Denne luksuriøse 3 værelses bolig ved havet kan prale af direkte udsigt over havet, men på grund af dens sjældne hjørneplacering vil dit selskab også blive behandlet med udsigt over de smukke vestlige Maui-bjerge lige fra Lanai. Wonderful stay in an excellent unit! Lots of space on the balcony for all of us to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean, beach, and pool. The dining table was perfect for evening board games and cards. Easy communication for checking in and we'll be sure to book again.

Property is beautiful and fabulous for families with young children. Our particular condo had the perfect ocean view with a lovely lanai for relaxation. Plenty of space so you are not on top of each other. We requested and received two futons for a 5.5 and 3.5 y/o and they worked great. Kitchen could be better stocked for those who want to prepare their meals, but we made do with what was available. We had two vehicles, valet one, parked the other. Both were easy. All service staff were kind and polite!

The overall stay was great, but the master shower heads had a lot of mildew from 2 of the 3 shower heads that caused issued and made you feel gross.

Perfect family vacation!Honua Kai Resort & Spa KoneaI was able to rent a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit for 6 adults. Common area was spacious and kitchen was well stocked with cooking and eating items and accessories. Unit had large lanai facing the ocean and Dukes. Amazing sunsets !There are three pools on property, including middle pool with slide, as well as several hot tubs. Easy access to pool and beach and ample parking for guests!

Just perfect for what we wanted!

This unit worked great for my family with adult children. The property was clean and set up like we had requested. We loved the spaciousness of the unit and two sided patios were perfect for relaxing with coffee and a book in the morning, downtime in the afternoon or enjoying the sunset in the evening! The beach chairs and cooler were nice amenities.

Exactly what we wanted

The condo, resort and location are among our favorites from vacations over the years on Maui. This is the first Maui vacation with grandkids, and the condo and resort had space(s) for everyone to be happy! The property manager was excellent to work with from start to finish.

Hawaiian bliss

An absolutely beautiful property. Service was excellent. Location was excellent. Wish I was still there. Only note - the appliances were in rough shape. Fridge has broken shelves/door, dishwasher was not secured to cabinets, the stove door didn’t close properly and the bbq is a hazard with all the grease. At this price all of that should be taken care of. But still - a lovely spot.

A Bit Pricey Given Resort Limitations

Our vacation was absolutely wonderful - don't get me wrong. The problems we encountered weren't deal-breaker's by any means - but when you pay a premium price for the accomodations you wouldn't expect as many problems with key card access as we encountered. Also found the parking garages way too inadequate for the number of guests they had at the resort. If inside parking is one of the amenities - you would hope that you wouldn't have to use valet services or find your own parking on the grounds more than 50% of the time. If the price wasnt as steep this could have been easily overlooked.

The Honua Kai recently installed a digital locking system, and guests now simply enter a 4-digit code to access their unit. We apologize for the inconvenience and frustration you experienced in this regard. If the underground parking garage is full, guests are welcome to park in any unmarked spot on the resort parkway, or in the self-park lot across from the Hokulani Tower. Spring break

Generally happy with this property. Good location, beautiful grounds. Unfortunately we repeatedly had animal droppings on our lanai. Saw an animal on the lanai one evening. Called the management company who took 2 days to attend, left traps inside not outside without explaining to us. On final night had a dead animal in the trap. Very disturbing for the family. I understand this is a tropical location but we have visited many without this kind of incident. I requested cleaning of the lanai. Which turned out to be a light sweeping. Not good enough for the price we were paying.

Paradise!

We were a group of all adult family members; parents, a couple and a single over 26+ The unit was as pictured. Our only negative comments were the sofa couches are a bit used, as in the cushions sink, probably need to be replaced. The unit has a gorgeous L shaped balcony that looks at both the ocean and the mountains. The configuration of King en suite, Queen ensuite and Queen with hall bath worked out perfectly for us. Huge refrigerator and great appliances. Note that groceries on the island are quite expensive. There is a Times Market .3 of a mile away. We loved Duke's on property and they were our favorite place to eat. Love their HULA PIE!! As a resort guest you also have pool side service during the day, another +++ We loved the pools, towel exchange and walking the board walk and beach. This was a fabulous location. We didn't want to leave. The resort staff are wonderful. No issues with any of the key codes to get into the gated community and our residence. Aloha!!

Great Location and offering in a below average resort

The location of this unit was perfect. Easy access on 2nd floor from the pool/beach and parking garage. Beachfront view was great and was honestly pleased with the unit itself. Had everything we expected it to from the accurate online listing. The resort itself was mediocre at best. The pool was actually cloudy and packed and pretty gross and we rarely used it because of it. After finding the second maxi-pad floating in the pool we definitely were done with it. The resort itself is really the only knock here. It’s great because you get a 3 bedroom but otherwise that’s all it really has. Our main resort hallway wasn’t vacuumed once the entire time we were there and after day 4 of stepping over potato chips and trash it honestly became pretty annoying. The resort amenities are overall sub par compared to much of the Maui resorts I have stayed in previously. We booked this trip late and this was available so we tried it out. Definitely won’t return to this property only due to the resort overall. The property as a stand alone was great and I feel bad leaving a mediocre review… but for $2k+ a night you are largely paying for the resort. And the resort just wasn’t great if I am honest. It does have a sandy beach and great snorkeling. Dukes being on-site is nice also. There are just so many better resorts close by for the same or cheaper prices for far better, cleaner, and more modern resort offerings.

While we’re glad you enjoyed this condo, we are sorry to hear your overall experience and impression of the resort wasn’t favorable. The cloudy pool was attributed to an island-wide shortage of pool chemicals during this past summer, which has since been resolved. However, we are very sorry that there were other items floating about. The Honua Kai Association normally keeps the pool and grounds in excellent condition and we’re sincerely sorry this wasn’t the case during your stay. Amazing Oceanfront Views & Plenty of Space

We had a wonderful time vacationing in this large, beautiful unit. The extra-large outdoor balcony was the perfect place in the morning to watch the birds and in the evenings to catch the sunsets. The unit was very well appointed. The unit also has next door stairway access to make the trips to the beach/pool quick and easy.

Amazing

Konea 202 was the perfect location. It had a great view of the ocean! It was very clean and had some basics that helped out, like some laundry detergent, salt/pepper and beach chairs. We had 4 adults and 4 children and the kids loved the pull out sofa. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo!!!

We brought 5 teenagers (7 of us total) on the trip and the condo had more than enough room! It was one of the most beautiful condos that we have stayed in. The grounds were also beautiful and really fun!

Honua Kai Konea 202

This condo was very spacious for our family of six adults. The view is fabulous for morning coffee on the huge deck. We had the third bed split which made two twin beds. The beds were only like six inches apart. Just a little strange for the two young men sharing the room. There was nothing in the kitchen for cooking but salt, pepper and a little oil. The grocery store is close though! Overall wonderful property!

Honua Kai for Thanksgiving

The condo was beautiful, so spacious and nicely laid out. Amazing wrap around deck with views of the property, beach and sunrise. We would have liked the deck to be a bit cleaner but it was no biggie. There could have been a few more pantry supplies (seasonings, olive oil, foil, etc) but otherwise they had everything, even a turkey pan! We would stay again!

Awesome vacation venue

This place was not only a sufficient size for my party of six adults but also a luxury accommodation for us all. We had a lovely time. This ended up being a memorable trip as my oldest daughter got engaged during the trip. Highly recommend this property and Maui Rentals. Aloha. And Mahalo!
