My spouse and I stayed at this property with another couple. It was perfect for four adults, with the hot tub, fire table, pool table, and sleeping spaces. It was also centrally located for our visits to Dahlonega and Helen. It was very clean and well-kept, and had a nice view. We would stay here again.

Communication with the host was wonderful. Anytime I messaged he was quick to respond. The house sign by the road was hidden by a small bush, and the leaves covered the road so it was easy to miss if it was not daylight. It is a beautiful home, lots to enjoy and plenty of space for your family. If the electric goes off, be aware you will not have any water either. They do have two gallon jugs for emergencies and the fireplace will keep you warm if needed.

Suches family stay

Great place to stay. A good launching point for hiking and fishing. Easy trips to Helen and Dahlonega .Not to mention the outlets are an easy trip to make on a rainy day. Plenty to do at the house, kept our 9 and 11 year old boys busy. Check out Preacher's Rock 5 minutes away, family and dog friendly trail. Beautiful views.

Excellent weekend getaway

Great location for a mountain getaway. The house was exactly as expected. Fantastic for dog friendly environment. I would definitely go again!

Great getaway spot

Loved the cabin. Plenty of amenities and things to do inside and out. Jacuzzi and fireplaces made this super cozy in the fall. Owner was great and responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was really nice and fully stocked with anything one might need. Only downfall was our trip was too short!

Cozy Getaway

Wonderful getaway location for a weekend to relax with a great view. The house was cozy and clean and provided the amenities we were looking for to unwind and spend quality time with friends.

Beautiful renovated cozy cabin

This place was simply beautiful, well equipped with literally anything you’d need. It has a really cool play room, a very comfy couch, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, very clean, and the host was very nice, quick to respond to my questions. The are is gorgeous, we wanted to take my mom to the vineyards, and they didn’t disappoint! 100% recommended

It Snowed

A winter getaway stay. We spent four days in this home it was a great amount of time of explore the area and relax. Found a great coffee shop and bakery Blue 42! It also snowed the last day perfect get away!!!

Best Fall Getaway

WOW! If we ever come back to this area, we will definitely try to stay here again! This place was perfect for our small family and puppy. While we spent a lot of time exploring the Dahlonega and Helen areas, we also loved spending time at the house. The views were awesome and the peacefulness was just what we needed! This house had absolutely everything we needed and more! All 5 stars from us!

Very comfortable and family friendly

Clean kitchen, clean beds and floors. We used the gas grill twice, very easy. Our kids loved playing pool and wii. Very family friendly and comfortable. Thanks for excellent communication too!

Great for the family!

This place is beautiful! The first hour we were there 4 deer came up the hill and hung out. It was a great place to do day hikes on the Appalachian and enjoy the quiet. The house was super clean and our one year old loved to play with all the toys. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful and well appointed. It had everything you could need for cooking, relaxing, and entertainment. Owners were very helpful in fixing even the smallest of issues.

Wonderful stay, close to hiking trails

Cabin is very clean and perfect for families with little ones. There are multiple hiking trails within a short drive and so many places to explore. Walmart actually delivered out here too, I was surprised by that. Management was very responsive and professional. Hot tub is the cherry on top. My only disappointment was that the trees did their thing and grew up so you can't see the mountain range anymore like in the pictures.

Bad view

When booking this home for a weekend getaway with friends to visit local wineries, I was expecting to also get the view of the mountains from the deck that is depicted in the picture on the listing but it seems that picture was taken 10 years ago because you can’t see anything. The owners should update their pictures definitely no view of the mountains. In the picture there was a wide open view with no trees now they are 80 feet tall.

Great house!

We appreciated the clean and comfortable accommodations during our recent stay. It was truly a pleasant experience for all of us. While we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, there was one minor concern - the absence of a closet in the primary bedroom. It would be incredibly helpful to have this amenity for future guests who may need it. Overall, we had a great stay and this small improvement would make it even better. Thank you once again for providing us with such a lovely place to stay.

Perfect Mountain Get Away

Booked this property to enjoy some of the local wineries. When we arrived, we discovered there was no water. I contacted the owner, who responded immediately, and had the property manager there within the hour to investigate.Turns out a pipe had busted at the water pump. It was unable to be fixed that evening, so the owner gave us the option to stay with anticipation of having it fixed the next morning, or to cancel our reservation. We decided to stay and we had water by 10:00 the next morning. We were very happy we decided to stay. It was wonderful!

Listing Misrepresented - We did not stay after arriving

We were told this property was motorcycle friendly. Upon arrival the incline was extremely steep to get to the property and having 4 full dress motorcycles it was not safe to navigate causing 2 of the bikes to go down trying to ride the steep incline. Parking was too tight to turn a full dress motorcycle around so we had to back up and then turn up a steep incline to get out of the property. Extensive damage to both motorcycles and one rider was hurt. Thankfully we found alternative accomodations to stay at and contacted the owners to let them know we were not staying. They refunded us 2 nights but kept the cleaning fee, insurance and taxes from the full amount we paid. There wasn't any cleaning as we did not stay at the property only a total of 10 minutes, no need for the insurance as no one stayed on the property and the taxes were from full amount of total invoice so that should have been refunded also. We stood in the driveway long enough to make a call to a previous property we had stayed at and they had a cancellation so we were able to continue the trip without too much of an inconvenience and we had another $1200 go out for the second property we secured. This property also will not sleep 8 adults as advertised. 3 of the beds are for children / toddler and infant size. We are extremely disappointed in the lack of honesty and empathy of the 2 people that could have been seriously hurt. The owner rides an off road bike and he compared that to a touring bike.

Stupendous!

This property is simply a dream! The home is warm and inviting, includes all the amenities your heart desires and is perfectly equipped for children. The location is ideal - secluded, yet within a short, breathtaking drive to many activities. We can’t say enough good things about the owners- wonderfully friendly and communicative. Simply a delight!!!

Great Girls Weekend

This spacious home looks out on a valley and is next to the national forest. It is very clean and beautifully decorated in a contemporary fashion. Calm and peaceful are apt descriptors. The grounds are in need of some work, but the home is so lovely, you almost don’t want to go outside! Every detail is anticipated by the owners. It was a very enjoyable stay.
