This was a great place to stay for a golf trip with the guys. We loved the big dining area and outdoor space. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room. A solid and affordable option in Black Butte Ranch.

We really liked the house. Very comfortable for our group. My only criticism- It definitely needs a new dishwasher and a few more cooking utensils and in a perfect world - a garage fridge.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A very nice, except NO HEAT. We could not adjust the temp. We were very cold inside. It was very hot outside. That is not fun. The place was very comfortable, but the temp. was a major source of discomfort. I would recommend it, if the heat problem was resolved.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We started out poorly since the housekeeping staff did not come to clean house. We didn’t checkin until about 5:00 to a very dirty house. So disappointing. We wasted our 1st afternoon/evening since no beds had been made, laundry not done, bathroom & kitchen dirty, no working lightbulb in deck area, & a broken faucet knob in tub/shower. Home needed a lot of improvements.

Functional house in great neighborhood

This house is in a great location. It's quiet and great to be near the golf course. The fact that they allow a dog was the main selling point for us. We loved the wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi. And so nice to have kleenex available in almost every room! The kitchen is a little dated with the drawers a little hard to open, but it was totally functional. We'd definitely go again in the summer given it's closeness to paths, etc.

Nice location

The house is in a quiet area near the golf course. There was plenty of space for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. The house was not as clean as I would have hoped for. Dusty and back bedroom had stuff on the carpet, there was some dried food on the stove, and it did not look like the 1/2 bath had been cleaned, but we vacuumed and cleaned a bit and it worked fine for our needs. It had all the necessities we needed. I would suggest updating the cushions on the patio furniture, as they are quite thin and hard.

Thank you for your review and hope you had a nice stay. I do not agree with the comments of cleaning. We maintain a high level of cleaning with check off sheet to not miss anything. And also have an auditor to walk the house before guest come in. There would not have been any "food" on stove not a bathroom not clean. -David Ransom Director

Black Butte Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though the house was in a great location and accommodated our 2 families very, the house was not clean when we arrived. You could literally draw your name in the dust under one of the couches. We needed to take the time to clean all of the surfaces (tables, book shelves, etc) which was not something we expected that we would need to do. I reached out to Black Butte Realty regarding what accommodation they would provide to us for the time we needed to take to clean the house and we never heard back from them. It's beyond ridiculous that we would have to pay a cleaning fee when the house wasn't clean when we arrived.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 13. okt. 2021
Hello Thomas, This is unbelievable. We would have reached out to you immediately and sent a housekeeper right away if we had been notified of less than ideal housekeeping. No one in our office spoke to you and we looked through all of our messages and there is none from you. The house was cleaned before you arrived by a very competent and trustworthy housekeeper, and opened/readied by a discriminating manager. We certainly cannot remedy a (perceived) problem if we don't know about it.

This place is AWFUL!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was extremely disappointing. The deck is old, dirty and desperately needs to be sealed and refinished. The outdoor furniture is basically unusable and should be replaced. It is all very old and dirty. Several chairs were broken. There were dead bugs in the window sills and some were found in one of the beds. A USED tampon was found underneath a bed. The table had dried on food stuck to it. The comforter on the queen bed had a large stain on one side. All the bedding was old and worn and should be replaced. The king bed was very very uncomfortable. We paid a premium price for this property and it was worth about half that price. The cabinets look like they're original and they don't function well. I asked for a partial refund but apparently there's no communication between the owner and property manager. We paid a Four Seasons price and got a Motel 6. Do not rent unless it's priced appropriately.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we stayed at this house, and it's really nice. It's clean, in a good location, and has a hot tub. I really appreciate that they have kleenex everywhere- key during the winter months! And I also appreciate that they don't use smell detergent for the laundry :-). My only negative on the house is that the kitchen is a bit dated in that the drawers are all a little wonky and falling apart.

Glaze Meadow 235 July 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was a great choice for our group of middle-aged golfers. The location can't be beat for access to the Glaze Meadow course (just across the road). We had six, each in their own beds, with plenty of living and dining space. The house was clean and mostly felt contemporary. Bits here and there felt dated, but the furniture was in great shape. Hot tub was clean and private. The stove worked fine, but was dated. The pots and pans were plentiful but not so organized. There were too many of the same type. All in all, a nice find.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a good location, a block from GM golf course and easy access to the bike trails. The house is bigger than it looks from the outside and the layout is good. The house was not very clean as our crawling baby had dirty knees and tops of her feet immediately upon arrival and we all wondered if the bed linen had been changed or just spritzed. For the amount of money, you shouldn't have to wonder. The furniture and cupboards are a bit worn, as is the paint. It's a nice house just needs a little TLC and a better house cleaner. An extra fridge in the garage would be great!
