Villa Gabriella er en eksklusiv ejendom gennemført i 2014 med stor vægt på detaljer i alle henseender. Afsondret blandt skoven over Nidri, tilbyder Villa Gabriella en virkelig betagende udsigt over den smukke østkyst i Lefkada over den lille badeby Nidri, ud til den dejlige Vliho-bugt og et væld af ioniske øer, herunder de privatejede prinsessøer, som består af Scorpios, Scorpidi, Madouri og Heloni. Tilbyder privatliv mens du nyder nem adgang til strande, vandsport, caféer og restauranter, Villa Gabriella er en luksus græsk villa oplevelse.

Inde hvert værelse afspejler vores livserfaringer. Føreren suite indfanger lidt af den kerne af Den Arabiske Golf, mens stueetagen dobbelt er inspireret af vores kærlighed til den vilde skønhed og store skyer i den sydafrikanske Veldt. Udenfor terrassen ved poolen giver mulighed for at nyde det Ioniske solskin midt dufte af Cypern træer og vilde urter. Den opvarmede (maj og begyndelsen af juni og slutningen af september og oktober) infinity-pool optimerer den fantastiske udsigt over Nidri, Skorpios og Meganissi med det græske fastland i horisonten omgivet af jordanske mosaikker af livets træ.

Lovely stay

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at villa Gabriella , 4 adults and 5 children, had an amazing time ! The villa was located high on a hill with outstanding views and a short drive into Nidri. The pool area and eating terrace were brilliant for 2 families and were well used! Jill and Jon who look after the property were wonderful providing knowledge of the local area, offered a babysitting service and made us some local baked treats😁 The area is amazing , beautiful Ionian Islands and it is worth hiring a boat to explore the surrounding islands. We would definately recommend this villa, and would advise to hire a 4x4 as the road leading up to the villa is unmade and we got stuck on it on one occasion because our hire car wasn't powerful enough. All in all a lovely family holiday

Thank you for your positive comments, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay at Villa Gabriella and had a lovely family holiday. Like a lot of Greek villas (especially those in tranquil locations with great views) we are up an unmade road and we're sorry you had a problem on one occasion. We do have the road compacted with a heavy road-roller ever other spring and that is scheduled for next spring before the 2020 season which will smooth it out nicely and make the drive simpler for another 18 months.

Faboulas villa stunning views and second to none facilities

Stayed at Villa Gabriella for our second week in the Nidri area in August 2017 and have to say that it is probably the best villa that we have had the pleasure to stay-in on our many trips to Greece. Our party was 5 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 15. The views from the villa during the day and the evening are stunning, its also well worth seeing in the sunrise in the early morning as well. Facilities in the villa are second to none, including cooking, entertainment, music, pool and the gardens. Its approx 10 mins drive to the nearest taverna (which is very good) and another 5 mins to Nidri and taxi's will bring you back for approx 10 euro's as well. I throughly recomend Villa Gabriella and would happially consider returning.

Villa Gabriella, near Nidri, Lefkada

Villa Gabriella was everything we hoped for, and then some! We enjoy our own company and space - there are only 2 of us, and we found it at Gabriella. Set in a stunning location in the hills above Nidri, providing serenity, seclusion and privacy. The views from the terraces include Meganissi, Skorpios and the mainland. Sunrise was spectacular and an early morning dip in the pool was usually taken. We were met by Lilias on arrival and shown around the villa and she also gave us some pointers as to places to visit, good restaurants, bars and the like. What a truly lovely place it is, with fixtures, fittings and appliances of the highest order. The welcome pack was exactly that - very welcome, especially the beer! It also included more than the usual bottle of wine and a few olives. Very well done! The villa was spotlessly clean and we felt like we were in someone's home rather than a rental villa, thanks to the owners decorations and furnishings. A car is essential of course and we also hired a small speedboat from Helen, Lilias' sister who operates from Nidri harbour - Trident Boats. We were able to visit the neighbouring islands and see Gabriella from the sea. We had been to Lefkada 6 years ago and usually don't go back to the same place however this was a truly unforgettable holiday which I would recommend without hesitation. Roger and Lindsey

Dream holliday !

Great & Perfect ! These words summarize the conditions in which we spent the holiday at Villa Gabiella. Great location, great villa, perfect conditions, and a magnificent view. Ian and Gill were very nice and always around but extremely discreet. We will return to this location with pleasure and with the feeling of "home".

Fantastic villa. Outstanding view.

Top-notch place, nestled in the quiet mountain above Nidri. Can’t go wrong here. Well-stocked and clean kitchen and bathrooms. Property managers available and responsive. Enjoy the view and the pool and hot-tub. Get the private chef to cook for you. Enioy the movie choices on the on-demand TV. Did I mention the view? Only lament is that we didn't spend even more time in the villa (Lefkada beaches and restaurants are so great!).

The best holiday villa I have ever stayed in!

Located high above the sea the entire Ionian Sea right across to main land Greece stretched before us very time we swam or ate on the terrace. I lost count of how many cups of tea went cold staring out that view. The rooms were lovely, the beds comfy, everything available to us in all the ideal place to holiday. We even managed to make the our elderly parents enjoy them selves even though they lacked anything to complain about. A first I believe. Spring in Greece is utterly beautiful, yes the nights are a little colder but the outdoor heater kept us toasty. Already planning our next visit! Don't tell to many other people please!!!

A stunning villa on a stunning spot on a stunning island

On less than one hour from the airport of Preveza one finds Villa Gabriella: paradise on earth! Magnificently located in the hills above Nydri the surroundings are quiet without being isolated. Its terrace offers a stunning view over the Mediterranean. The same view can be enjoyed from both the hot tub and the pool – giving even more a feeling of exclusivity. It really is a very beautiful house, well decorated, well maintained, with complete amenities and very good beds. Garden and trees contribute to the peaceful atmosphere. The island of Lefkada is more than worth exploring with beautiful nature, splendid beaches and a friendly population. One of the islands that are seen from the terrace is Skorpios, property of the Onassis family: we have come to understand why they favored this spot! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a generous welcoming pack of food and beverages. Finally we would like to mention our appreciation of the very helpful, informative and friendly manager of the house. Our advice: go there and enjoy all the house and the island has to offer, you will not be disappointed!

Stunning location with superb facilities

Whether you want to take in the stunning view, sun yourself on the terrace or be adventurous and take out a boat you will enjoy a memorable holiday. Alan and Jo have created a wonderful retreat with so many personal touches and there is help on hand to ensure that you make the most of what is on offer locally. If you are not a sailor there are fine walks on offer from the villa door - just remember to bring some trainers. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you stay at this wonderful villa.

Fantastic Views and idillic setting

So, yes you do have a climb out from the village of Nidri but what absolutely fantastic views. If you are looking for a place to chill, away from the crowds but with easy access to pretty much all of the Island of Lefkos this will work. High quality accommodation with all the elements needed to make the place home, (including the important bean to cup coffee machine). We would pop down during the day to the town, pick up supplies including fresh fish and BBQ in the evening on the Terrace Recommended.

Great for all ages.

It was such a beautiful and luxurious house.The views were amazing. Everything we needed was there. The hot tub and the BBQ were such fun.We brought with us three septagenarians and they adored it. Waking up every morning and taking a real coffee out to the terrace and just drinking in the view was something we will not forget in a hurry. We have booked again and can't wait to return.

Superb villa and hospitality

We holiday in villas in the summer every year, and I must say that Villa Gabriella was the best we have ever stayed in. The house and poolare superb and the view towards Skorpios astonishing. But what makes the villa special is the quality of the house. Everything is as it should be, down to the smallest detail. Lilias, who looks after the guests, is a fount of knowledge about the island. We were very fortunate to get the house in August and I urge all to make their reservations early - you will not know what you have missed.

A view to die for...

I could have gazed at the view across the sea all day without moving. The villa is very spacious and luxurious, 9 of us fitted in quite comfortably. Everything was thought of, we had a wonderful time. Lefkada is a beautiful island and our stay will be one of the highlghts of my life. the only drawback is the steep gravel track to the villa, it caused many a nightmare so we tended not to venture out.

We'll be back!!

Where to start!! A great holiday!! The service we received from step one at booking stage to the final goodbye was excellent. Contracts and payments were processed quickly and efficiently, driving instructions easy to follow, meeting and greeting at the villa plus a very informative informal chat to set us off in the right direction for everything from supermarkets to day trips was an extra that only enhanced our holiday. Service excellence all round. The property is absolutely beautiful with great attention to detail in every respect. We could not think of one single thing that was missing at villa Gabriella. Fabulous White Company linen and towels allowed us to submerge in absolute luxury. The views are without a doubt the best thing about villa Gabriella; after two weeks we were still finding view points around the property that we had not experienced before. Really beautiful. The location is great if you want to be close to restaurants and beaches and at the same time be away from it all. It is probably about 5 minutes drive to the nearest taverna and a further 2 minutes to the beach and shops. There is plenty to do with motorboat hire, water sports, day trips, beaches, tavernas, bars and cafes at your finger tips in Nidri and it is easy to get away from the crowds if you prefer a quiet relaxing holiday. I cannot say that there was anything that we did not like about our holiday and all i can say is that cannot wait to get back there having seen that the jacuzzi has been installed! Bliss!

This Villa is Excellent and highly recommended

Villa Gabriella is well worth a visit and comes highly recommended by us, it has been built & furnished to a very high standard with lots of space to relax in, each bedroom was furnished with a different country theme and had its own bathroom which was just perfect. The pool was excellent and very well maintained, (early on a morning so not as to disturb your visit). The views are to die for, changing as the day goes on, you never get fed up of looking. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming with lots of information on where to visit and eat out. The location is secluded but within 10mins drive of the town of Nidri with beaches lots of shops and water sports, we hired a boat for a couple of days from Trident, which was well worth it, as you get to see all those islands up close, great for mooring up and snorkling or just diving in from the boat. All other towns were within easy reach by car, be prepared for long windy roads to reach the beaches but well worth it. West cost line beaches well worth a visit, we didn't go till the end of our holiday and wished we had gone earlier. My husband and I went with our 3 teenage children ranging form 13 to 16 years and we all had a superb holiday at Villa Gabriella with plenty to do for us all. The perfect villa.

We were looking for a villa amongst the hundreds listed for the Ionian Islands, and came across this villa which looked too good to be true. A quick email to the owners agent (Lilias) in resort, and my mind was put quickly at rest. The owners were very accommodating of my changeable proposed booking dates, and Lilias hugely helpful. Villa Gabriella is a brand new villa sitting high up on a hill overlooking Nydri and quite simply the most breathtaking views of the Ionian and Islands surrounding Lefkas. The villa is brand new, and has everything to make you feel in a home away from home. It is finished to the very highest standard, and spotlessly clean. The pool has the most fantastic infinity views, and much larger than any villa I have stayed in before. Any concerns I had over the too good to be true status were immediately removed when we arrived, met by the ever helpful Lilias, and we enjoyed complete relaxation in this very secluded villa. You would definitely need a car to make the most of this villa and island, and although Villa Gabriella sits high on the hill, it's only a short ten minute drive to Nydri, where you can find all the shops and local amenities you could require. I cannot recommend this villa and it's owners and agents highly enough-you will not be disappointed should you take the time to visit this beautiful island and stunning villa.

Simply Gorgeous!

The views from villa Gabriella are unsurpassed. Whichever direction you look there is something beautiful; small islands across the bay from Nidri and larger ones further afield beyond the bay of Vliho. We just could not get enough of sitting on the terrace for breakfast or around the pool and enjoying the peace and quiet of villa Gabriella. The property is in pristine condition since it was only completed this year and the owners, with their flare for design have furnished the villa beautifully. Everything was perfect and immaculately clean. This year our holiday was a last minute decision and we found the villa through a friend. We have already made our plans for 2015 and will certainly be returning to villa Gabriella. We would recommend it for families or couples without any hesitation. A truly lovely villa with the best view in Greece!

The villa is beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. However it is the view from the various terraces, jacuzzi and the swimming pool that is quite incredible. That view over virgin forest down to Nidri then across to the islands of skorpios, meganissi and Ithaca then to the mountains on the mainland is so wonderful that every time one caught the view you just had to stare! The children loved the privacy, the pool and the forest to explore along with the bbq's on the terrace. We will be back!

“From ship to shore”

For 16 years Kingston-upon-Thames in Surrey was our UK home where our children Gabriella (Abby) and Alasdair grew up. We pursued our careers, Alan in the Automotive Industry and Jo in Financial Services. In 2011 we relocated to Dubai for both work and pleasure and took the opportunity to reshape our lives which included the sale of our UK home and the build of Villa Gabriella.

It all started though in 2002 when we headed to Nidri to learn to sail with a very young Abby & Alasdair in tow. Hooked on both sailing and the beauty of the Ionian islands in Spring 2003 we sailed our own yacht, also named Gabriella, from Isola to Nidri.

From summer 2003 until 2010 the highlight of each summer was two weeks afloat in the Ionian. Totally captivated by the islands and their way of life, in 2007 we’d driven up to the land on which Villa Gabriella now stands. A climb up an old tree and one single look at the view was enough to seal the deal and buy the land.

Gabriella, the yacht, was sold in 2010 and the money recycled into the foundations of the villa. From 2010 to 2014 Villa Gabriella was a labour of love. Managed by Steve, long-time Nidri resident and our artistically-inclined project manager, over four years the plot was shaped to allow Villa Gabriella to nestle amongst the trees with minimal disruption to the forest, whilst maximising the very best aspects of a view to die for.

An extraordinary location and a genuinely breathtaking view which enjoy privacy that's rare in our overcrowded world. An offer of peace and quiet that's still very close to the busy town of Nidri. You simply never get bored of the outlook and surroundings, even on the very rare occasion that if the weather is not that great, as the view simply changes. The bird song in the early morning and evening is also wonderful.
