Ny udendørs grill og ekspansiv dæk med udendørs spisebord og komfortable siddepladser bidrager til en uforglemmelig ferie. Tre soveværelser, alle med fin størrelse TV, WIFI, tre fulde bade, fuldt udstyret køkken med nye marmor tællere, vaskemaskine / tørretumbler - du vil føle sig hjemme her. Dette hus sover komfortabelt otte personer. Ingen rygning og ingen kæledyr, og GOLF CART INGEN INGÅET.

Perfect for our family

My family had a great week! We loved the location and the short walk to the beach. The rental was clean with everything we needed. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful home

The house was just as described. It has everything you would need and more. We will definitely be back in the future! It is literally steps from the beach and so spacious!!

We had a wonderful week! It was just the reset my family needed. Beach, bbq, and lots of activities for the kiddos - what more could you want? :)

Good location

Bring your own towels. One towel and one wash cloth was furnished for each guest for the entire week. Needless to say, a lot of valuable vacation time was lost doing laundry.

Family Vacation

Great property with an AMAZING deck! Overall, we were happy with our stay and would rent this place again! We'd give it 4.25 stars for the following reasons: When we arrived, the upstairs level was clean but the downstairs level was not, which was surprising. Specifically, the downstairs bathroom was disgusting (perhaps the cleaning crew forgot that room). Additionally, the shower in the Master Bedroom doesn't drain properly, and the whole house shakes sporadically (day and night). However, the beds are extremely comfortable and the linens provided are high quality. The host allowed us into the home early and was very responsive. Again, the deck is incredible! You can't beat the location, either -- we were literally a 30 second walk from the closest beach access. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book this house again!

Family stay

Overall everything was great. Fully stocked beyond expectations (although no dishwasher pods, but we didn't expect them anyway). Location is easy and less traffic on that last row, thank goodness. Since on the border of surfside beach, just walk 20 feet south from edge of ocean lakes and you can set up a tent on the beach. A lot of the doors don't close or lock properly, not a problem, just an FYI. The filter on vent along stairwell in dire need of replacing and dusting--but it's end of season,so is probably on to do list. Did not see a linen bag as noted on check out instructions. Notes to help hosts (but didn't bother us): Shower head in bathroom off two bed room needs to replaced or fixed---we ran like a hose because spray option on any setting sprayed every which way rather than down into shower area; Master shower faucet handle and toilet seat both appear to be broken or need fixing/tightening. The locked closet door in kitchen mysteriously popped open midway through the week, so that lock as well doesn't seem to actually work either. Also, the cleaners apparently missed the stairs when cleaning before our arrival. Again, nothing that affected our enjoyment, just stuff I would want to know as owner. Thanks for a great stay. Loved the check in and out process, so easy.

Family Summer Vacation

The house was beautiful and literally had everything stocked that I could ask for. The decks/balconies were great for having various places to go for the teens in the group. Very close to beach and she also had beech chairs available! We would love to stay again.

We had an wonderful vacation at Oceanlakes in a wonderful beach house! Short walk to the beach and nice ocean views! House was clean and well stocked for our week away from home!

Beautiful home close the beach

This beautiful house was super close to the beach with everything we could have needed. Tons of beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Clean and comfortable just as listed stated. The campground itself is busy but the street and location of the house is quieter. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect

We rented this home fo a family reunion, it was perfect. The distance to the beach, the views, each bedroom had its own bathroom and the living area was a great size. This home is well kept and decorated very nicely for the beach. We were all very comfortable. For the deck, to say it is awesome, over the top, the absolute best is putting it mildly. From our morning coffee to evening conversation it couldn't get any better. Thank you Maggie for sharing your home.

Ocean Lakes 2021

The property was nicely located close to the beach. We enjoyed the short walk and view from both front and back decks. The property was clean and mostly as expected. We were disappointed in noticing that the grill was very dirty and was not usable during our stay. I would recommend having a professional clean this for further use of guests.

Cute little house! Several patios off 2/3 bedrooms and living room. Spacious. Nice that each bedroom had a bathroom off of it. Maggie provides beach equipment. Short walk to the beach!

Outstanding!

This was our first trip to Ocean Lakes and we had a blast, as there is a lot to do for the entire family. The only problem we had is that we didn't want to leave, because we were having so much fun. The house: the front deck is ideal for morning coffee, breakfast, and planning the day. The back deck is huge and perfect for entertaining, watching your favorite show on an outdoor TV (we watched college football), or playing games. There is a private deck off of the master bedroom that's welcomes a private conversation or a good book. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for creating your favorite meals. The Beach: maybe a 1 minute walk from the house (if that)! We stayed Labor Day weekend, so it was a little crowded, but not obnoxious. The best words I'd use is relaxing and family friendly. The Community: huge, relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, it had a New Orleans/Charleston look and feel (without the wild partying vibe). There is plenty to do for the whole family, including a water park and plenty of beach related activities. If you are thinking about staying, I'd strongly encourage you to get a golf cart and simply enjoy cruising abound the community, exploring things to do, very relaxing. Owners: the owners of this house were awesome and very responsive. Convenience: if you forgot something at home or need additional provisions, there is a Walmart across the street from the community (about 5 minutes from door to door). Overall, if you are looking for a quality family retreat, I'd highly recommend you rent this house, and plan for an awesome vacation within the Ocean Lakes community.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at Maggie’s house. Maggie was so so easy to work with and made the whole experience pleasant. She had everything you need, including all the beach equipment which was nice. The house is amazing with a front deck that gives views of the ocean, a wonderful large deck on the back and an incredible balcony retreat upstairs. Just a short walk to the beach. I definitely recommend her place.

Comfortable and great location

We enjoyed the home very much! It was spacious, comfortable beds and seating, love the deck and views of the beach, best of all the ease of access to the beach! We would definitely stay here again. If we had one wish it would be that the golf cart was included with the house.

Excellent Vacation Home!

Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed this vacation home! It was absolutely perfect for my family! We all had our own bedroom and bathroom, which is wonderful since I usually get stuck on a sofa bed. The kitchen was well equipped and met our needs; we cooked all our meals except for one. The outdoor deck area in the back was perfect for eating and for playing cards. There’s a television set out there, too, but we didn’t use it. The closeness to the beach was a huge plus for us. We walked to the beach and pulled a wagon with our beach stuff. My family and I highly recommend this property if you’re staying at Ocean Lakes. We all agreed that we would rent it again! Maggie, the owner, was great about answering all my questions, too!

BEST OL RENTAL for 8 ppl!!

From start to finish Maggie made the process easy with her communication and updates! As long as she rents it, this will be our go to spot! Home location was AMAZING! When people couldn’t find golf cart parking for the beach, we didn’t have to worry about parking because our 1 minute walk made it so easy to go back and forth to the beach! The big back deck made hanging out and cooking a breeze! Sand dollar is a quiet street so you don’t have to worry about the craziness all night and I felt safe having my 2 young boys ride their bikes up and down the street! I do not have one negative thing I could possibly say about this rental! We had all ages with us from grandmas, adults, teens down to my 3 year older and with 8 people we had plenty of room and all enjoyed this rental! Don’t think twice and book 1205!

We love the proximity to the beach and the wide open deck space (much larger than most other homes at Ocean Lakes). Never a dull moment at Ocean Lakes Campground -- always something to do and fun activities on the calendar!

Our house has one of the largest outdoor deck space in Ocean Lakes, included two covered deck areas (which comes in handy when it is HOT!). We are located at a quieter end of Ocean Lakes (actually the very last block before entering Surfside), which is great because all of the excitement is just a 15 minute walk or short golf cart ride away.
