at Schaefer Adventures. This June, we had record amounts of rainfall, which is not normal: 4" one day, and the next week, 6", which was hard on our 300-foot road of 7 houses. We do road repairs and grading twice a year, so come back to Schaefer Adventures at any time of the year, as we rent year-round.

So glad you enjoyed your stay this winter at Schaefer Adventures. We welcome 4-legged family members at the Schaefer house, and glad you were able to bring your dog. We look forward to your return in the summer. -John & Kim Powell, property managers of J&K Powell Properties, LLC for J&D Schaefer

Happy to have you return to Schaefer Adventures for your family holiday gathering. The winter is the best kept secret at the lake. We are happy to hear you and family enjoyed your second stay this year. Come back again!

So glad your Girl's Weekend was a success at the Schaefer Adventures! With the big open living room and kitchen, there is plenty of room for everyone on the couch or at the dining room table to be able to spend time together. Our cleaning staff is one of the best at the Lake, and we have protocols in place to double check and sanitize every stay. We appreciate your great review and come back anytime.

Thanks Keith! We try and provide all the little things and extras other rental properties do not provide. We hope to see your group again in the future!

Happy to hear you enjoyed the lakefront and all the fun amenities provided at the Schaefer Adventures Lakehouse this summer. The Schaefers have anticipated what families need on vacation because they have family come stay with them too. Feel free to send us your packing list ahead of time so we can save you space in your car. With pre-approval, Schaefer Adventures is pet friendly with a $50/per pet fee. This fee helps cover the extra insurance with having pets and we also provide food/water bowls, and a special treat for your four legged family member. The shoreline is a gradual exit for pets if they like to swim. Come back and see us anytime of the year!

Thanks for your review of Schaefer Shoreline Adventures for your October stay. I know the weather was rainy, the lake level was down during your stay, and the crappie were not biting as you hoped. Those three items we can not control but wish we could. We are so thankful to our neighbor for allowing you to keep your second fishing boat in their slip under cover of rain for your stay. It seems the access ramp under Hurricane Deck was convenient to the house’s location as well and we were happy to meet you and your party at the house and assist where needed. Whatever we can do for a five star review, please let us know. We take pride in individual service and meeting your needs when you stay in a property managed by J&K Powell Properties LLC. We look forward to your group returning in the future and we will see what we can do about getting more crappie on that end of the lake for you ;) Take care and hope to have you back soon! - John & Kim Powell, property managers for J&D Schaefer

The Schaefer Adventures house is a great place for a family with 3 bedrooms and 6 beds, large open concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. We are happy you brought your fur-babies and welcome you back anytime!

Happy to host your family over the years! Glad to see you have reserved 2024 already. July books up quickly.

So happy to hear your family vacation was a success! The house is perfect for large families or extended families. You are always welcome to contact us with any questions or email us. We are just a short drive away to help. We look forward to you returning again soon. Cheers! Kim

So happy to hear you enjoyed your 10 day vacation at the Schaefer Shoreline Adventures this February. The weather was spring like for several days, and I am glad you were able to go fishing off the dock. The owner really and truly have thought of everything. They stay here in the off season and are always improving or adding something new every few months. We hope you return again soon.

Thank you for your review and glad you were able to bring your own boat to watch the Shootout. Schaefer Adventures is located at the Shootout finish line in a no wake cove. There is a 6000# lift for a Vhaul 30ft boat as well as a slip for a pontoon or second boat.

So happy hear the young kids had fun! We keep fishing poles in the dock closet and glad you were able to catch some fish during your stay. The dock is our favorite place to hang out and we never have to worry about boats when swimming because we are in a small cove off the main channel. We hope you and your family return in the future. Thank you for the nice review.
