House is close (easy walk) to the beach. House itself is beautiful, clean and great for a family or friends. The only thing is bedrooms are 3 floors up and hot water takes awhile to get there but once it does, hot and great shower.

Very new, clean house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including beach chairs, towels, sand toys and beach cart. Quick walk to beach, pier, playground, restaurants and shops. Great central location for day trips to SLO, Pismo, Paso Robles and San Simeon. Access was easy and communication with property manager was very good. We would stay again!

Thank you for the high review marks. The owners and my 7SVR team works hard so our guests have an enjoyable experience. Soon after your stay the owners made a installed acoustical sound glazed windows in the front bedrooms facing Avila Beach Drive. So far, feedback from other guests have been positive the treated windows are reducing street noise.

Beautiful and Clean but noisy traffic throughout the night

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Clean, well stocked home but no sleep due to busy road. Would recommend this property as long as they are full aware of traffic noise and are hard sleepers. Left more tired than when we arrived. Everything else was fantastic!

Great place!

Only thing that was not communicated correctly was the parking situation. They said there were only 2 spots but there were more than that so frustrating when we could have taken one more car. Also there was plenty of street parking that was not noted accurately either. Other than that great little place.

Thank you for the review. We work diligently to represent our properties accurately. The listing description describes the parking situation as ... "There is a two car garage, plus driveway parking for 2 more autos. The owner does store a personal auto in the garage, so in total there is a total of 3 parking spaces available to guest (1 inside the garage, 2 in the driveway)." There is street parking also. Depending on the season and local events, street parking can be difficult to obtain. At this property you can count on 3 off-street parking spaces.

We had a wonderful stay at this Avila Beach vacation rental. The proximity to the beach was fantastic—just a short stroll and you’re right on the sand. It was also easy to walk to local shops, restaurants, and cafés, making it convenient to grab a bite or enjoy a cup of coffee without ever needing to drive. Mission Pizza and the Custom House are must-tries, and there’s a cozy local coffee shop nearby for your morning caffeine fix. Inside, the home was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable—everyone in our group slept great after long days of exploring. We appreciated the overall layout and thoughtful amenities; the water pressure in the showers was excellent, and taking a hot shower after a day at the beach was a real treat. We only experienced one minor issue: the sink in the master bathroom was a bit slow to drain. However, this didn’t affect our overall stay and was easily outweighed by the home’s many positives. Between the excellent location and the welcoming, tidy space, we’d definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Avila Beach.

This was a very clean house in a good location a block from Avila Beach. It was relatively quiet in spite of facing the main road. Our party consisted of 4 adults, so the 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths were what we were looking for. The disappointment was that one of the bedrooms had a sofa bed with a thin padding instead of a full mattress. Each room had a noise machine which we used nightly. The deck and grill were very nice to have and we used them each night. The kitchen was well-appointed and efficient. It would have been helpful to have instructions for the TVs and the different remotes. When we put the living room TV on, the TV in the master bedroom also came on -- we never completely fixed this. Overall, we had an enjoyable graduation weekend and the home was about a 15 to 20 minute drive to the CalPoly festivities.

Beautiful house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Amore Avila! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The only downside was the 3rd bedroom. We saw 3 bedrooms and assumed (our fault) that it was 3 beds. It showed in the pictures a couch, which we should have realized. But it was not a great bed for our 2 teenagers that didn't want to share a bed to begin with. Also to note, if you park in the garage there are a lot of stairs to make it up to the bedrooms. And the shower in one room is a deep tub/shower, so if mobility is an issue, this might not be the place for you. But overall it was a great place and we would stay again, just with 4 people or a blow up to use instead of the pull out couch.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderfully decorated and newer home with many detailed comforts (sound machines and kitchen supplies). Also, the garage and two carport spaces are spacious and the road to them is gated. The beach was only a short walk. We wish the sofa bed was a regular bed. We used the sound machines which helped the street noise. Overall, a great place we would consider renting again.

The beach is very close, along with all the great restaurants! If you are a light sleeper, there are some great noise machines in the rooms that face the street. If you need groceries, get them ahead in SLO or Pismo Beach (or use a delivery service).

Stay in Avila

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I image most people don't go to Avila to watch TV. But! Sometimes in relaxing to watch your favorite programs, something we couldn't do because there was no "regular" TV, only Smart TV. Missed all the football on Sat. and Sun. And whats the reason for not having three beds in a three bedroom house. The house was clean. Don't think we'll be staying here again.

Very Nice Property.

Avila beach never disappoints and this property did not either. If you have a service dog, they will ask you, what kind of service dog they are and what they are trained to do. They will also monitor you coming in and out. There are cameras everywhere. I was asked how many people were staying there because the owner said "the door opening and closing" suggested we had more than 6 people in the home. None the less, the property is as described and very comfortable and clean.

Thank you for taking the time to review Amore Avila. It's good to hear you found the home's amenities enjoyable. For the protection of our guests and property the owner does have EXTERIOR cameras at entry doors. It's unfortunate some one in your party pressed the alarm system "panic" button that alerted the authorities to dispatch. Of course a panic alarm raises concern, and we will followup to ensure a guest does not need medical assistance.
