Velkommen til North Pine Cottage! Vores BRAND NEW sommerhus åbner foråret 2019! Den åbne grundplan har et smukt køkken, spisestue og familieværelse med udsigt over smukke nordlige Long Lake! Vi rummer flere familier, der sover 14+. Vi har 2 master soveværelser i stueetagen, hver med deres eget private badeværelse. Det andet niveau har to køje værelser, sover 10 + og et opholdsområde. Kom og nyd 230 meter privat sandstrand, der er 2 til 3 meter sandbar, der går ud omkring 150 meter. Et meget flot niveau meget. Huset ligger 75 meter fra søbredden! Perfekt til sommernætter, der sidder ved floden ved søen. Vi er centralt beliggende mellem Brainerd og Nisswa for alle dine indkøbs- og underholdningsbehov. Bare pakk dine tasker og kom RELAX !!!

Cottage 1 hosted by Arby & Eric was amazing! It fit 6 adults & 4 kiddos under the age of 4 quite comfortably. The place was immaculate when we arrived. One of the nicest homes I have booked!!! The kitchen was well stocked, furniture/beds were very comfy. The kids loved swimming in the lake. Nice sandy bottom & shallow. Our kids said this place was an A and would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay!!

Our stay and the place were amazing! Note the lake is quite shallow, which wasn't mentioned when we asked about bringing a pontoon, but it worked out. There is a dock on the property that you cannot see from the house to the right, which we were not told about right away so we were originally a bit stressed out. Otherwise, everything was beautiful, clean, and furnished. The shallow beach area was perfect for the little ones and they played in the lake for hours! We highly recommend this place!! We had a wonderful family vacation!! As Grandparents, we would visit again with our adult kids and Grands! There is an upstairs set up perfect for kids including toys and games. They have beach toys. The place is beautiful and set up great for kids and adults to have an enjoyable vacation!

Family Vacation

Great house and lake lot for our annual family vacation. The room set up was perfect for adults and kids. The lake had some great sandbars for easy swimming! Would love to go back. Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Large beautiful, clean and spacious property. The hosts were excellent. They were quick to answer any questions. The large kitchen was well equipped with high end appliances. We loved playing in the lake with its sandy shallow bottom. It was great for young children. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. The lake is a great fishing lake.

Beautiful home on North Long Lake!

The home is designed with a wonderful open kitchen/living/dining area. The huge island in the kitchen was great for gathering, eating, and one night we had a really fun Bingo game there. We had a really fun week.

Lucked out with this incredible spot!!

This spot exceeded our expectations!! It was on such a beautiful lake, the house itself was updated, kitchen stocked, whole house was spotless, flat maintained lawn for yard games,!and all the beds were extremely comfortable. I cannot say enough great things about this property or the hosts! They were so communicative and kind. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very nice lakeside home. It was clean & provided everything we could want for our vacation at the lake. The lake was clear & had nice sandy beach area for children to play & enjoy. North Pine Cottage was amazing!! The pictures do not even capture all the beauty of the property. Stunning inside and out. Our family had such a wonderful vacation and didn’t want to leave. Arby and Eric were wonderful to work with. We rented both the cottage and the guesthouse, and would highly recommend it. Both cottages are well supplied and very well maintained. The yard is beautiful and we used the fire pit most evenings after a day on the water. I highly recommend North Pine Cottage.

The entire house and property were pristine. We weren't able to enjoy it all as much as we wanted to because we were in town for work and worked long hours but we enjoyed it while we were there.

Aug 2024 Family Vacation

This was an absolutely beautiful and extremely clean lake home. Several family rooms and two floors to spread out in. Awesome large kitchen with plenty of nice dishes, pots and pans, and seating. King bed in master bedroom not a queen as stated in website, and this was nice! Nice front loader washer and dryer. Please note the dock shown in the website picture is for the home next door.

Such a great place!!

Even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures. Equipped with everything we needed. Big and well maintained grounds. There were so many things to use for lake fun for ages toddlers to adults. There were so many welcoming spaces where you could be alone or with others. Kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes, flatware, utensils, pots, pans, appliances, etc. we saw many beautiful birds, ducks and even a doe with her 2 fawns in the back yard. We hope to come back another summer!

Err on the side of caution.

I pulled the sheets back to got to bed our first night there and I immediately noticed the sheets and mattress pad had blood stains!!! I stripped the bed. This is not BS ask the owner she came the next day and changed the bedclothes out. Otherwise the cleanliness of the household was great. The owner also demanded that they keep our security deposit for various things. We had four kids under 10 so yes there were some food related mishaps, go figure. We were also accused of other stains and such that were there when we arrived. My recommendation with this owner is to do a full and complete inspection of the property and amenities before you truly settle in. Report what you find immediately. Err on the side of caution. While the owner never said anything about the pontoon if you rent it ask for specific instructions as to how to clean it after use. I didn't expect to be "help", but apparently I was. This also goes for the kayaks/paddle boards/canoe. Even though I hosed each down, top and bottom, I was dinged for them being a mess. Last thing...super shallow water out to several hundred feet. If you have adults who want to fish this is not the lake for that.

We hope this review does not deter anyone from staying in our family’s home. We take pride in our home and your family’s stay in it; from the cleanliness, available amenities, and ensuring we are available via phone or in-person to assist you to create the best stay possible. Throughout the years of utilizing VRBO to share our home, we have had nothing but positive feedback and many recurring guests. Unfortunately, not every guest has the best intentions when utilizing VRBO. To address the statements in this review I would like to say: We personally clean the home between each stay (this includes everything from the bedding to the little details throughout the home/outdoors). I personally inspect, wash, dry, and remake each bed. So a fresh blood stain is not something I would allow when freshly making a bed. To be completely honest, we have never dealt with a mess quite like what we encountered after these guests. This is the first time we have ever kept a security deposit. From stains, to dirt, to ruined furniture, and complete disrespect to our home. To all guests looking to stay with us, we hope you find insight of our home in our photos, description, and the reviews from the families who have stayed with us multiple times over the years. -Eric and Arby Popp

This property is amazing when staying with multiple families. Our dance center was in town for a week long dance competition. This house was great for 4 families to share. Mid week we rented the guest house for an additional 2 families in our group. The team bonding and fun was amazing, something we wouldn’t have gotten to do at a hotel!

My family rent this beautiful property over the Thanksgiving weekend. The property was amazing! Very well maintained, very clean and the owners were very accommodating! Definitely worth every penny! This property is definitely on your list to rent again!

Beautiful Cabin on North Long Lake

We had a fantastic time. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable at the same time. We had a wide range of ages staying at the cabin and the 4 bedrooms/ bunk rooms accommodated everyone. There are plenty of games and recreational items to satisfy all ages. The hosts were great. They were very flexible with their pontoon rental-which we used for several days. We highly recommend this cabin. It is one of those rare properties where you have plenty of space without other cabins right on top of you. We’ll definitely rent again the next time we are in northern Minnesota. Thanks for the use of such a great place!
