We held a family reunion with three generations from the UK, Canada and Portugal. The house was perfect. Everyone loved the space and it really felt like a home that has hosted many joyful gatherings in the past. The porch was a great place for meals and just hanging out. The house was clean, the friends who caretake were helpful and responsive, and Stepan, the owner, was quick to respond to questions and provided very useful information about the house and where to eat and things to do. It is a quiet and peaceful place and the trees around the property gave us a lot of privacy (as well as being beautiful). The location is ideal for trips to the beach, neighbouring villages and Lisbon. We would absolutely recommend this property.

Great time!

Our group of 13 had a wonderful stay. The children enjoyed the pool and there was enough space to spread out for some peace and quiet. The outdoor patio and grill were a particular highlight.

Delightful holiday stay

Lovely relaxing family villa holiday

We had a lovely stay on your villa. The location is perfect for Foz, Caldas, Obidos. The villa has all the facilities - cannot fault the kitchen, living room, pool, etc. Could maybe add a few more mirrors in the bedrooms. Thank you for a lovely stay

Great house for an extended family vacations

All you need for a vacation with your family. Calm and beautiful place close to so many cultural and sportive activity that everybody will find something to enjoy. Great communication with the owner and the local property manager. Highly recommend.

Great for large families, too.

We had 8 adults and 3 children staying here and never felt like we were crowded. The outdoor amenities were wonderful and we spent a good deal of time on the patio and in the pool. We ate outside on the long dinner table every evening for a big communal meal and used the grill three times.

What a wonderful holiday

We were three families with kids 3 to 7 years old. What a wonderful week. Kids loved the pool, wonderful dinners and evenings out on the patio. Nice walk to the beach, for adults only though. Spacious and cool inside. Would visit again!

This property was a stunning little villa in a smaller, rural town with access to many main towns and beaches within 15-30 minutes of driving distance. It was the perfect place for our group of 11 people, the pool was a refreshing way to end each day and relax as a family around the outdoor dining area each night. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable and hosts a large group well. The host even left a handful of local items for us upon check-in which was extremely thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a good home base outside of the busy cities, yet still accessible for day trips.

Beautiful vacation home for the family

Every year, we come here with the family to relax. The house offers plenty of space for the whole family and is equipped with everything we need for cooking. The swimming pool is fantastic, as it is sunlit all day and never in the shade, making the water pleasantly warm in the afternoon and perfect for relaxing. The children love the pool. The sea and the Foz do Arelho promenade are just 8 minutes away from the house, allowing us to visit the beach multiple times a day and enjoy all its aspects.

Wonderful

What a great house. Plenty of space for all 10 of us. Safe for the children as there is now a pool fence. Plenty of crockery, etc in the kitchen and everything spotless. Only 10 minutes from the sea or supermarkets. The pool was great so we added a couple of inflatables. Lovely walks and views nearby. Lots of activities nearby. The garden was very pretty and everything was kept beautifully. A great place for all ages.

Magical family holiday

We have just had a magical holiday at the Quinta da Princesa Barbara. The whole family was there to celebrate my parents’ 80th birthdays and it was perfect. The house is stunning and extremely well appointed. It has everything you could possibly need. We had so much fun in the pool and wonderful evenings on the outdoor terrace eating the amazing barbecues we cooked. I cannot recommend the Quinta enough. We absolutely loved it! Raymond and Maria were so helpful and the bedrooms were all so beautiful and comfortable. The location is brilliant - close to wonderful beaches at Foz and Sai Martinho. Thank you! It was a delight from start to finish!

For us... the perfect holiday home

This year we are for the 2nd time guests in this great holiday home. We would like to thank Štěpán for making his house available to us. The property is located just 7 minutes from Foz do Arelho, and can be reached quickly and easily with children. If you need an alternative to the beach, you will find it in the pool. The pool is always on the sunny side and invites you to swim all day long... and is really a lot of fun. The house is superbly equipped... with comfortable mattresses and beds, the kitchen has everything you need to host friends and family. And here, too, no savings were made: the dishes, the glasses, the pots, everything is very beautiful and as good as new. In the living room we could end the cool evenings in the evening or sit relaxed on the terrace. Dear guests, treat "Quinta da Princesa Barabara" well as if it were your own. Because you rarely find such beautiful holiday homes and we want to come back soon... and hope to be guests of Štěpán for a long time to come.

Cadre très reposant et très agréable,, car dans la propriété, nous sommes vraiment, sans vis-à-vis. La communication avec le propriétaire est très bonne et très facile. L'arrivée nous est facilité par Raymond,, qui est d'une grande gentillesse. Vraiment très bonnes vacances, tres belle maison, je recommande sans hésitations.

La inca pega q le pongo es q las fotos no hacen justicia a la casa. Fue una experiencia perfecta para tres familias, en total 13 personas. No puedo mas q recomendar esta casa. En cuanto al trato, fue y tu ido fluido, incluso cuando tuvimos problemas para recibir las llaves. Muy recomendable.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Stephanes Haus. Die Lage war super: mit dem Auto ist man schnell am Strand, am Flughafen Lissabon und auch in Nazaré. Ein Supermarkt war ebenfalls in der Nähe.Der Check-in hat reibungslos geklappt, wir durften das Haus sogar früher beziehen, da wir schon Vormittags angereist sind. Bei kleinen Fragen oder Problemen war immer sofort jemand vor Ort oder per Nachricht erreichbar. Wir hatten viel Privatsphäre, was wir sehr genossen haben.Die Räumlichkeiten waren großzügig und sehr sauber. Pool, Garten, Grill und die Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen haben das Ganze abgerundet. Wir würden immer wieder kommen! :) Dankeschön!

Haus mit Geschichte

Wunderschönes Haus, mit interessanter Familiengeschichte. Es gab viel zu erfahren und entdecken. Mega Pool und für unsere Familie mit 10 Personen optimale Größe. Ruhige Lage, aber schnell in der Stadt und am Meer. Gute informationen bezüglich Restaurants und Umgebung. Hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Haus,aber das ist dem Klima geschuldet. Können es aufrichtig weiterempfehlen
