Mountain N' Shores Chalet

This waterfront chalet has breathtaking views of downtown Juneau, majestic mountains, the Northern Lights, Cruise Ships and the Gastineau Chanel. Enjoying this home is easy from the big picturesque windows, wrap around deck, claw foot bath tub, walk in shower, huge master bedroom, viewing loft and rustic but modern interior. This home is set up for entertaining yet relaxing and sure to meet each individual vacationers needs. Each bed is equipped with Eddie Bauer sheets and comforter sets. The bathrooms are fully stocked with luxury Egyptian cotton towels. This home has a special featured display case enclosed is Alaskan hand made pieces and descriptions along with Alaskan books on the shelf in the viewing loft to enjoy. We look forward to your stay at Mountain N' Shores Chalet!

This house is everything you could ever wish for! The location is directly across from downtown Juneau and the cruise port. Beautiful scenery, lots of wildlife and plenty of peace and serenity. Just minutes to drive to Juneau shops and fabulous food! We truly appreciated this peaceful retreat at the end of our busy days!

Chalet of Dreams

The chalet was the absolute perfect location from which to explore Juneau and all it has to offer WITHOUT having to fight the hordes of cruise ship passengers downtown. It’s a perfect blend of modern and rustic cabin with detailed touches like a snack basket and welcome chocolates on your pillow at arrival. Every detail has been thought of here.

Everything was top notch and would definitely stay there again, and the view is spectacular. I do have one complaint that nobody would know when or how an appliance would stop working, it was the washing machine. It wasn’t the end of the world but we made it through it. Thank you again

Perfect Juneau Rental

The rental had everything we needed, a stunning view (and eagle watching every morning!), fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and linens and super responsive hosts. We loved it so much that we are already planning our next trip back to Juneau!

Amazing Views

We had an amazing time staying at Mountain N' Shores Chalet. We had so much fun just simply watching out the windows facing Juneau downtown area. Such a fun place and plenty of room.

Great Location for Juneau Activities

This property is on the shoreline with a great view of Juneau across the channel. It was a great location for four adults and four kids. All the rooms were perfect for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this home, that felt like staying in a mountain cabin, for any family.

Great views

Property was well kept, nicely appointed, and the owners were easy to reach and responded very quickly. We loved sitting out on the deck and enjoying the view. Thanks for letting my family stay here; we definitely made some memories.

We loved the house near the water. We had an Eagle just perched on the stones outside and lots of ducks and sea birds, one great heron. It was a quick drive to Juneau. The host gave excellent recommendations for hikes, dining, etc. I would stay there again.

Great Location, Great Unit

Clean and updated with a phenomenal view of downtown Juneau and 5 minutes away from everything you need. Cant ask for more, it was a great rental unit would rent it again.

Waterfront views

Watching the eagles fish on the channel while drinking coffee was a morning to remember. The house provided amazing views of the mountains as well.

This VRBO is amazing! We had a great time in Juneau- and also enjoyed watching the cruise ships in and out, and sitting by the bonfire taking it all in! You won’t regret this one!

Awesome cabin with easy access to Juneau

2 Families in Juneau for Ironman Alaska. Absolutely pristine cabin with every detail covered. Gorgeous view of downtown Juneau and cruise ships. To top it all off Hosts we’re extremely responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

Great Chalet

This chalet is located on the beach across Gastineau channel from Juneau. It has beautiful views of Mt. Juneau, cruise ships, float planes, salmon jumping, and the changing tides. It was a great place for a family get together, and making memories for the future. We had 4 grandchildren there, the youngest was 8, and they are already talking about going back. Loved the place.

Easy stay at a beautiful chalet

We loved it. The property was well equipped to handle our family of 5. Bedroom windows had good black-out curtains for the never truly dark Alaska summer, the kitchen has nice appliances and enough pots and pans to make cooking easy, and the windows overlooking the Juneau Straight were just stunning.

First trip to Alaska for my husband’s 50th birthday. Juneau is amazing and the house is in the perfect location. We saw eagles and a humpback whale off the deck. Everything was perfect

What an amazing place!

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful house in Juneau! The house was across the channel from the cruise ship dock and we got to watch the constant coming and going of those massive boats. The panoramic views of Mt Robert’s and Mt Juneau enticed me to hike both of them one out trip. Amazing views aside, the house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds and linens were comfortable and the kids enjoyed the access to the water for shell and sea glass hunting. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful Place

Our stay at the Mountain 'N Shores Chalet was amazing! The view of Gastineau Channel is constantly changing during high and low tides. We enjoyed the pair of eagles that meet each day during low tide and all of the other wild life on a daily basis. Watching the cruise ship come and go is also enjoyable to observe. Adam and Samantha are awesome hosts; communication was always open and responsive. The location is perfect, private, and very quiet. We can't say enough positives about our stay. Lovely home with a view

Our stay at the Mountain N' Shores Chalet was lovely. It truly is a "Mountain N' Shores" experience. The house sits on the shore of the channel and the view of the water and mountains from the living room is so beautiful. Sitting out on the deck on sunny afternoons was also a treat. The house had everything we needed and I would definetly stay here again on another visit to Juneau. One thing to note is there are quite a few stairs from the road down to the house. It was fine for our family but just something to be aware of. A great stay overall!
