Absolut Zen er et fantastisk feriehjem i et roligt område af den russiske flod. Kun få minutter fra centrum, men føles en million miles væk. ved absolutte zen. Fantastisk sted for dine 4 favoritfolk!

5 minutters kørsel til Johnsons strand i downtown Guerneville. 15 minutters gang til floden.

Dette nye sommerhus er nyligt og smagfuldt ombygget. Køkken, spisestue og levende ares blandes problemfrit. Perfekt til at indhente dine yndlingsfolk i verden! Spilnat? "Cheffing" ud sammen? Filmaften? Perfekt opsætning til alle!

Der er 2 meget rummelige soveværelser begge med døre, der fører til dækket og udenfor skoven.

Det store soveværelse er en suite med sin egen, privat bad.

Begge soveværelser har meget comfy queen senge.

Den udvendige dæk har liggestole, en gas grill og god udendørs belysning. Bordtennisbord i garagen!

We’re all checked out. We cannot figure out how to lock the back doors, even though we tried everything we could. There was a consistent beeping in the garage and it turned out to be the garage door opener on the ceiling was not plugged in. I assume after the painting, so we were able to get it plugged in, but it was beeping every minute which was kind of nerve-racking. So that’s fixed other than that. It was a wonderful space and we really loved it. Thank you.

Very comfortable house very conveniently located for activities in this beautiful area. The roads leading to the property are quite narrow, but the neighbors are practiced at making space for each other. Be sure to go slowly!

There were nice houses on either side of us on our side of the street. Across the street there was a dilapidated house falling down, and a parking space with couch and other household items. So that was a little funky, but the redwoods were everywhere and softened the view.

Cozy Guerneville Retreat

I could not have imagined a more pleasant stay than Absolute Zen! We wanted a quiet place near downtown Guerneville and this place was absolute perfection. From the moment we drove up to the redwoods towering over the cabin, we knew we were in for a treat. The accommodations were as described: 2 comfortable bedrooms, a wonderful outdoor space out back, a modern, spacious kitchen with everything we needed to cook our meals - and clean, so very clean! We are already looking at our calendars for another stay!

So peaceful in this crazy world

This house was very nice, seemingly very new, (my husband was convinced that we were the first people to stay there, which I knew we weren't). Very clean, very comfortable. Good layout, so many houses up there are kinda funky, with odd add ons, etc. I didn't know it was so off the beaten track, it's in the deep woods, which makes it a great stay if you want to sleep in. Open floor plan is nice,furniture is very comfortable. Grill located in the back, which is a bit awkward when bring your dinner in, as you can either go along the side of the house, to the front door, or, go through the bedroom, lol. Not a deal breaker. The one thing that "impacted" our stay was a lack of a cutting board. I messaged the managers and they were more then helpful about rectifying the issue. we bought on at safeway, and they said they would reimburse us, but, we decided to keep it, and let them know that they will need to supply one for the next guests. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience, I told them, no worries, we survived. It was fine exchange.The game room was a really fun addition. The ice dispenser in the fridge is apparently possessed, lol, sometimes the ice get jammed, then flooded out, had a few I Love Lucy moments with that.all and all, this is a very nice place to stay, especially if you want to get away from it all.

Comfortable place in the woods

We enjoyed being under the redwoods in a quiet neighborhood. The beds and living room were comfortable, but furniture could use updating. The soaking tub was a highlight. Kitchen was nice. Showers were substandard, one did not drain. Management offered for maintenance to come but we did not want to wait, we were headed to the river. The management company should have taken care of that and not expected us to be there. Overall, the place worked okay for us but for that price I wouldn’t stay again unless they add a hot tub.

Zen as promised!

This property has beautiful outdoor grounds. From sipping coffee on the front porch to drinking wine on the back porch, you have everything you need to start and end your day right. There were lots of thoughtful touches in the home, such as welcome snacks and portable A/C units given the extremely high temps. The property management company was wonderful and very responsive. I had reached out prior to confirm coffee options and also during our stay for batteries needed for the kitchen garbage can. They were prompt and helpful in every way. I normally would not give 5 stars without 2 ply toilet paper but they deserve it. Everyone in our family said “give them 5 stars!” The kids rating was for the pool table, of course.

Great getaway location

Absolute Zen is comfortable, well-equipped house in a beautiful setting. The proximity to downtown Guerneville and to all that Sonoma has to offer is great, especially for the price. Highly recommend. I loved the quirky neighborhood that the house is in.

Peaceful Zen

The location and place was perfect. It's in the woods and completely peaceful, but right by the town. The house is well equipped and has everything you'd need. I'd definitely go again.

I'd suggest adding a couple of yoga mats as the lovely hardwood floors were just that - hard.Owner's guide to the property was thorough.

Comfortable Getaway in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was well-kempt and the ping pong and pool table were fun. The only thing that would have improved that would have been if there was a small space heater in the garage, as it was too cold to be down there and playing games for long. There were a couple of routine maintenance things that came up while we were staying there, and someone came promptly to take care of them. Other reviews had mentioned how close the other homes are, and that is accurate, the homes are really stacked in this neighborhood, but that didn't really bother us. There is an abandoned home across the drive from this one, that we affectionately named the "ghost house" and it was a bit of an eyesore.

Clean redwood retreat.

We had a great stay over 4th of July. The house was bigger than anticipated and had ample space for two couples and a dog. I wish there was a little bit more outdoor space, but the game room garage was a hit. The neighborhood is nice for walking and close proximity to the river and downtown Guernville.

Cute House

This house is super cute inside and out. The lower star rating for the listing on VRBO was for 2 reasons, the address of the property was incorrect and the photos of this property make it appear that there aren't close neighbors. There were 2 coffee pots at the house, neither worked. I moved them and it didn't appear the housekeepers had cleaned under the appliances. The property manager was very attentive and got us a new coffee maker within an hour. This house is very comfortable and I would recommend it. The neighborhood is interesting, it's a mix of a burnt out house across the street, some well maintained properties and some not so much. It was extremely quiet out there, you are in the middle of the redwoods. The drawback is getting to the house down a single lane road. If you are there for a few days you get used to it. The house has lots of natural light through all of the windows and very comfortable. They have done a nice job giving you the feel it is inviting and comfortable.

The central location allowed for easy drives to enjoy the redwood forests, coastal views, and wine tastings at the vineyards. Also close to several, quaint towns with awesome restaurants. The owners were very communicative and responsive to any of our questions or needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Tucked Away in the Redwoods

Beautiful place to hang out with friends and family. Location is perfect for wine tasting and outdoor cooking on the grill. We would book again.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We come up and rent a house in Guerneville every Summer, so it was nice to be here in the Spring without the crowds. The house was the perfect amount of space for the 4 of us plus our two dogs. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfy, the furniture and the kitchen/living room layout was very inviting. We cooked dinner both nights and enjoyed playing board games at the dining room table. The kitchen had everything we needed and even had a gas stove which is rare in Guerneville!We appreciated the welcome goodies and the clear directions/info/recommendations in the supplied binder. The roads around the house were great for walking the dogs and breathing in some fresh air surrounded by redwoods. You are very close to the main street of Guerneville (I think about a 6 min drive) and also if you want some ocean air that is a quick drive also(approx 20 min). We enjoyed visiting Jenner and walking the dogs at Goat Rock Beach (where they filmed the final scene of Goonies!)and stopping in Duncan Mills for some coffee and pastries. Russian River really is a magical place and this house was exactly what we needed for our weekend getaway. This is the perfect spot to come and unwind and enjoy all that wine country has to offer.

The house is situated in a gorgeous forest off the main road and we appreciated the quiet serenity of the surroundings and the grounding nature of all those redwoods. We enjoyed a hike in Armstrong Reserve and a stroll on the bluffs near Shell Beach. I love Guerneville's proximity to the ocean. Stace and the team at Wine Country to Coast Vacation Rentals were very responsive and helpful. Thanks for helping to make it a lovely getaway!
