We are sorry that these guest were not happy. I wish they would have given us a chance. I was rather surprised by some of their statements. First we lived in the house for 20 years, I have never found what was stated in their review “There were holes hidden by objects or garbage cans allowing outside critters in including a large rat”. Never do I remember having a rat in the house while we lived there, nor can I find these holes that were stated exist. I looked afterwards and could not find what they were reporting. This was in August, which in Tucson is the monsoon season with lots of rain, which gives us more bugs. It is the one season were we get a lot of gnats and mosquitos. There is not much we can do about that. The bedding was not wet, the beds were made and ready for use. I always check beforehand. The dryer was working, but if it was broken, we would have sent a repairman or buy another one if it was communicated to us. We did check and the heating unit must have broke very recently and we replaced the dryer the next day. As far as the sink having an oder, I have not had that complaint before and will check it in the future. We have a professional cleaner come in after each guest and she has been doing the cleaning for over a year and she does what I consider a good job. If you look at the reviews of many of our guest in the past you may find that to be true. This group was there one night, we allowed them to go in early which we do if the place is ready. If there are problems or issues we are quick to respond to those issues if people will communicate with us. Usually we are there within hours. Unfortunately there was no such communication, and we were told after they left. We pride ourselves in having a nice comfortable and clean home for people to enjoy. I believe after renting our home for over 3 years I can say we have had many happy guests. We are sorry that they were not happy.

We take pride in providing a clean, comfortable home and regret that it doesn’t always meet everyones desires or dreams. Some things to be noted; The cameras that are mounted, (4 of them), are first, not turned on, or connected to the internet. The actual unit is plainly visible in the office area of the house, and if desired can be used by the occupant if they turn them on to monitor the pool if they have kids swimming, or see who is at the front door. WE DO NOT MONITOR THE CAMERAS, THEY CAN NOT BE MONITORED REMOTELY, they can only be viewed by the occupants of the house. They also provide a deterrent of any possible thieves. We have a professional cleaning service clean the house for each renter. The sheets are always clean, white and without stains. The home is a tri-level, it has has stairs, 7 stairs to the basement floor and 7 stairs to the top floor. It has a banister, and a rail, they are normal stairs. The pool filter cover was broken just days before by the last renters, and this renter came in on short notice, and before we had a chance to address it. We have ordered another cover. The floors are saltillo tile, which is used a lot in southern Arizona, and there are a few floor mats. We raised 4 kids in this home and never had a problem. If your run with wet feet you will slip and possibly fall. There are lights in the back yard and front yard, twinkle lights, most seem to enjoy the ambiance of them at night, and they do turn off after a couple hours. They can be set not to come on at all. We don’t use any toxic poison in the backyard. This family rented this home for 3 days in July, which is the monsoon season, and this year we got record breaking rain, which attracts more bugs and other critters. We are in Arizona. The backyard is completely walled off and offering a very private setting. We let each renter know that we are always available if they have any questions or complaints, we regret that this couple did not call us as we are usually very prompt at addressing any issues, or answering any questions.
