Happy new year

We had a great stay at this property. The cabin has some great common areas to catch up with friends and family. Would recommend and is a short drive from the DC suburbs.

Amazing Home for Family Visit

Stayed here for my husband's USMC OSC graduation with the family. Home is beautiful, property is well maintained and the hot tub is exceptionally clean. Lots of amenities for kids and adults alike. Highly recommend!

Comfortable log cabin

Plenty of room for our group of 6 (and easily able to accommodate more). Well - provisioned kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. This was a great choice for a 5-day stay for the wedding of our son at nearby Great Marsh Estate.

Awesome cabin!

We rented Kelly's cabin with friends last weekend while in the area for a wedding. The spacious accommodations provided plenty of room for our large group. Every room was modern and clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was truly impressive. Having four queen beds in the loft area was ideal, and based on other properties we looked at in the area, pretty tough to find anywhere else. We appreciated all of the amenities provided - plenty of towels and linens, kitchen appliances and tools, and even a gift basket with snacks upon arrival. The cabin is set well off the road and surrounded by trees, so you feel like you're away from it all. We really enjoyed our evenings by the fire pit. We can't recommend this property highly enough, and we're already talking about coming back for a second stay.

Beautiful cabin, that is still getting upgrades.

This was a beautiful cabin! Kelly was so easy to work with and responded to any of my questions quickly. She had a nice welcome package waiting for us. The kitchen had the most supplies that I have seen at any cabin. We have stayed at quite a few across Virginia and this kitchen had everything I needed and more. It’s a cabin outside with a modern inside, they are still making improvements but what they have know is amazing. Their currently wasn’t a hot tub but their will be in the future. The walk-in rain shower in the master bedroom is a nice feature that no other cabin has. We will definitely stay here again if ever coming back to the area.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Stayed at this lovely cabin for 2 evenings with friends during a very warm weekend in October. From the minute we walked in, we were so impressed. It was perfect for us, and could see a much larger group being comfortable there too. The kitchen was modern. had literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need. We have stayed in a lot of cabins and these owners have gone above and beyond. Spices, foil, zip locks, popcorn, handsoaps, trash bags, coffee, filters.....The welcome basket was thoughtful, lots of snacks and a nice thank you note from the owners. We enjoyed using the charcoal grill, I think we were the 1st. Charcoal was even provided, how nice was that? The brand new hot tub was awesome, and we made use of the fire pit both nites. We found the beds to be very comfortable, all of the decor very tasteful. We unfortunately had an issue with the nest thermostat, ended up having to call Kelly, who promptly called a company to come out. It wasn't a problem that could quickly be fixed, so we went without AC, but the box fans helped a lot. Kelly offered a partial refund for the inconvenience, which we thought was incredibly nice. Hope to get a group together and go back as soon as we can. There are so many wineries and breweries in the area, lots to do, and yet the cabin is secluded and very private. Thank you again for a great weekend!

Your cabin helped our family feel at home!

We rented your cabin for family to stay at while they attended our wedding. We were pleased with the house and how spacious it was.

Secluded cabin

Cabin location was perfect for family get together. Was a decent ride to Quantico graduation about 45 minutes. One morning we had extremely bad fog so took about an hour. We stayed on main roads . Cabin is secluded but there is plenty of shopping and small towns with restaurants within ten minutes and on the drive from 95. Host left everything u need for your stay to make u feel at home. Place was clean could have been just a bit cleaner ,just needs a good spring cleaning to knock off old cobwebs . But we just had the expected insects for this time a year and was far less then would be expected. We will probably stay at this location again because you seldon finds a host who is this responsive to questions and makes your stay this pleasurable .

Cabin was great

Property was exactly as advertised. It was great to have a very secluded feel but also be very close to stores if we need anything. Kitchen is great for bigger meals. Beds are very comfortable.

Cabin Getaway

We travelled to the cabin to visit family in the Lake Manssas area. Rustic cabin with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Very cool spot to go and unplug and spend time with family. House was well stocked with games and kitchen supplies. Only put 4 for cleanliness because of some spider webs but probably difficult to keep up as there are a lot of bugs in Virginia.

Girls Getaway

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend. The cabin has plenty of sleeping spaces, perfect for a group. The location allowed for privacy, but was also close to Warrenton for an outing to a brewery and walk along the greenway trail. The property was clean and well equipped.

Upscale rustic! This Cabin in the Woods is great!

Had a wonderful time with my friends for a long overdue get together. The cabin is made of actual logs. It’s got such a cool interior, my only complained is the harsh lighting on the first floor because it’s so dark from all the dark wood. Other than that, the amenities were great, fire pit and hot tub (even though we didn’t actually use the hot tub while we were there), It was still nice that it was available. I would highly recommend this rental to large families for a nice getaway in the woods. There’s plenty of space inside so you won’t feel like you’re stepping on top of each other constantly.

Virginia Lodge

Lovely location with lush woods surrounding. Well appointed kitchen, bathrooms recently renovated with high end fixtures. Sleeping for many people and blankets to use.

Wonderful cabin!

2 families met up here for a long weekend- with 6 kids ranging in age 11-17 and 4 adults. There was plenty of space! The cabin layout is awesome and the decorating felt modern and clean. The kids big bunk room upstairs was perfect for our kids. The weather was terrible, but we had a great time cooking, having foosball tournaments, beating the kids at board games by the fire, and having dance parties in the dining area. The hot tub was hot and clean for us. The area around the house was scenic and there is a pond and creek just behind the cabin to walk to (but it was muddy for us- just the weather’s fault). There’s also some gravestones near the house that spooked the kids but shows what an interesting property this is. Thank you for having us! We loved it!

Excellent getaway for a girls weekend

The property was extremely well stocked, very clean, and all beds were very comfortable! Such a cozy little getaway, with a great location, close to breweries and wineries. Would definitely rent again!!!

No detail left undone! Fully stocked!

The beds and pillows are plentiful and comfortable! This is how I judge a property! Obviously this is someone’s home because there were so many details to show the home had been lived in like lighting and hooks for towels and all the stock of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. I highly recommend this space. It is completely private. The hot tub and fireplace are awesome! You can hear airplanes and other people in the house because floors are very thin so bring earplugs.

Local escape

This was the perfect location for a groomsmen weekend and would work just as well for a group of friends. Close to DC but far enough away to be in a different world. Great customer service!

Great getaway!

We had a nice little gathering of 7 friends and love this cabin! It was remote which was exactly what we were hoping for. The weather was damp, but we enjoyed time on the porch and the firepit was fun for s’mores and more. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for all our cooking needs. I would return in a heartbeat. Kelly was extremely responsive... especially when we locked ourselves out! Oof!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful and it’s definitely even nicer than in the pictures. Everything is updated and it really has everything you need. The kitchen was the most stocked I have ever seen in a rental house. Kelly was extremely responsive and we all thoroughly enjoyed this home. Thank you!

Log Cabin fun!

We loved the Bealeton log cabin. The photos don't do it justice. The cabin is spacious and thoughtfully equipped and decorated with high end bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The kitchen is new and offers all the supplies for cooking, grilling, baking, dining, etc. I especially appreciated the cleanliness inside the drawers and cabinets (many other rentals overlook these hidden areas). We enjoyed the dining room and also enjoyed the larger dinner table on the outdoor porch with outdoor lighting (fun!). The firepit was a big success too. The loft with 4 queen beds was so much fun for the kids. The bedroom linens and decor are lovely and it is clear the owner has put thought into creating that true "log cabin" experience. Our family of 9 really enjoyed the stay!

Awesome Family Thanksgiving

Our entire family enjoyed Kelly’s place, it was more than we expected. Three king bedrooms were perfect for the parents and the loft was great for the cousins, 16, 23 and two 25 year olds. We loved the fire place, fire pit, hot tub and extremely well stocked kitchen. The open concept was great for us all to be together, especially all to be able to sit at the same table for meals. It was great that the TV was in the basement and not in the main living area, it gave us that time to talk, play games, listen to music, laugh like crazy and make some fantastic memories. We were so thrilled that this was the cabin we chose.

So relaxing

The cabin was truly amazing laid out so well, the furniture and soft furnishings were of the highest quality. Everything was taken care of with fresh linen and clean living areas. The hot tub was a wonderful addition to the facilities which really made for a relaxing evening followed by and open fire out on the front gravel area. Thank you for making the last few days of our trip so wonderful and so many memories to take back to our respective homes.

We found our "Home for the Holidays"

We rented Kelly’s cabin for our 4th annual pre-holiday getaway and have been trying to find our "home for the holidays". Without question, this is it! Everything about the cabin was wonderful and made us feel so welcome. We were so excited when we pulled up to see the outdoor Christmas lights and the beautiful Christmas tree and stockings from the front window...we felt like we were home. The welcome basket left for us was so thoughtful and enjoyed by everyone. The home is so cozy and beautifully decorated. We were blown away at how well stocked everything was as well...the kitchen has everything you can think of and then some. They even provided all of the firewood for the fireplace. It made our stay that much more enjoyable and we cannot wait to return next year! The location is great too. Only about 20 minutes from town which is adorable...great little shops and restaurants and a wonderful Christmas parade. You really can't ask for more. Kelly was wonderful as well. Easy to communicate with, very responsive and friendly. Just a wonderful experience!
