Vores casita, Cielito Lindo, er beliggende i eksklusive North Hills, beliggende i en højde på 7.200 ft. På en rolig og smuk bakketop, tre minutter fra den historiske Santa Fe Plaza, gallerier, restauranter, shopping og natteliv. Oplev solopgange og solnedgange som du aldrig har set før. Nat er især magisk i North Hills. Om sommeren sidder du udenfor på din private portal, der lytter til vinden, der sukker i piñonerne. Gaze i stjerner så lyst, at du næsten kan røre ved dem. Hør hylderne af coyoter i fjerne høje og imellem en rolig og dyb stilhed, der er unik for det høje ørkenland i det nordlige New Mexico. Beautiful and spacious casita. Loved the fireplace. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee and cookware. Bed was super comfy. Location was great as it was close to many conveniences but quiet. Host provided lots of helpful information prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend.

This is our second time staying at this little casita. I can’t say enough about how great it was to have a place like this to stay in Santa Fe. It’s a five minute drive to the plaza so location is great. It was November when we were there so we fired up the kiva fireplace after coming back to the casita after a long day of adventures. It was clean, cozy, and had everything that we needed.

This is our favorite VRBO. The hosts are exceptional. They allow you your privacy but are always there if anything needs doing and they have amazing suggestions for things to do while in northern New Mexico. We've stayed on multiple occasions and have noticed that they keep the property in top notch condition and often add little touches to make our stay completely satisfying.

The casita was so comfortable. The hosts were great and so responsive and communicative. They also had some great tips on what to do and where to eat for guests new to the area. It was a perfect location: close to all the services, and downtown, but far enough out to have a country feel. The sunset views were great. We would definitely stay there again.

Cielito Lindo was perfect for us. We very much enjoyed the location, very peaceful, and easy access to town. Our hosts Chris and Marie provided clear concise Instructions for access and suggestions for things todo. When we return to Santa Fe we will stay here again.

The Casita was great! Very convenient location to everything, five minutes to the Plaza. It was our 2nd time to stay here and plan to book it again. Hosts are very attentive.

We loved this place! Beautiful outdoor patio and lots of nonstop entertainment from hummingbirds. Lots of other birds, a visit from a young buck deer with beautiful velvet on his antlers, coyotes at night and gorgeous sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked as far as cooking utensils. Very quiet and comfortable and it will be our first choice when we return to Santa Fe.

Beautiful stay!

Loved the casita! Great view and amenities! Very good location. 10-15 dollar uber to most anywhere. Great inside and outside space. Only consideration is if you are on girls trip and only one bathroom might be a little hard because the bathroom is in the bedroom. Adding a door to the existing bathroom for another entrance would be very helpful! Otherwise, highly recommended !!!

Chris and Marie were awesome and we loved the Casita. It was perfect! If you want any recommendations for things to do, just ask. Convenient location, very clean and excellent views for sunsets!!

Roomy. Comfortable. Peaceful. Perfect.

I happen to love this casita! It definitely has a “Santa Fe” feel with lots of windows that open to allow the New Mexico breezes. The kitchen had everything I needed. The outdoor spaces are lovely. In one spot you can enjoy the hummingbirds and the songs of the towhees, the other provides great viewing of the spectacular sunsets. The hosts were very helpful in providing recommendations for hiking and activities in the area. It was a truly lovely stay. I definitely recommend.

Santa Fe Casita with a View

Peaceful Hilltop Casita Oasis

Between, April 24 – May 7, 2025 we enjoyed our third visit to Chris and Marie’s Peaceful Hilltop Casita oasis in Santa Fe. In a previous reviews we described in detail all the wonderful reasons why we enjoyed our stay. One again our hosts, Chris and Marie, made every effort to make our stay comfortable. The day before we were scheduled to begin our drive back home a spring snow storm hit Santa Fe and the surrounding region. Chris and Marie offered another night in the casita so the storm could pass through so we would leave a day later making our drive safer. Plus, supplying us with pinon wood, kindling, and fire starters so we could enjoy a cozy fire in the Kiva fireplace. This speaks volumes about the Howson’s. One could not ask for more thoughtful, kind hosts. If you are looking to enjoy a restful, renewing experience with all the beauty that Santa Fe and the surrounding area offers then look no further than the delightful Peaceful Hilltop Casita. Once again, kudos to Chris and Marie.

Perfect Casita for a couple

Everything about this Casita was just as described. The location is great, easy to get too with private parking, in a nice quiet neighborhood. It feels very private, yet close and convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, hikes, and downtown. The ease of check-in/out, and communication with the host couldnt have been better!been

Great Place to Stay

Everything about the property was excellent and exactly as described. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The hosts were friendly and gave recommendations on the area. The house is in a great location just 5-10 minutes from download, yet quiet and peaceful. It was a great stay for our family and would we definitely want to stay there again for our next trip out!

Amazing Cozy Little Casita

Fantastic little property nestled in the hills north of Santa Fe. It was very quiet with sunset views. It was super easy to drive to the plaza. The owners were super helpful. They found out that we liked to hiked and they gave us a lot of suggestions as to where to go. Don’t be bashful to ask them for suggestions. They have some good ones. We enjoyed a fire in the kiva while we watched a movie and relaxed after a long day. Definitely will come back next time we go to Santa Fe!

The owners live in a separate house on the property and we are available to answer any questions you may have about Santa Fe, the surrounding areas, or your lodging.
In addition, as an epidemiologist and nurse we ensure a deep cleaning and disinfection of the casita, its linens, kitchen items and other contents before and after every rental.

We bought this property because we love the variety that Santa Fe has to offer. The arts scene is incredibly vibrant--art and photo galleries galore, plays, bars and night clubs with music into the early morning hours and, of course, the world famous open air Santa Fe Opera is only a 12-minute drive from our property. We also love the outdoors and have the alpine meadows and ski basin of the Santa Fe Wilderness to hike in 6 miles to the east and the mysterious, red rock canyons and Ghost Ranch of the vast Piedra Lumbre basin to the northwest. Wildlife abounds around our property--eagles, ravens, coyotes, bobcats and bears live in the surrounding hills and don't be surprised by the occasional roadrunner running across the road in front of you. Plus, we are both skiers and love that we can drive out the property and 35 minutes later be buckling on our ski boots at 10,600 ft.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Santa Fe is far south in the US but our house and casita are at 7,200 ft. in altitude, so the winters are warm with bright sun and the summers cool and dry. With 323 days of sun a year, northern New Mexico is an ideal vacation spot.
