Nice stay for family trip to Yellowstone

The space at Bear Bungalow was great for our family of four adults and one teenager. Having a washer and dryer was beneficial. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was really nice. Some attention, however, needs to be given to a few areas (ie locks on some of the windows, a rug that has curled and is a major tripping hazard, broken and missing blinds). Would recommend staying here.

Great experience

We had a great experience! The place is very clean, organized and very homey. After a tiring day out, you come home to a relaxing place. Check in and check out was a breeze. Location is a plus, very close to Yellowstone National Park, close to supermarket and gas station. We will definitely recommend to friends and relatives.

Large space to fit two families, all amenities available with very convienient grocery and gas station at end of street. Bear warnings and prairie dog holes is normal for the area. Only discomfort was lack of AC which makes the place hot in the morning/afternoon. Would recommend.

The Bear Bungalow cabin was very nice. We filled every room and every bed. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, pots and pans. The cabin was beautifully clean. We also used the BBQ grill on the front porch. The area was nice, we saw a fox outside our cabin the morning we left. It was quiet and beautiful. Checkout was pretty simple requests such as strip the beds and put your sheets on them, put towels in laundry and load and run the dishwasher. I would highly recommend this cabin. Checkin was super easy as well. Also a new grocery store, within less than five minutes of the cabin, that has decent prices and is well stocked.

Broken toilet, couldn’t sleep half the time

One of the toilets is broken and makes loud noises throughout the night. The owner Ty doesn’t respond to messages. I had to go through Vrbo, talk with 4 different people for an hour to get them to contact Ty. He talked with me and didn’t sound surprised at the problem, so he knew about it. Ty said he will come by and fix it, but the bathroom kept making noise, disturbing our sleep. My husband tried to fix it. A guest shouldn’t have to fix a toilet,

Beware

The cabin is in a nice area, but has lots of issues. 1. Ceiling fans were filthy 2. Living room light and one bathroom Light was out. One bathroom light was constantly blinking. 3. Shade missing from one living room window 5. Rim around bottom of one bath tub is dirty. 6. Sofa and loveseat leather are on there last leg 7. Outdoor trash can was full when we arrived. When we were ready to leave, I called to see where they wanted us to put the trash and were told we had to bring it to the trash area down the road. We actually put the trash in the car and did what he asked. Didn’t want to lose my deposit. 8. The master bath had no shelves or cabinets to place anything. We kept the towels in the bedroom. 9. The sheets didn’t fit the bed. 10. Leak under kitchen sink 11. Master Bathroom has a crack about two inches on the bottom of the tub, so I’m sure water is going underneath I did like the way the rooms had a theme. It’s been well over a month since we stayed there and have not received our deposit. My phone call about that was not returned.

Loved our stay at Bear Bungalow

The Bear Bungalow was a wonderful place to stay after spending long days at Yellowstone Park and the surrounding area. House had great wifi which my kids appreciated. Small grocery store and gas station is only 3mins away and had everything we needed. We didn't use the fire pit since there was tall grass around it. The kitchen had everything we needed and loved having a washer and dryer. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Great cabin near Yellowstone

We had a wonderful time at Bear Bungalow. Convenient to Yellowstone NP (30 mins) and very spacious and clean accommodations. Would definitely recommend it to others

Great response time!

This was our second Christmas at this location. A smoke detector 12 ft up a wall started chirping at 10 pm on Christmas Day. Ty came right away with a ladder to replace the battery. Always a rapid response with any question or concern.

Perfect location and house

We stayed here for four days while we visited Yellowstone and it was wonderful! Extremely clean, great layout for a family and a fully stocked kitchen. There is a grocer down the street - so convenient. Beds were super comfy. Thank you, Ty for your amazing responsiveness.

Family Trip to Yellowstone

We had a wonderful time staying there and visiting Yellowstone. The cabin was very nice and had most things we needed. We couldn’t cook much because all the pots and pans had Teflon peeling off and I didn’t want to use those. Those need to be replaced. The garbage dumpster was hard to find but after asking some people, we found it. Overall, a nice and comfortable place to stay for if visiting Yellowstone With family.

Yellowstone Trip

This is a great property 30 minutes from Yellowstone's west entrance. It has all the amenities of home. We had 10 people and if you're going to cook big meals, consider bringing your own big pot and/or pan. But all other kitchen utensils and supplies were very adequate.

Idaho Getaway

We loved our stay. The home was so clean and equipped with everything we could have ever needed. The layout was perfect for our three families. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It was an easy, beautiful drive to Yellowstone and we all agreed we would stay here again.

Best place to stay!

This little cabin was the best place to stay if you are going to YEllowstone and the Tetons! Super clean and in a great neighborhood that’s tucked away in a little Forrest.

Ty’s cabin was exceptional. Well appointed with everything you could need for a great family vacation. Super clean and everything was well cared for and in great working order. Clean and comfortable beds and a great quiet location.
