House was very clean, well appointed (snacks, toiletries, kitchen supples, etc.), and very comfortable. We were in this remote area for a wedding and would definitely rent this property again. Very family friendly though we just had 2 couples staying for the weekend.

Beautiful

I haven't personally used vrbo ever, until this particular stay and I am just astounded by it. So easy and the location was so mesmerizing. I will definitely stay at this location again! It was so relaxing and so fun! The waterfall was an overall favorite. My children absolutely loved it and we played in the water so much!

This is a beautiful property. Well maintained and stocked with essentials. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful. Parking was a bit of a hassle (very steep),but managed. .

Lovely secluded cabin!

Very clean and as described. Decorated for the holidays and overall wonderful. Easy communication and welcome snacks. Would stay again and recommended. The only thing is the cabin is not close to anything (which may be a good thing).

Perfect location for the west side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Great location for a family trip, or friends wanting to ride the Dragon. Well stocked cabin; towels, hangers, high speed internet, big porch, outdoor fire pit, wild turkeys walking across the yard every morning. 12 minutes from 129 hub, quick access to the Dragon and Foothills Parkway. Then you can continue on to the Cherohala Skyway and Fontana Road/Moonshine 28. Lots of great riding or driving. From the cabin, it is a short drive to restaurants and groceries. I would recommend restaurants around Maryville; Blackhorse Pub Alcoa, Smoky Mountain Brewery, Calhoun’s, too many to list and for donuts, The Donut Palace.

Perfect

This was just what we needed. In town to lay my Mom to rest and spend time with family. This property used to be in our family and the new house honors the footprint, but keeps the "warm hug"! In addition, the thoughtful attention to detail when we were mentally focused elsewhere was very appreciated. Snacks and all the extras got us through until the Memorial Service was over and had a chance to breathe. Having such a comfortable place to come back to was great for all in our party. Hope to come back for another visit so we can just relax!

Lovely Mountain Cabin

This is a nice cabin with plenty of amenities. Everything you need is there. The host was very helpful with info and questions and was very quick to respond. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoons and evenings and listening to the creek. It had rained some off and on during our stay, so we did not walk through the yard to the waterfall due to the mud. We walked in the street to the waterfall, which is pretty busy and narrow. A stone pathway thru the yard would be nice. Also, we chose not to do a fire in the fire pit because the outdoor furniture at the pit was pretty dirty. We just chose not to mess with it. We also had to clean off the patio furniture on the porch before using it. It sits under the trees so it accumulates debris and dirt too. Not that big of a deal, but they should have the cleaning people make sure that stuff is clean too. Handheld showerheads and a shower door in the master shower (instead of shower curtain) would be a nice improvement. Otherwise, it was a great trip for the wedding we were attending just down the road. We would recommend this cabin.

Comfortable cabin

We had a great time at this house. Is was just enough room for all 6 of us. We loved the falls and stream as well as the bear sightings right in front of the house. We were safe inside.

Relaxation

Was very impressed with the property. Driveway was a little daring. Very much enjoyed our time their. The kitchen is stocked perfectly for cooking almost anything. Was so relaxing sitting out on the deck listening to the creek. The only drawback was the guy that came to mow the yard as we were sitting on the deck. He was blowing grass and dust at us. Had to go inside because one of our group has allergies. Smiths

Family summer vacation

Our stay was very nice… we enjoyed the house, the property and the waterfalls. Everything was very peaceful. There was a lot of driving to get to other places but we knew this prior to booking. What I wish I knew was how minimal the Wi-Fi was, that no streaming was available of Netflix..etc, the Direct Tv channels were also minimal…. I wish there had been a dvd for the main TV since that was really the only option for movie night of our choosing. I get that we are in the mountains and this is out of the owners control, but just wish it had stated the issues in the listing. Otherwise this is a great place to stay..all supplies were there along with some complementary groceries which was great!

Awesome Property!

The property was amazing with a stream running through the front yard and a waterfall down a short path from the back yard. The house was beautiful with a wraparound deck/porch. Inside was perfect for our family of 4. There were so many extras in the house when we arrived. There were snacks, juice, milk, cinnamon rolls and a bottle of wine waiting for us which saved me a trip to the store when we got there. This property was amazing & did not disappoint!

Time Away

We stayed for a week. Great home with very nice owners. Exactly as pictured. By far the best stocked home we have ever stayed at. They have thought of everything.

Great weekend getaway

What an amazing place to stay!! Everything we needed was there. The waterfalls and porch were our favorite. We grilled out with friends and built a fire for s’mores ❤️ Couldn’t ask for nicer folks to rent from Thanks !!!

Picturesque.

Can’t say enough great things about the property and house. Such a serene setting just like the pictures show creek and falls on property. The house was super nice and clean. Also it was stocked with pretty much anything we could’ve needed. We pretty much just slept there as we were out adventuring everyday. Cades Cove, Dollywood, Anakeesta. Although one day we stayed in to let the kids play in the creek and falls like they had been begging to do. We also enjoyed the mini arcade loaded with some old school classics, I think we all put a little time in on that thing! Although we never met the owners, Kristy was always there either on VRBO messages or text if I had questions. She also gave me some great tips on a place in Maryville to get coffee, Vienna Coffee. Even ran into a guy I graduated high school with there which was really cool too. I definitely want to go back and most likely will. Thanks again for letting us use your place, Kristy.

I am a married, working mom of 4 wonderful children. We lead very busy lives, but love to go to the waterfall house for a weekend get away. The kids love to play in the creeks and catch minnows and crawfish and we like to grill out by the fire-pit and relax.

The location and land are awesome! The waterfall is beautiful and the sound of rushing water is peaceful and relaxing. It is the perfect place to be around nature and recharge. This home is a brand new build.
