Words cannot describe how wonderful this property is. We had a family reunion vacation and we all had such an amazing time. We used every aspect of the house just to get a change of scenery. There were 14 of us and not once did we feel crowded. We are already looking at a date for the next trip and staying here.

This is a beautiful property with lots of room for extended families and friends. Between the two houses we had 12 guests from 8 months to 78 years and the accommodations were perfect for all of us -- giving us ample space to gather together or to have our separate areas. They provided a portable crib for the baby and there was a high chair available but we didn't use it.There are two pools, we mainly used the pool on the ground floor - there are beach umbrellas and chairs and sand toys available. There are also puzzles and other toys for young children.The location was great - We were able to walk to the beach - maybe a 10 minute walk - and also to the coffee shops, cafes, grocery store and pharmacy. The hosts are quick to respond and their property manager, Erika, was on hand to greet us at check in and to assist with any questions we may have had.They keep the property and pools well-maintained and have air conditioning in the houses - which was great as we were there in September and it was hot and humid - but we were cool and comfortable inside.We mainly used the kitchen in Casa Sylvia and it has a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, blender and lots of glassware and dishes, knives and utensils. And we ate all our meals in the outside dining area.There is a gas BBQ that we also used that was clean and in good condition.We all recommend this lovely property.

Very enjoyable stay

Family vacation-ages 22-70. Location is great for walking to restaurants and about 3 blocks to the beach. Pools in the property are really nice in the afternoons and it was nice and quiet at night.

Villa Escapar was the perfect place for our family of 9 to get together in beautiful Bucerias. The location could not be better for the many 10 minute trips to Chedraui supermarket for supplies. Very quick access to the main streets for restaurants, the beach and shopping. We really enjoyed family time at the villa, in the pool, cooking on the bbq and playing games with the kids/grandkids. So many bedrooms to choose from, each with their own bath. The villa is well equipped with everything you need from towels to beach chairs to all types of cooking appliances. Highly recommend for large groups looking for a private enclave. Very good communication with the property owner and property manager, who made sure we were settled on arrival and visited us on departure.

Came with our married children and grandchildren for 10 days. Wonderful home away from home in which to celebrate.

Erika our host was great - she was there to welcome us and close by to answer all of our questions that we had. This was our first VRBO experience. Family of 13 ranging from 1 yr to 62! Walking distance to grocery, beach and many restaurants. Perfect for families when kids nap at different times. Amazing pools and amount of surprise items in the house was great (stroller, car seats, baby gate, play pen, toys)

Rhoads 2025 Reunion

The entire family has an excellent stay creating cherished memories. We wanted for nothing. The home manager made the checking in and out process easy. The home(s) felt like being in our own homes - comfortable and loving. Would highly recommend.

Bucerias Adventure

Great location for two families with all adults to come together and celebrate a recent college graduation as well as an on site wedding at the villa. Wonderful time!

Great family destination

Lovely private villa with great indoor and outdoor spaces. Walkable to stores, restaurants and beach. Be sure to communicate expectations if you request meals to be prepared.

I brought my family of eight people to Casa Marilyn and Casa Sylvia for a vacation getaway during spring break. Upon arrival, they were so excited about the accommodation…. the huge swimming pool, two huge houses together in a private setting outlined by beautiful trees and shrubs. We could play our music over the speakers by the pool without any interruption. My teenage granddaughters were ecstatic about the 2nd swimming pool upstairs just outside their bedroom. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. A big thank you to Eriqa, who met us at the entrance and showed us all over the property and offered her assistance whenever we needed her. The owners Jack and Sylvia were very attentive in our correspondence prior to our booking this beautiful property. I would not hesitate recommending it on VRBO anytime. Thank you so much!

Great family time

Casa Escapar el Frio was a wonderful spot for our family to gather. We loved the layout and the kids spent many hours in the pool. The location is very good in Bucerías with easy access to the beach, zona Dorado and good restaurants. The weather was very hot and humid but mostly sunny and did not stop us from having a great time. We would love to visit again.

Great Family Vacation

Great Family Propery

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed as a family of 12 adults and 2 toddlers. Plenty of room and everything you can imagine to have a great family vacation. Bucerias has a great family vibe and we hope to come back again soon. Jack, Sylvia, and Erika all went above and beyond to assure we had a great time at their place.

Great property for Families!!

We were a group of 4 families, 8 adults and 6 kids between 2 and 6 years old. We had a great time! There was plenty of space for everyone and the pool was amazing. We loved the variety of places to hang out in this property with the rooftop patios, the large living rooms and the huge patio table! It is well located, only a few min to the beach and close to lots of great restaurants!

Great vacation!

Our party was extremely pleased with property! Lorena, our host for the trip, was available, efficient and welcoming. Monica, the housekeeper, came and cooked for us twice. Her cooking was amazing! The kids loved the pool and the house’s location in Bucerias was great. We were walking distance to beach and many restaurants. We would use this property again!

Great place with lots of space

We stayed here with a total of 9 people ranging in age from 7-50 and everyone was comfortable. The ground-level pool was a huge hit. The spiral stairs to get to the rooftop were a little much for some of our crowd so we didn’t use the other pool much. Lots of space to spread out and the AC worked well which was great because it was very hot during our visit.

Funny to read about the spiral stair and top pool. When we stay there during our family reunion, the top pool usually is occupied by the younger crowd. Especially during happy hour.
