Amazing !

this was our 2nd time staying here and ince again it did not disappoint. The home is comfortable and cozy with amazing views. Travis the host is very friendly and welcoming. we really love staying here

Beautiful Location and excellent hosts

We had such a wonderful time at Silver Lake. Travis and Cati were such great hosts. The location was so beautiful, and the home was just perfect. We had a great stay.

Family getaway

We had an excellent time staying in this home: the owners are very welcoming and offer lots of water toys to enjoy. The house was very clean and had anything you could possibly need.

Escape from reality

We had an amazing time at Silver Lake escape. Travis had everything we needed, he even made us a yummy lemon cake upon arrival. The lake was beautiful. My children had fun paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. The house was close to all the activities we had planned. It was nice to come home to a hot tub, after a day of hiking. I highly recommend this house.

Just great!

The property is in a beautiful location on the shore of the lake. It is built to provide excellent views. The accommodations are lovely. All appointments high end. Heated floor, granite, ice and water in refrig door, every kitchen appliance you can name and the list goes on. It was sparkling clean and the property owners are friendly and responsive. There are various water toys provided and a hot tub. We have stayed in many rental properties and seldom are they this nice!

Incredible Stay

Wow, this place was amazing!! The lake right out your door, the owners were so nice and accommodating! Everything you could need for your vacation on the lake is there, towels, paddle boards , canoe, and beautiful water. The house fit the 6 of us perfect and I even slept on the pullout which was very comfortable ( I was shocked). Great location, not to far from Seattle for a visit. I was a little leery when I heard the owners live upstairs, but they were wonderful, like having old friends around when you wanted them to be…and their dog Amos was the highlight for me and my girls. We would ask for him every morning…such a sweetie…we hope to return again next year as you couldn’t find a better place or better hosts anywhere!! Thanks for having us!!

Beautiful stay with great lake access

Our family of five, with 2 children ages 7 & 5, their grandmother, and my husband and I, had a fun and relaxing time at Silver Lake. The house was perfect for us - good size, spotless, great lake access, private, and comfortable. The pedal boat was a favorite for the kids, while the stand-up paddle boards were fun for all. Lots of games, kids books, and craft supplies in the closet kept us all entertained when we weren't on the lake or in the hot tub. Adults became quickly addicted to the cooperative game Hanabi, which we played late into the night a couple of nights. Cati, Travis, and their awesome dog Amos were very friendly and welcoming, while still allowing us our family time. We hope to make this a recurring vacation for our family.

One of our most favorite rentals

So many good things: very spacious living area, easy access to the dock and lake, and what fun water activities (Cati and Travis even got new pool noodles and a float during our stay). We kayaked across the lake and found a young bald eagle in the trees! Small, close-knit neighborhood (be sure to check out Gary's yard next door) with Safeway and Costco close by, and a variety of restaurants too. Quick access to/from freeway if you read their instructions. Cati and Travis were great hosts: they had cold bottled water for us, and special treats waiting for us and kids. They had also set up an air conditioning unit in the dining area as a heat wave was approaching. Kitchen was one of the best equipped we've been at. We really miss the lake views!

We loved everything about this place: boating, fishing, swimming, even picking blueberries in the back yard. If we had a do-over, we would skip the tourist-y Seattle stuff and just spend a day (or more) playing at the house.The house was very clean and well-stocked with necessities. It's on a very quiet street, within walking distance of the park and close to stores and restaurants. Our host was right upstairs, so any needs were addressed right away (he even left a bowl of blueberries on the porch for us).If you stay here, take our advice and leave lots of time in your schedule to enjoy the amenities. We hope to do the same if we get to come back.
My first yellow perch! Lots of these, rock bass, blue gill, and one big largemouth that wasn't interested in being caught. Pick up some worms at Fred Meyer and you can catch fish all day.

Beautiful lakefront property! We had such a wonderful time and Travis was an amazing host! We were able to have family visit and enjoy the lake, the putting green and family meals. Everything that we would ever need was supplied. We will definitely book again. So much fun!

Travis was a great host and we had a wonderful stay at Silver Lake. The accommodations were well-appointed with everything we needed and our boys loved being able to swim, fish off the dock, and paddle around the lake, not to mention putting on the green and relaxing in the hot tub. Turned our long weekend in the area for a soccer tournament into a much more fun and relaxing get-away.

Can't say enough good things about the Silver Lake Escape and Travis.Beautiful, well kept property on a beautiful lake. The house is well furnished with comfy beds, sofas, and a well equipped kitchen. Travis had a jar of freshly ground local coffee ready for the coffee maker.Our girls enjoyed picking the raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries that were in season (early July). They also had fun catching some small rock bass and baby perch from the dock. We kayaked around the lake and enjoyed the views from the house and dock.Travis was incredibly friendly and available to answer any questions or deal with issues (of which there were none).Honestly nothing negative to say about the whole experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wouldn't hesitate to book again the next time we're in the area.Thanks Travis!

Spectacular Property and Stay

This is such a beautiful property right on the Lake and is so comfortable and well equipped. Travis has created the perfect place to relax and has been mindful to have things for anyone at any age to enjoy. A putting green, paddle boat, games, hot tub, fresh berries to pick and enjoy, just naming a few. This home is truly magical and we for sure will stay again when visiting family in the area.

Memorial Day Stay

Silver Lake Escape

We stayed at the Silver Lake Escape while visiting family. The space is warm, inviting and well stocked. Travis was very accommodating and helpful. I felt like I was staying with a good friend. We love to stay there again!

Perfect For Little ones

We really enjoyed our time on Silverlake. Check in was fast and easy. The property was CLEAN and stocked with the major essentials making our stay super easy with little ones. The rooms were a great size, loved having a laundry room in the space too! The communication was great, we needed to book an extra day. The host responded fast, was friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back.

Second time staying at this home

Warm and welcoming home with all necessary amenities! Travis, the owner, is easy to communicate with and is very readily available for any queries. This is our second stay at this property. We enjoy the view, the close proximity to grocery and shops and the area is near to so many places to drive to for day trips. We will definetly return.

We had a wonderful stay. This lake-front property is quiet and peaceful but not far from I-5. We enjoyed being able to hop on the nearby light rail to sightsee in Seattle. Travis was a great host!

Greeting... I have been an active on-site host at the Silver Lake Escape since 2018. I enjoy meeting the guests on vacation and doing what I can to make your stay as fun and comfortable as possible.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

Lake life is great. The scenery and vibrance of the all-day sun (when it's sunny). Silver Lake is natural, fed by warm and cold Springs and is great for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. There are no motors allowed on this lake, except for the annual hydro event the 1st weekend of June, so it's a very safe lake for individual water activities. The bald eagles are here most of the year, we have a resident Great Blue Heron who reveals herself periodically, and the occasional family of otters are seen passing by.
