Tabby House ligger i et af Follys mest velholdte hemmelige kvarterer. Kvarteret er gemt stille og roligt på en Grand Oak-foret gade væk fra de travle veje, men alligevel beliggende perfekt ved Folly River og så tæt på stranden. Dette hus er en destination for dem, der leder efter klassisk Folly Beach.

Tabby House er et smukt bygget hjem med 6 soveværelser og 5. 5 bade. Hjemmet bruger en omvendt plantegning med 5 soveværelser og en mindre stue nedenunder og den store stue, spiseplads, køkken og master suite er placeret ovenpå. Hjemmet har høje ende finish og trægulve overalt!

Vi foreslår at leje en golfvogn eller cykler for at udforske øen. Eller tag din egen båd eller lej en af en lokal virksomhed! Hjemmet har en privat dybt vand dock. Erfarne sejlere kan navigere i floden til Morris Island fyrtårn samt andre berømte Charleston vartegn destinationer. Vi kan næsten garantere, at du vil se delfiner! Og glem ikke at se solnedgangen, da hjemmet har nogle af de mest fantastiske solnedgangsvisninger omkring.

Excellent Home

This house was the best we have booked at Folly in many years. Very clean and great communication from owners/property managers. We are already planning next year's trip and will book this home if available.

Perfect Folly Beach House

This house is absolutely stunning and so is the location. A short walk to the beach and the most beautiful intercostal location you can imagine. Absolutely everything about this house is A++. We will definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay. Home is very large and the view is spectacular. Nice having an elevator so my aging dog didn’t have to do the stairs.

Great Views

We really enjoyed this house! 10 people stayed and we had plenty of room. The layout is very open without a lot of clutter from decor. Kitchen was also well stocked for cooking every night. We plan to come back!

Wonderful Stay on River Side of Folly

We had a group of a few families with 10/11 year old daughters. We found the home to be very well laid and out and the kitchen and great room spectacularly set viewing out over the river and marshes. The back dock was great for putting in paddleboards and kayaks and the beach was only a 6-7 minute walk. We would come back here anytime!

Gorgeous home with stunning views

Our entire group loved every minute of our stay at the Tabby House. The house is beautiful, with plenty of room for us all to spread out. The property managers were responsive and accommodating. We all agreed we want to come back next year!

Great stay!

Very clean large rooms with TVs and bathrooms. Nice dock. We brought our fishing boat, but found out the best fishing was right off the dock! One of the dishwashers and both clothes dryers are in need of repair...but the rental agency was quick to respond to get it repaired. Great private location! We will come stay again!

Great house & location

We were six girlfriends spending our 45th first weekend of December together. Being on the intracoastal waterway is so peaceful and the beach is just steps away. We took advantage of the VayK rental bikes and next time plan to fish at the end of the dock. Folly Beach, Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms are all charming.

Large house with everything you need

Located on the more secluded side of Folly Beach, you really don't need to leave this house to enjoy yourself. Great kitchen and common space to gather in, although everyone will eventually migrate to the deck. Easy walk to the beach. Could have benefited from some sort of sound system.

Overall, the property was a great place to stay. It had a great view and plenty of space for people to stay. A suggestion would be to provide a little more household items. It didn’t make complete sense to buy kitchen/bathroom towels. With that, still would recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Nice House - Great View

The house was nice, the view was even better. Being on the water was wonderful to wake up to every morning. The house itself is on a dead end court which was nice and private. The walk to the beach was not bad at all even with a toddler and lots of beach equipment. The pool is just the right size for a smaller group who doesn't want to swim laps and the access to the dock was optimal. Would recommend for anyone who is looking to stay in Folley Beach.

Spacious, quiet, beautiful home, beautiful view.

This is the 2nd year that five old girlfriends and I rented this lovely home. It’s the perfect place for a large family or just six ppl who want their own space. The main floor, kitchen, and porch are perfect for everything else.

We paid for the vacation insurance due to booking during hurricane season, called 2 days prior because a hurricane was named and was heading that way to just check the process and was told unless the city evacuates, the property would be ready. Luckily the weather turned however the property was not prepared for even heavy rain. The first night we stayed, it rained and the house has leaks that have not been addressed, water was pouring inside on one of the couches, in from above the sliding doors to the back deck, and made its way to the bottom floor smoke detector and set it off. So at close to midnight we had a fire drill because of the lack of repairs done to the property. Several outlets throughout the home sparked when you plugged in anything, so they had to send an electrician out during the stay to replace the couple that we noticed, but it surely needs a full check over. In general, the house is due for a ton of maintenance, upkeep, and a better cleaning.The pool filter was leaking so they just turned off the system while we were there. The beds were quite uncomfortable as noticed by all 3 families that stayed. But that could be personal preference. Overall, we were disappointed we paid quite a bit of money to stay at this property and were let down. The management team promised to credit us for 2 nights and for our golf cart rental which was nice but they shorted us a few hundred dollars on that credit. Thank you for sharing your feedback. While our rental agreement does not cover weather-related impacts, we issued a $3,470 refund, including your golf cart, as a goodwill gesture. All parties agreed and expressed appreciation at the time. It appears there was some confusion about VRBO’s separate service fee, which is paid directly to the platform and not retained by our company. Over the past year, the homeowner has invested over $40,000 in a full top-deck rebuild, new roof, and electrical upgrades to ensure the home is fully repaired and leak-free. Even with major improvements, unexpected issues can arise, though never from neglect. Our team responded promptly to every concern, including overnight calls, and provided what we believe was an exceptionally fair resolution. The pool filter has since been replaced, and two new HVAC systems with ductwork were recently installed for improved comfort and reliability. We respectfully disagree with any suggestion of neglect. Both our team and the homeowner remain deeply committed to maintaining the home to a high standard. Tabby House continues to host many repeat families each year and earns consistent 5-star reviews.

Great Week at Tabby House

1st time visitors to Folly. Property easily accommodated our extended family of 10 (3 generations, ages 14 to 88). Lots of gathering space but also plenty of space to spread out. The elevator was key for ensuring our most senior member could easily (and safely) come and go and allowed him full enjoyment of the property, inside and out. Beautiful, expansive views of the river and its wildlife. Amazing spot for sunrises and sunsets, all enjoyable from 2 levels of screened-in wraparound decks, the private dock, or even from the patio and plunge pool. Very quiet and removed from the busier part of town, which was a plus for us. Nearest beach access is just a few blocks away. If you require a section of beach with life guards, you’ll need to travel several more blocks closer to town or to the county park at the west end. There are no sidewalks except for the main shopping and restaurant area, so we used golf carts for quick and easy trips to the nearest beach and to town. For longer stays on the beach when kids wanted to swim and we had lots of chairs, coolers and umbrellas to tote, we opted to use the car and went to the county beach at the west end. Parking there was $15 for the day during the week. It seemed less crowded than the guarded beaches in the center of town and you can re-enter with no additional fee. Worth it to us in the heat with lots of beach stuff. The property management company was informative, friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. Wonderful week!

Family Vacation

This was the best place for my family. We were able to have enough space to get away from the family if needed and more than enough room for everyone to gather in the same area. This place was absolutely amazing. I only wish that the pots/ pans/ dishes/ and utensils were better and more organized and updated.

Best vacation house EVER

I always book our family vacation rentals at least a year in advance and to be perfectly, I couldn't remember why I selected the Tabby House last summer for this year's vacation destination. Maybe it was the boat dock, or the double screened in porches, or the super gourmet kitchen. But the property exceeded our expectations with every amenity. HUGE living areas and bedrooms, 2 dishwashers that accommodated our party of 10 adults, 2 refrigerators in the kitchen, a laundry room on each floor, an ELEVATOR, and the list goes on and on. The dock was perfect for our boat, the location was within an easy walk of the beach, there was a rental golf cart right at the house, and we even got a credit for VAYK beach gear. Greatest family vacation!!

We had a great time at the Tabby House. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen had all the cookware that we needed. The location was great. We had a wonderful time fishing off the dock and kayaking in the evenings. It was a short walk to the beach. The sunsets were gorgeous.

Away from the crowd on Folly

We had a great family vacation here. Beach in the morning, about a quarter mile walk, lunch, afternoon activities off folly in James Island/Charleston etc., kayaking and paddle boarding on the intercoastal waterway at night. House was great. Needs a few small items improved. Jacuzzi knob had duct tape on it. Toilets chains fell off the the flush handle more than once during the our stay. Other than that everything was great. Would definitely recommend!

We're so glad that y'all had a wonderful vacation with us! We'd love to have y'all come back and stay again! Update: The toilets have all been serviced and the master bath has had the handle replaced.
