The house was very accommodating for 2 large families. A few odds and ends on the maintenance side, we had to address, (Broken cabinet, mirror hanging from one side, etc) but overall a great stay.

The house was very spacious and close access to the beach. The golf cart was an added bonus and great for quick trips around the area. House is close to Alvin’s Island, convenient store , and some restaurants. There were a few minor upkeep issues but that didn’t really affect the stay. We had a great time and really enjoyed the house.

This property was great for my group. It was spacious and clean. I love that it came with a golf cart and several bikes. It was comfortable and we felt right at home. My only complaint was that we couldn't get all the tvs to work nor the fan in the kids room but overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. The host was easily accessible and we weren't far from the beach.

The place was not properly cleaned! Refrigerator was dirty dining table was super dirty and sticky to where we had to place a sheet on top because we couldn’t get the sticky stuff off. The floors were not cleaned well as soon as the kids placed their feet on the floor there little feet were black. The pots were half cleaned.The other amenities were excellent!

The house was beautiful & very clean. A few issues but nothing worth calling & pausing our vacation for. -TVs in both master bedrooms didn’t work (one was missing the HDMI cord & the other didn’t have a remote. We moved the HDMI cord from one of the upstairs bedrooms so the bride & groom could have TV in the master suite)-The golf cart provided had a faulty charge gauge, so it never showed the accurate battery life. It was also extremely slow & almost impossible to get up a slight incline. Maxed out around 13mph with 4 people, though it was a 6 person cart. -Ceilings fans in the bunk room and downstairs master did not work.-We weren’t informed that there was no parking at the beach access & had 2 guests with knee & hip issues. We had to drop them off at the beach access & park a block away to walk back. Overall, very nice home in a beautiful gated neighborhood. Just a few minor inconveniences.

Home was very beautiful and had lots of room for a family of 14. Home was clean but the garage needs a good cleaning. Was well stocked with bath towels but could use some more dish towels and dishes. Property was close to the pool but was a little far from the beach. To far to walk especially with kids. The golf cart was nice, but you could not ride it to the private beach entry because you had nowhere to park it. So we had to go to the public beach which was not far so we could have somewhere to park . Had no problem with check-in and if we needed something, replied very fast. But overall, the house was very nice..

The property was clean and spacious. It appeared to be undergoing a renovation that was not disclosed to us. Can lights were hanging out in the main hallway entrance, electrical outlets were not working in all bathrooms and were not GFI , painters blue tape upstairs, several pieces of decor in hallway were broken . Also we had to request a broom as there was no charger cord for the Shark floor vacAlso property description needs to better disclose HOS beach rules and distance of beach access

Great place to stay!

We thought it was going to be a bit difficult to get our large family with 6 kids to the beach from this property. We added a golf cart and this was the perfect place for us.

Amazing home

This home is perfect for your next getaway! We stay in TONS of vrbo but for a last minute trip this one turned out to be on our top list! Beautifully updated, and the hosts are super easy to contact!! Thanks again for letting us use your home!!

Teen Birthday Trip

We traveled with my children and their friends for their birthday. All teens ages 16-19. They all had a great time. Great location. The kids rode the bikes everywhere. They all had plenty of space.

Very Nice Property!

We stayed at the property with my family and my brother’s family. It was perfect! The house is very nice and actually nicer in person - very large, open rooms and each room has its own bathroom and shower - very nice! Location is great. We rented a golf cart which was really nice to have to run to the beach or shops. Our families would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful home

We loved our stay here! And loved that there was a golf cart and bikes included! The neighborhood felt safe there was a gate and security and it was a beautiful home and neighborhood! We ran out of propane for the grill and they were quick to respond and bring a new one! My family loved staying here! Also Badass coffee is right around the corner and it was nice to have the option to have coffee next door! One thing we wished there was some chair and umbrella to take to the beach with us but either way it was still a great time we rented from La dolce vita some chairs and umbrellas and that was perfect!

Great location

Home is very nice and in a great location. Dinning room table very sticky and we were unable to remove. Washer and dryer do not work well. Takes over 2 hrs to dry a load. Golf cart and bikes were a great added bonus. I had to call for checkin instructions. They were not sent prior to arrival.

Great stay, just minor things that could be fixed

The floors was nasty. The bands to swim wasn't enough. The overall stay was great it was just minor things that could be prevented. The place needs to gave a huge dumpster for trash to be removed cause the trash cans can't hold 3 bags for a family of 15 ppl

The floors are professionally cleaned after each guest stay, and have been steam cleaned several times throughout the year to ensure high quality cleanliness and a great place for our guests to stay. This home is perfect for families, and boasts bikes, and a golf cart for guests to use! This makes getting to the beach and pool even more convenient! A trash dumpster is against community guidelines, so unfortunately that is not an option, but trash is picked up twice a week in this community, so the trash should not be a problem for anyone if trash is taken out on trash days!

The house has a great setup. Each room comes with a shower. 1 king bedroom on the main floor far enough away from the living room area so if the occupants want to go to bed while the rest of the guests are up, no issues. The room with the bunks has a ceiling fan, but due to bunk beds there, it is not functional. Maybe take a fan if you need that in the summer for that room.The living room is very large. The furniture is all right. The dining room table accommodates 8 but was sticky. We had a golf cart and 6 bikes. We could not use the grill. It was rusty/food built up, but the host was quick 2 answer. They sent out someone to clean. They did not have a wire brush. We never got to use it. I am not happy about that, but it should be something they need to stay on from now on. I won't take a star away from our experience over that, but be aware.The beds were comfortable. We had plenty of towels. All rooms except the bunk room have a ceiling fan. We did not watch tv the whole time we were there, but there's 1 in each room.The kitchen bowls and some coffee cups were chipped. We travel with most of our kitchen things due to staying in places that weren't properly stocked. With so many people staying, it is hard to keep up with that, but those things could be checked on regularly. It would be a 10/10 if those things were upgraded.Our experience was amazing other than the grill. The host was very responsive. No issues with them at all. I would definitely stay there again.

Parents and groomsmen bridal party

We rented this property for us (the parents), our son, and his groomsmen for the wedding weekend. The wedding was inland about an hour but this house was the perfect place for us all to stay and have plenty of room to spread out. The guys were able to enjoy the beach on Saturday (Sunday wedding) while we made preparations for the big day. The house was beautiful and well furnished. The setup was great because the “boys” were all upstairs and had their own private bathrooms. Highly recommend this property for a large gathering. The pool was close enough to walk. The beach was a bit of a walk if you have a lot of stuff to carry, but the owners have bikes available if needed. Overall I would recommend.

Great House but outdated

The house is great but in dire need for updates. The couches are old and broke down, the dryer does not dry clothes, and the kitchen stove is in need of replacing along with new cookware and bake ware. And for a house of 16 they left 4 trash bags and 2 dishwasher tabs, we ended up buying dish clothes and towels, trashbags, dishwasher tabs, and even TP. The bikes were great and we used a lot. There should be more outdoor seating besides just for 2.we left some.boogie boards so if that is the next familes thing, we got them covered, we left 5 good ones! Located in a good neighorhood and beach area for sure!

This property had an inaccurate ad and the property manager provided bad information during the booking process. Once we arrived, we were challenged by the security guard. The security guard threatened to have us arrested and fined daily. The property manager then attempted to fine us daily and evict us for their inaccurate ad. Instead of correcting their problem, they compounded the issue. The property also was lacking basic things like toilet paper and paper towels. Those aren't major issues but notify us prior to check-in that those items would be needed. Overall the issue is with the property manager Beachwalk Vacations, not the owner or the property. Stay away from properties managed by this company.

Beautiful Home

This home is wonderful for a group! Each bedroom has its own bathroom allowing for privacy. Beautifully decorated. The old-school arcade game was really fun. There were a few items in the home that need updating (grill-rusted / dryer filter - rusted), but those things didn't stop us from having a good time. Be prepared to drop off group at the beach - there's not a lot of parking. One other thing we learned: you are not allowed to set up tents on the beach. The chair rental company has priority and sets up chairs at the water's edge for the entire section of beach near access gate, so don't plan on setting up on the front row unless you pay to rent chairs. For this reason, there is no view of the water during the day. Highly recommend evening beach time.

I booked and paid in full for this house. Two days before I was supposed to check in, I received a text saying that they needed to move me to another property because this home sustained water damage. I understand things happen. I was given two options, both were 3 bedroom, 3 bath homes. I needed 4 bedrooms and preferred more bathrooms. I was given 4 more options but all of these were in a different location. So I made do with a 3 bedroom. Here’s where my issues began. I was downgraded to a smaller, cheaper property but was told I would not receive a refund for the difference. The air was terrible downstairs. We could not get the tv in the downstairs bedroom to work with either of the multiple remotes that was on the dresser. Another remote was found when we were leaving that might work, not really sure. Then was told by security on our last day that we were not allowed to ride the golf cart anymore because the registration expired March 31. Thankfully they didn’t stop us until our last day but still missed out on enjoying riding around on our last day. I will say the house was clean, besides food being stuck on clean dishes, and the beds were pretty comfortable. The location was great and the resort was beautiful. I would definitely stay in this area but again but would find a different host/company to book with. This home is not the one we stayed in but I’m unable to leave the review on the actual property because they never changed my reservation to the other property.

Nice house, some inaccurate info

The house was very nice and plenty big for 16 people however, some of the information in the specifics was inaccurate. The directions to get into the beach access stated “enter code xxx and then reach inside gate to push button”. The gate had extra fencing so that you cannot reach through. If the code was correct the gate would open without reaching through the gate to push the exit button from inside the gate. Thankfully another guest gave us the correct code. Also the information stated extra parking was located at the community pool however there were signs there stating overnight parking was not allowed, vehicles would be towed.

The day we were traveling we had issues with this host. One hour before we left they informed us there was a water leak at this property so they provided us a different property to stay at. This resolution was great but to let us know the day of was very inconvenient. This set the stage for the next challenge we had, which was getting in to the property. The gate code we were given did not work and we contacted the emergency line for assistance. The code we were given from this representative did not work and someone who was staying on the property was able to get us in. We were assured this was the code for the property and we should be able to get in the next time and to call back with any other issues. We did leave to get groceries with anxiety and came back to the confirmed fears, the gate code was not working. I called to receive assistance again and informed the representative that we were locked outside of the gate again (This was around 10pm). They assured us the code was correct and we used 2 different ones but none of them worked. They could not provide us a resolution because they don’t control the gate (it is the HOA that does). This was very concerning because there was no way for us to get in without assistance. We ultimately followed another tenant into the property when they pulled up. Not a good start to our vacation and we felt this was not treated with urgency by this company. It was a nice home and we did enjoy ourselves but I would not rent again.
