La Casa di Ambra is a great property. It is located centrally in Catania close to all attractions and restaurants. It is spacious and nicely decorated and was well big enough for the 4 of us, with another sofabed available. Massimo is lovely to deal with, advising us on the best parking garage to us and meeting us there upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Catania.

Massimo was a great host. He went above and beyond to help us get in and get settled even tywe came in late! Truly a great time. Very close to shopping and restaurants easy walks to everything

A very beautiful and unique property in the centre of Catania. Location cannot be better - within minutes walk to sights, restaurants, market and main square.The apartment has a lot of things you’d not expect from a property rental. It looks like the hosts are renting their own home, the property is filled with love and care.We had a lovely time in Catania and Massimo was very helpful to organise a taxi for us to the property and back to the airport at a very reasonable price.Thank you Massimo for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The host, Massimo gave up his home for the 4 of us for 3 nights. The house was not modern but it was just what we were looking for. It was close to the city center and we got the "living like a local" experience that we wanted. It was easy to walk to restaurants and markets.

Great location and comfortable apartment

Great location!

The location was amazing! Close to everything we wanted to see in Catania and lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. The apartment is very spacious and homey, we had a great stay!

Great Location

Great Location, Close to everything!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Amber's House! Only small issue was parking but everywhere in Sicily city centers parking is pretty hard to find. Great host! and great amenities!!

Good Stay, like home away from home

We had a good experience at this roomy, clean, well-located, place. It was convenient to major attractions within walking distance. Amber was super in orienting us to the place. I recommend this to anyone for a pleasant stay in Catania!

Pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Massimo's home.It is bright and clean and centrally located. His home feels very lived in. Massimo was very friendly and helpful and gave us some good tips for the area. I would stay there again.

A spacious apartment in the center of Catania

This is a very nice, clean and spacious property with a very convenient location. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Normally, check-in is in the afternoon but our plane was arriving at 7 in the morning and we were able to check in early. The owner helped us with directions and met us in the apartment and helped us orient ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Catania apartment!

The apartment is spacious and allowed our family of four adults to spread out during our stay. It is clean and very well equipped--and was or is clearly somewhere the owner himself stays. It has an excellent location for exploring the main sites of interest in Catania. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend the apartment highly!

A real home! We were delighted to stay at Casa di Ambra for our first visit to Catania. The location is amazing - so close to everything by walking (a bit far from the train with luggage, but there are loads of buses if needed). We love staying in a real home, not some vacation rental, because everything you need is available. Need scissors to open that package of cheese? Check! Ambra (who met us on check in) was super helpful and we used many of her local suggestions during our stay. From Catania we were also able to visit Taormina,Siracusa, and Etna easily without a car. The apartment is close to many bars, cafes, and restaurants but is also very quiet in the bedroom for sleeping. Highly recommended for a couple looking for a relaxing way to visit this part of Sicily!! We left Catania by plane and the Alibus to the airport is a very easy walk from the apartment. Grazie Massimo!!!

Lovely Huge apartment

The apartment is exactly as described and how it looks in the pictures. The apartment is large with plenty of rooms and space. The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the Duomo and the main square. Plenty of great restaurants within a couple of blocks. Massimo's daughter Ambra was there to meet us at the apartment to tell us everything we needed to know. She was great and her english was excellent.

Friendly, helpful owner

We love the location and the apartment. Massimo was friendly and helpful. The only downside to us was there was nowhere to put our clothing and stuff. I assume Massimo lives there when not renting so every drawer and closet was being used by him.

Wonderful apartment in Catania

This was a very nice spacious apartment in Catania. Location was very central, half way between Plaza Duomo and castle Ursino, but still quiet at night. Massimo was an excellent host, picking us up from the station at arrival and taking us to the airport when leaving. He even took us to Etna and Etnaland during our stay. Very recommended!

This was a great experience. Our host was more than accommodating in all our needs. He helped us with our transportation, even when our trip arriving was delayed by the airlines. I would recommend this place to anyone.
