Dejlig, moderne og lys lejlighed i det bedste sikre turistmæssige sted i Lima. Miraflores top floor

Stayed two night in Miraflores. Great location and clean appt. Host allowed us a late checkout and held our bags before late night flight.

Wonderful Experience

Carla was a great host. She was super responsive and very helpful. She gave me good recommendations . The location of her apartment was super convenient. We were able to walk to a lot of places. We also felt safe the whole time. Overall a wonderful experience in Miraflores. I will definitely book Carla's apartment when I go back to Peru. Thank you Carla!

Great Location

The issues I had with the apartment had to do mostly with what I consider stinginess on the part of the host. The apartment does not come with the usual provisions I have encountered in other vrbos. There were no napkins, paper towels, coffee, detergent, shower gel, garbage bags that fit the garbage canister (only flimsy supermarket vegetable bags). We were provided 1 TP per bathroom for a stay of 5 days/3 people. There was not even a bottle of water which I would think is advisable considering tap water is undrinkable in Lima. There was some salt, pepper, hand soap, and two packets of ketchup. That is all. Please take note that only the main room has an AC - the smaller room (twin bed) does not. The dryer did not work so we had to hang dry the clothes which due to the humidity, it took a while - no biggie though. We did not go to Lima to spend the day inside thus, all in all the rental was good. The apartment has a very good location right in the heart of Miraflores. It is ample enough and was given to us clean (minus a few black mold lines in the main shower and a slight cigarette smell in the smaller bathroom that dissipated soon) .

Fantastic apartment

I enjoyed my stay at this apartment in this spacious - clean- well equipped large apartment. The owner Karla was gracious and hospitable. The best apartment I have booked in LIMA in many years. I am planning on returning in the fall for business. I am probably going to book now. Thank you Karla Nino from. San Marino. California

Calle Alcanfores apartment

This is a very nice apartment in the heart of Miraflores close to everything. It has two bedrooms ( we only needed one), a kitchen/ dining area, and two bathrooms. It is convenient to the metro station and the public transportation as well as to Maleçon and shopping/ dining. All in all, great for the stay in Lima.

Nice location in Miraflores, Lima Peru

We really enjoyed this property and location. The weather was very cool during our stay and the owner provided some space heaters which helped. We were doing some travelling in Peru so great to have laundry facilities. The kitchen is small but adequate. I would be nice if there were some basic items like salt and pepper in the kitchen so you don't have to buy everything little thing for basic cooking but we are not really experienced VRBO users so maybe that is common. Certainly this was good value and it was very convenient. Fantastic host too. If the weather was going to be warmer, we could have enjoyed the roof top location more.

Potentially the right place for you, but was the wrong place for me.

I will start off by saying there are positive aspects and the property is appropriately priced. Owner was very responsive, beds are comfortable, location is ideal. The apartment building in is a great part of Miraflores near good restaurants and grocery stores, but it is on a side street that makes picking up an Uber very easy. However, for us the negatives were greater than the positives. Towels and sheets had to be washed before use. It was extremely cold and the space heater was not sufficient. (We didn't request a fix for this, Carla may have been willing to help if we had.) There are dishes but some odd notes like there is only one cereal bowl. There was a strange growth coming out of the baseboards in the master bedroom. There is no desk. You can sit at the kitchen table to work but there isn't a power outlet. I ended up putting the outdoor table and chair in the master bedroom to do work. There is a great bathtub in the master bath but not enough hot water in the tank to fill it up. The pillows and spare pillows were badly stained. The master bedroom has gorgeous floor to ceiling windows but they offer no sound protection, it was incredibly loud. And while it is not a concern, it is interesting to note that this apartment is not inside of the apartment building, it is on top of it. So take the elevator to the top floor, walk up a flight of stairs (as discussed in the profile), and you are outside on the roof, walk to the back and into the apartment. There is no issue with that, we just were surprised. Finally, some properties have available basic food items like salt, and extra toilet paper and paper towels. The profile doesn't say these are included so it isn't fair to expect them, but it would be nice if they had it. We stayed 2 weeks but we were only provided one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and no paper towels. All in all, good value for the price, but I would have rather paid more to stay somewhere a bit nicer. Definitely would not stay again.

Center of Miraflores...can’t be beat

This is the spot to be, center of Miraflores. Near stores, transit, the beach, a block from the Airport Express bus from Lima Airport. Property is on 13th floor (Penthouse). Only thing is that no elevator from 12 to 13, so keep that in mind if ADA. Once inside, two bedrooms and two baths plus laundry. After traveling for two weeks, laundry was a happy sight. Also the master bedroom and bath are amazing. Fully stocked kitchen, but either try local amazing cuisine or test your cooking class skills in this kitchen. Carla, the owner, is so hospitable and responsive. Can’t go wrong staying here. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back to Lima and stay with Carla.

Perfect visit

We loved the location - close to restaurants ,supermarkets and a 15 min walk to the ocean views. Loved the deck view for morning coffee and evening happy hour. Lots of storage space and super comfortable bed. Hot water is on timer so make sure it’s hot when you need it . Carla is a great hostess

Perfect place in Lima!

This apt was spacious had well equipped bathrooms and full Laundry. It was impeccably clean on arrival - easy access to everywhere we went either by taxi or on foot. Cannot say enough good things about the host or the apartment!!!!!

TRULY THE PERFECT LOCATION FOR A LIMA VACATION

I couldn't have picked a better location, the apartment was nice, clean, well equipped, and very safe. Literally a walking distance to everything I needed including souvenir shops, restaurants, banks, two supermarkets, and etc. We recommend this place to anybody that is coming to Lima and want to stay in Miraflores. Best location and price in Miraflores! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

My husband and I travel to Peru frequently and always stay in Miraflores. Over the years, we've rented many apartments … all of them good, but this one was great! The location and price can't be beat! We loved the outdoor patio space as well! Carla was very responsive and easy to work with. She speaks English, so if you're worried about that, you need not be. The apartment was very clean and the master bedroom was spacious and comfortable - plenty of room to unpack if you're there for a long stay. The second bedroom had a single bed for one person. A fourth could sleep on the sofa in the LR. Since we were there for 2 weeks, we were able to do laundry frequently, as there is a washer and drier in the laundry room off the master bedroom. A rare find in many Miraflores rentals at this price. The apartment is located on the 13th floor and the elevator only goes to the 12th, so be advised that there is one flight of stairs you'll have to walk up if that is a concern. We did have a minor "glitch" with the AC in the master bedroom, but Carla was very responsive in addressing that issue. As I said, we always stay in Miraflores and love it there - this time we got lucky and I found Carla's apartment - we were in Lima for 2 weeks. It is so easy to walk to banks (we always use the ATMs at Scotia Bank, as they don't charge a fee) - would recommend taking out $$ and changing them in the street with the money changers(cambistas) - wearing blue vests - you almost always get a better rate than what the banks will give you if you withdraw in soles, wonderful grocery stores (I recommend Metro as it is the cheapest), "Indian" markets for shopping - easy and very lovely walk, Larco Mall and, so many restaurants I can't even begin to name them If you happen to be there on a Friday night, check out the "Parque Kennedy" - there is a "show" at 8:00 PM (usually) that features local musicians and dancers … lots of fun! You can top off the evening with a pisco sour at one of the many restaurants surrounding the park and walk safely home. Carla is also happy to make recommendations. Thanks, Carla for providing us with a home away from home for two weeks! We really loved our stay and hope to see you soon (Dios mediante) in the future!

Great Place and Location!

Carla was a wonderful host and very helpful. The apartment was clean, light, spacious, and well equipped. It was perfect for us due to its quiet location right in the middle of Miraflores, plenty of stores, restaurants within steps (and the washer dryer in its own laundry room). The bed and bedding were comfortable -- nice stay. We will return.

Excellent location, beautiful accommodations

We very much enjoyed our stay in Carla’s penthouse apartment! The location cannot be beat. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Communication with Carla was easy and she met us upon check-in to orient us to the place. We highly recommend this property and will certainly book it again the next time we are in Lima.
