Thank you Karen for your nice reply.

Hello Wendy, The " tricky front door " was caused by a new copy of the key that was not completely ok. Thanks for mentioning this. Best regards, Peter and Marilou

Thank you Andrea for your kind review. And always welcome. Peter

Thanks Anna for your kind repy.

Hello Rachel, We are sorry to hear that some services were not completely correct. We contacted our local manager and she apologised for the later check in. ( 17pm instead of 16pm; because of a very buzzy day). We also contacted the pool company for not doïng the weekly cleaning, although we pay for this. We offer a fresh set of sheets and towels for every new week upon request. ( as written in the pink map with information for our guests.) Like in a hotel, you simply have to ask for this. From now on, Adilia will emphasize this at the "meet and greet". But sorry again. Peter and Marilou

Hello Carol and Marty, Thanks for your kind reply. And always welcome. P.S. The main switch of the electricity fell out because the electricity company put a new electronic electricity counter during your stay. We got a mail afterwards. Best regards, Peter and Marilou

Dear Ray, 1)We clearly understand your frustration: you arrived on Friday night and the hot water system was not working properly (although checked recently). Saturday morning the stainless steel barrel of 300 liters turned out to be broken and that was not in stock. It was not until Tuesday morning that an "emergency system" arrived that can supply 80 liters of hot water every half hour. (but you wanted 4 baths in a row). For the 5 days of inconvenience, we refunded 50% rent. 2) Unannounced, construction of a new street behind our house has started. Annoying, but nothing we can do about it. 3) There is good heating via heat pump in every room. For fun, we installed a pellet stove this winter, which you may use. Of course you have to empty the ashtray after a few days (1 minute work). 4) A few hours before the guests arrive, our Portuguese help opens 2 sliding windows ajar (with the shutters down) to ventilate the house extra. Is that also a defect? Understanding points 1 and 2. For the rest, we find your assessment very subjective. Sincerely, Peter and Marilou

Hello Michelle, Thanks for your review. We are sorry that something went wrong and we have taken measures to make things run better again. Best regards, Peter

Onze excuses daarvoor. Vriendelijke groet, Peter
