BEMÆRK: Vi booker i øjeblikket kun som en ugentlig ferieudlejning. (På hinanden følgende minimumsophold på 7 nætter). Den natlige sats på VRBO-kalenderen i 2019 afspejler vores ugentlige basisrate på $ 2.660 pr. Uge. I løbet af 2020 vil Tamarack fortsat være tilgængelig som en ugentlig leje. Priser på VRBO-kalenderen er aktuelle for det nye år, der begynder med tilgængeligheden i april 2020.

Velkommen! Tamarack Lakehouse & Preserve er en ekstraordinær ferieudlejning, der omfatter mere end 160 hektar af det bedste, som Minnesota har at byde på. Ejendommen har Cranberry Lake på 38 hektar - - privat, foråret mad og perfekt til dage med svømning, kajaksejlads eller fiskeri (fangst og frigivelse). Næsten 3 miles af stier snor sig gennem gamle vækst fyrreskove, bjørkestande og granmoser, hvilket giver det perfekte baggrund for en fredelig spadseretur eller til et storslået eventyr. Plus, med et moderne og lyst hjem som centrum, tilbyder Tamarack alt hvad du har brug for et uforglemmeligt ophold!

Tamarack er sådan en vidunderlig ferieudlejning på grund af dette fantastiske hjørne af Minnesota. Alle 160 acres af det! Egenskaben udgør rolig pusterum og utallige eventyr! Another amazing stay!!

This was our 4th stay and as always everything was fantastic. This property provides every opportunity for as much activity or relaxing as each person would like. The hosts are amazing in their communication and thoughtfulness to make your stay first class. The private location can't be beat and everything at the property is set up to make your stay perfect. We will continue to book this property year after year!

Extended Family Getaway

Wonderful property with plenty to do! We spent the week walking the abundance of trails, fishing for bass, playing the numerous yard games provided, using the pizza oven, relaxing in the sauna, and relaxing. We had 9 people and it was a perfect amount of space to hangout and also getaway from each other. We would definitely go to this property again.

Secluded

What a beautiful property. Had the whole lake to ourselves for the whole week. Lots of groomed trails, outdoor pizza oven was a hit. Such a nice relaxing week. Deb was very helpful in the whole process.

North country magic

This was our second stay at tamarack, it’s such a gem. Beautiful property amidst boreal forest and bogs. Huge yard for the kiddos to play in and house comfortably accommodates 10-12. Lake swimming, sauna, pizza oven…we could go on and on. Owners are very thoughtful and responsive if needed. We’ll definitely be back!🌲💗

Always fantastic!

This was our 3rd time staying at The Tamarack and it never disappoints. It's a marvelous property for a weeklong getaway. Whether you prefer the kitchen, the table, the deck, or the yard to be the epicenter of your family time, The Tamarack has it all. Deb and Ray are fantastic hosts and communication is top notch. We already can't wait until next year!

Another great stay at The Tamarack

Celebration at the Tamarack!

Wow! The Tamarack did not disappoint. Our family had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating here. The home was beautiful, welcoming and provided perfect accommodations for all of our guests. And, so clean! All of the beds were comfortable with cozy linens. Plenty of quality towels and wash cloths in each bathroom. The kitchen was fully-stocked with everything you'd need to prepare and serve a family feast - everything! From morning coffee to late-night poker games, the kitchen island and dining room table had ample room for our 10 guest, making it the epicenter our time spent at The Tamarack. The living spaces were so comfortable and perfect for lounging, movie watching, video game playing and afternoon naps. Although the home was perfect, most of our time was spent outdoors. The huge yard was perfect for our active family. Lots of yard games were played. The lake provided countless hours of entertainment including swimming, kayaking and fishing. And, we can't forget to mention the walking trails- gorgeous! The natural habitat was exciting to explore and the grounds were naturally manicured providing an easy trek. We would like to thank the owners for allowing our family to stay and look forward to returning in the future. We will most definitely be recommending The Tamarack to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. Easy 5 Star Rating!

Wonderful stay at an amazing property

We spent a summer week at Tamarck and we're delighted with our time. This is a spacious, well-maintained home which comfortably held 6 adults and four children with room for everyone to do there thing. It is set amidst a secluded, beautiful 160 acre forrest, with stands of 100ft red pine near the home, and a very large yard that includes a sauna and wood fired oven. From the backyard you can access multiple walking trails and a short pathway to the private lake. Tamarack would be a great get away any time of year. The owners were very responsive both before and during the stay. We highly recommend it!

The Perfect Spot!

We couldn't have wished for a better stay at a better property. While the photos are beautiful, they don't really do the home justice. Everything we wanted was there, from the linens and bedding to the most well stocked kitchen we have ever seen at a VRBO. Everything you need to enjoy your vacation is there from kayaks to croquet, from the sauna to the amazing pizza oven. We took advantage of the suggestions in the book and we went to the store in Goodland for homemade bacon and sausage, we made terrific pizzas in the pizza oven and we came home feeling relaxed and refreshed. Deb made the booking and check in/check out process as easy as can be and we are looking forward to another stay sometime in the future. Thanks again!

New Season, Same great property

We tried The Tamarack as a summer kickoff this year and had the opportunity to experience both the late spring cool weather (Saunas and fire pits for the win) and an early heat wave (Lake day -all day). The house and property continued to demonstrate it's versatility with nature walks, fishing and adventure. All the kids asked when our next trip would be :).

Roughing it in style.

The home is spacious and luxurious with rustic knotty pine interior. It is a magnificent place with many huge windows to take in the view of acres of pine, tamarack and open grassy areas complete with deer and other wildlife that come right up to the house. The trails all over the property are fun to hike and many interesting plants are identified along the way. The lake is lovely and good for swimming and paddling around. The home comes complete with every amenity you can think of with a wonderful kitchen, not to mention the fun of using the brick pizza oven. The wifi was fine for two of the grandkids to do Zoom classes and we even had good phone service. The Tamarack was beyond our expectations as a wonderful place for a family vacation.

Return trip was even better!

We stayed at this property last year and it was such a great time, everyone wanted to return! Certainly COVID was a concern but we knew how clean the property was and after talking to the owner about their extra cleaning steps and precautions they were taking, those concerns went away immediately. This trip was even better since we knew how well this property was stocked and all that it has to offer (check my review from Aug 2019 for that). Given our current situation, this trip was really needed for our family and I can't think of a better place to recharge. The owner is so nice and extremely responsive. I really can't recommend this property enough.

Pizza and Nature Camp

We loved the property, trails, lake and all the fun gear that came with the rental. We especially loved learning the wood fired oven, which made 5 of our 8 meals including flat breads, too many pizzas to count and salmon. The house was lovely with plenty of space for the kids and adults to spread out and relax.

Great Place

This is a great place to vacation in our troubled times: The house was immaculately clean, very well equipped, and the lake and grounds absolutely first rate! Fishing for largemouth was top notch, but I echo the need to practice “catch and release” fishing, these northern lakes can be kind of fragile!

Hidden Gem in Northern MN

Our family are seasoned VRBO-goers that for several years have chosen different properties to rent around northern MN for a summer weekend. We like to try different areas and thus choose a different property each year. That will change after our recent stay at The Tamarack as we are already choosing a weekend next summer to book. This property was PERFECT for our group of 12. The house itself has plenty of seating and prep space for meals and every single drawer, cupboard, and light switch is labeled to make it very easy to find what you need. There are multiple sitting rooms for people to spread out as much as is needed for reading, playing different games, etc. The large yard was perfect! We had bocce ball, badminton, and cornhole tournaments going on all at the same time. The deck provides a great place to observe until it's your turn! The multiple walking trails are laid out perfectly to fit any desired length. The lake itself may be small, but it was fantastic having it all to ourselves. The kids loved the swimming, the kayaks, and we caught plenty of large mouth bass for those that wanting to fish. One of the highlights, of course, was the outdoor, wood-fired oven. We made pizzas multiple nights and it was an absolute hit. We can't wait to try some different menu items next summer! The Welcome Guide we received from the owners was incredibly detailed to ensure we knew how to operate everything and left absolutely no questions for us on what to expect and what was already onsite. In fact, we will pack so much less next year because the property is so well stocked with everything needed. It was great to feel "off the grid" - although the in-home wifi was nice to have as we did feel the need to stream a couple of Twins games! The owners have done a great job of setting this place up for the type of experience we had and we look forward to returning next summer!

One of the nicest properties that we have rented on VRBO

Outstanding accomodations..... Exceptionally clean..... Convenient but very private location...... Thorough instructions about property and area..... We plan to book another stay next year and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for rentals in the Hibbing / Grand Rapids area.

The property was immaculate and the environment was very welcoming. Rarely do properties live up to the images created on websites - this property exceeded our expectations. We had 9 people and we stayed for the week - never leaving the property as it had everything we needed for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation. Thank you!
