Den komplette genopbygning af dette charmerende hjem er endelig færdig og klar til dit bel����gning. Tre soveværelser og 2 1/2 badeværelser giver en vidunderlig udsigt over vandet og et dæk ved vandet at dø for. To historier og 2.223 kvadratmeter charme og luksus. Gå direkte til billederne for denne fortegnelse, og du vil se et af de mest usædvanlige hjem på San Juan-øerne.

Dette hjem kan prale af et fuldt udstyret køkkenkøkken med stort gasområde og et fransk dør i rustfrit køleskab. Usædvanlige ting inkluderer en espressomaskine, bordplads for at se kokken på arbejdet. Opvaskemaskine, hyggelig afslappet spiseplads og til de mere formelle middage, siddepladser til otte. Der er også et 8-plads picnicbord på dækket til udendørs spisning.

Ovenpå er der to soveværelser til, et med en komfortabel queensize-seng og et andet med en dronning og to singler til familier. Der er et delt badeværelse mellem disse to soveværelser ovenpå. Dette hjem har også en dronning aerobed, der kan sættes op i stuen eller et af de ovenpå soveværelser til at rumme 9 gæster.

Den komplette genopbygning af dette hjem blev udført ved hjælp af meget af det originale træværk og viser skønheden i gammelt træ. Ingen vil blive skuffet over Juniper House.

This house was perfect for our family of 9 including 6 adults and 3 children. It was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The kids scrambled up and down the rock stairs to search for crabs and treasures among the rocks. The location is ideal and as mentioned in other reviews, the views can't be beat. All in all, it was the perfect house for a perfect week of family fun on Orcas Island.

Wow what a spot!! I brought my whole extended family here to celebrate my mom’s 75th and we had an incredible time, despite the rain. Incredible view no matter the weather, gorgeous and well stocked kitchen, clean rooms, no notes! We can’t wait to come back.

Eastsound, WA Family Summer Solstice Vaca! Juniper House

Fantastic location on the water and just a few minutes to Eastsound. Eagles, young & adults patrolling the cliffs and coves, ducks in formation, random Orcas, not to mention starfish, crabs and other wildlife kept kids and adults entertained. The house was comfortable, accommodating, and equipped for our family. An amazing time was had by all!

The location is amazing! The view is outstanding! The picture windows open to a view that is priceless! The home is close to town, even walkable. It couldn’t have been better. Waking up with a cup of coffee to watch the otters and eagles will forever stay in my mind. The house is nestled between trees, and opened to the rocked bay, making it feel secluded.The house was very clean and stocked with everything needed to make meals with the food we brought. Lotions and soaps were supplied in the kitchen and bathrooms. The owners provided all sorts of games. It was an amazing experience. We loved our experience, would definitely choose this location again!

Great home on Orcas Island

Great house in great shape. Nice layout. Perfect for a family. Home was in good shape and clean. Kitchen is well laid out and outfitted. Wonderful views out into the bay. Close to Eastsound, but felt separate (quiet). Final part of driveway is steep, but not a problem even in rain. We'd definitely stay here again.

perfect vacation home

This is a perfect vacation home. The location right on the water is absolutely beautiful. The home itself is very charming and comfortable with great views of the ocean from every room. My family of 5 with 3 kids ages 10 - 16 and a grandparent fit perfectly. I've stayed in many vacation homes both in the US and abroad and can confidently say this is one of the best homes I've ever stayed in. We had never been to Orcas Island and are so glad we visited because it is a magical place. We would definitely come back to this house and Orcas again.

Easter on the water

This home is a Gem. It's just as pretty in person as it is in the photos. Very clean and well cared for. It's spacious and supplied with everything you would need. Such a charming home that is quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. What a beautiful view! I would absolutely return.

Beautiful location!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay on Orcas. The house is very cozy and we felt at home immediately. We woke up to a family of otters out front the first day and saw the aurora borealis the second night! A major bonus for me was that there were no strong cleaning scents or perfume smell on linens (I’ve had issues with this at other rentals). The driveway is quite steep but we had still no issue getting up and down whether driving or walking (we just had one car).

This beautiful property was clean and well-stocked with what we needed. Our favorite part was the unbeatable views of the water from every room. Future guests should know that the driveway is downhill. Our car got stuck on a rainy morning trying to go uphill out of the driveway, and we missed our ferry. The property manager was helpful in connecting us with the local towing company though and it may be helpful to have their number on hand in case you need help getting out.

Juniper House is idyllic!! We were a group of five adults. Everyone had a very comfy bed and I mean comfy, right down to the pillows and extra lightweight blankets. The towels are bright white, clean and fluffy. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you may need. We loved it so much we ate most of our meals in. Now let’s talk about the view….fantastic!! Get up early to see the sun rise over the smooth water. I got some incredible photos! It was nice to have a washer and dryer as we had been traveling. It was quiet and private. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for an awesome retreat. You will not be disappointed and I’m pretty picky having run a professional cleaning company and a VRBO. Thank you!!!

The view is an absolute showstopper for this house. Jaw dropping gorgeous. House was clean and well appointed. Very easy to get into town. The kids loved playing on the rocks and in the tide pools and watching sea otters, blue heron and catching baby crabs. Check in/out was easy. We wish there were blackout curtains given the late and early sun rise in the summer but a tiny thing amongst everything else being near perfect. We’d definitely want to return to this home in the future.

The view doesn't get any better!

We just back from the most relaxing family vacation and can’t speak highly enough of this home. From the moment you walk in, you will feel right at home. The views are stunning and you can enjoy them from almost every room in the house. The house is charming and very well appointed. Because it is an older home, the floors are a bit creaky and, as another reviewer mentioned, sound travels through them easily. It is perfectly located -- just a short walk to the darling town of Eastsound where you can grab groceries, coffee, dinner or pop into the cute boutiques. Check-in was seamless as was communication with the property management company. They even contacted us after checkout to let us know that we had left an item behind and we were able to stop by to get it before leaving the island. If you are going to Orcas Island, you couldn’t pick a better place.

Peaceful Eastsound Stay

The house is beautiful and peacefully located on the shores of Eastsound. It's convenient to town, but also feels quiet and isolated in the way you'd hope for it to be. Modern updates to the kitchen and bathrooms are a nice touch, and the back deck is spectacular. The host is responsive, the place was clean, and check-out procedures aren't too burdensome. Really nice stay.

The view was superb

We really enjoyed our ten days here at the Juniper House. There were four adults over 55 and we cooked meals in three of our evenings. With that said, if you plan to cook, and you use spices other than salt and pepper, make sure you bring them with you. There were adequate pots and pans and utensils though. The coffee maker requires a #4 cone, they are not provided. There was a handful of dishwasher tablets and adequate laundry detergent, so no need to bring/buy that. They provided a few kitchen trash bags, two rolls of paper towels and three toilet paper rolls per bathroom. For the four of us, the amount provided was just enough. There is a gas grill on front porch and it worked well. As far as things that were just a little irritating about the property; it was down a very steep hill and was a tad tricky parking our larger car. Also, the floors are original and they are very squeaky…..the main bedroom is directly under one of the guest bedrooms and we could hear whispering, talking, walking and snoring from above. So, be aware…..especially if traveling with others. It is NOT private. We were with very good friends so we just told them to keep it down - and that worked very well. Also, there is a fireplace (wood is NOT provided)…..wi-if is spotty at best but it was fine for us. The management company was superb. I only had to call twice (both times about our wi-fi) and both times they immediately responded. I was very impressed. Overall, we were very happy with the home and would stay again. The above mentioned things were just little surprises.

Paradise and peace

The house was all it promised. Perfectly located within walking distance of Eastsound with it's cool shops and restaurants, but remote enough to feel so isolated and immersed in nature. The house is pretty much right on the water and you can hardly tell there are any other houses around. All the rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked (except for coffee filters) with stuff, but not food. And you have to bring your own firewood and starters. The outside deck has been replaced I think from the picture but it's very sturdy and there's an added picnic table but no bench around the outer edge of the deck. One late afternoon we were watching the sunset color the sky when a little family of river otters skittered up the bank and then took refuge under the front deck. That was a rare treat to see. the bedrooms all seemed to have their own heating elements so even though it was pretty cold outside, we were very toasty in our rooms. the downstairs big bedoom is very luxurious. Even the towels were soft. One objection I have to the close out protocols was that they wanted me to make sure to wash and put away all the dishes and pots and pans. I can understand putting things in the dishwasher, but I would prefer to know that a professional crew had cleaned the kitchen in this era of Covid, before I arrived and not that I'm relying strictly on the health and compliance of the previous tennant. For all the money they charge for cleaning, you'd think that would be one of the services provided. I would gladly rent this place again. Maybe in the spring next time.

The view from every room in the house is incredible. It’s an easy walk to town. The house has every amenity you could want or need. We would definitely stay here again.
