Alt er lige her: Restauranter og butikker inden for nem gåafstand. Og livlig Siesta Key Village med sine hyggelige butikker og natteliv er kun en hurtig køretur op ad vejen. Der er også en gratis vogn til at tage dig op og ned Siesta Key, så du behøver ikke at køre.

Great place to stay - pre or post cruise

Stayed at the property prior to our cruise out of port canaveral. Was perfect for our needs - steps to the beach and close to many stores/cafes/etc. would definitely stay again.

Great Vacation

Sunshine getaway

Nice 2 bedroom close to everything we needed, pool; beach, shops, restaurants, drug store and even walk across the bridge to take boat tours. We could get out of the driveway easily which was a plus for that area. Loved that there was a washer and dryer and the beach supplies were awesome.

Amazing location, close to all our favorites!

This property has a lot going for it. #1 is Location. Close to shopping plaza and a hidden gem of SK in Big Water Fish Market. The freshest fish sandwiches and entrees you will find anywhere! Short walk to Crescent Club, Sniki Tiki, Jake's Ice Cream and many others! Unit has laundry and all the necessary gear for the beach. Would definitely stay again!

Drift Inn

Good location, easy walk to beach and pool. Great fish market across the street and you can really get just about anything in a walkable distance. A little noisy because your right off the main road but we knew that when we booked, very busy time of year. Property owner John was responsive to questions. The patio area could use a little maintenance, overall a nice visit.

Good location

We’ve stayed here before, easy access to beach and pool. Road noise a little loud. Since patio is in front. Owner John quick to reply to concerns. My only suggestion is outside areas could use some maintenance.

Very nice place, full kitchen plenty space, close to the several beaches, trolley stop steps away from the condo. Private, laundry room in back. Restaurants/bars, 7 Eleven, drug store, ice cream shops across the street. Downtown Sarasota about 8 miles away, mini mall & Publix about 1.2 miles away. The host was very responsive and polite. Will definitely stay in this place next time I visit Siesta Key.

Sandy floors

Everything was great except the sandy floors. As soon as i walked in, i could feel the sand underfoot. Owner needs to get after cleaning staff or get a new vacuum designed for bare floors or both! Great location.

Great location & Feels like your own cabin!

This is a great location & rental home. It’s a block walk or less from everything you might need, food, treats, beach, pool, & gift shops. The hosts have it stocked so your family can fly in and have a great vacation without packing or having to buy everything and washer & dryer so we could wash. The beach is great & fun shell hunting. The heated pool was amazing since we hit a chilly week in December. This unit is part of a duplex - we rented both sides so grandparents could join us - and it worked out perfect! Highly recommend if you have a group bigger than 4 or 2 families and want to vacation together, but nice to have a bit of your own space/separation.

Good location and nice property

The house was perfect for a long weekend. Communication with the owner was great. All information about access and amenities was sent well in advance of check-in, which was nice to not have to worry about as we were preparing to travel. The house was clean and had a lot of basic items, like soap, paper towel, and the kitchen seemed well-stocked, if one wanted to cook (we did not while we were there). The inclusion of beach towels, chairs, umbrella was really helpful. We did not find it loud or bright at night, even being on a somewhat busy road, and the location was perfect for the beach and walking to restaurants. The heated pool was great, particularly when we had a rainy and cool day. This house is perfect for a couple or family of 4 and we enjoyed our stay.

Great place

Great place for my family and I to stay. Awesome location. Short walk to the beach. Beach is gated, but they give you a code to get in. About a half block away from restaurants and bars that had live music. Was not loud and couldnt hear it at night. Peaceful place. There is a trolley/bus stop right outside. That was very convenient. We loved the beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon. There were several other beach toys to use. This was great for us and our child. The place was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great time!

DRIFT INN UNIT B

The "stay" was good. Great location, close to most beautiful sandy beaches. Great trolley and restaurants nearby or easy to get to...townhouse was clean, well equipped on the positive side; on the negative, if you are disabled, or have to be seated getting in the shower/tub, you are going to have problems in that bathroom. It has shower doors that you can barely bypass to get to the tub and tiny bathroom. Dangerous for me to shower as I have a disability; shower doors should be TAKEN DOWN AND REPLACED WITIH A CURTAIN. Very dangerous and slippery, a nightmare to shower for me.

Returning home with spider bites galore

The location and setup of this condo were wonderful! The couches had no cushion left to them and simply felt the pressure of the boards into your back and buttox, not to mention the occasional spider crawling across your arm. We also dealt with spiders (several at a time) crawling across the stovetop, counters and cupboards. I did speak with John about this and he requested his cleaner come check on things, however bugs continued. He was kind enough to refund us an amount as we were not comfortable preparing any in home meals with these conditions. I returned home last evening with a total of 6 spider bites on my legs. Thankfully none on my child. If we hadn’t dealt with the old worn out couches and spiders everywhere, I would have considered renting this property in the future.

Poor furnishings

This is first time in all my years with VRBO we were disappointed as I am a positive reviewer and always keep properties clean as if my own. Due due to inclement weather we were indoors more than anticipated. John, when we asked about having no access to Sling TV told us we could move the very small bedroom tv into the front room…and then move it back…seriously rather than troubleshooting? Frankly the furniture was terrible, both loveseats need replaced and the condition of concrete floor was surprising with worn areas in the kitchen. Location was great as why we booked so it was beautiful as expected but accommodations were the downside and wouldn’t want another renter to books as the owner needs to update. Will not recommend or stay again. I don’t like to be negative but did want to share.

Amazing location !

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on a weekend getaway trip. We were not disappointed! When you walk into the home there is a tv and new couches, felt very clean. The two bedrooms are small but there is nice furniture to put your things in. The bathroom is in the hall right by the bedrooms. The mirror is large so two can get ready at the same time. The floor to the home is terrazzo but there is a rug in the bathroom. The queen bed is very comfortable and not sagging in. There was quite a bit of light shining into the bedroom but I saw that on a review and brought black trash bags and tape to put up. This solved the problem for me. The noise wasn’t that bad but I always bring a sound machine to sleep as well. We didn’t notice any noise from our neighbors being in the home next to us. The kitchen was stocked with plates, silverware and necessities like hand soap and dish tabs. We came from a flight and brought very little and also bought very little for our weekend stay. Best part! The walk is short to the pool and beach area. The pool area is amazing. Plenty of sun shines in and the bathrooms there are very handy and were clean. The chairs we’re comfortable too. Right behind the pool is the entrance to the beach. The nice beach items provided are in a small shed behind but attached to your unit. This is shared with the other unit. Ride and paddle is right across the road and the trolley can take you into town for dinner and shops. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving week

My family and I stayed at the property thanksgiving week. Very conveniently located, a drug store, convenience store and quite a few restaurants across the street. There is also a trolly stop just across the street. The place was very well stocked with everything you need. The beach and pool access are a short walk behind the property. If you are staying during prime season keep in mind you are only allowed a very narrow strip of beach to sit on and there is a pipeline from the bay that sit along that spot. Siesta key beach is 1.5 miles away and you can catch the trolly at the stop. Owner provides great beach equipment! Not the cheap stuff! My only recommendation to the owner is to install some room darkening curtains in queen bedroom because the lights from the street and businesses is very bright at night.

Great place

We loved staying here. It was just like the pictures. Everything was clean and even though it is close to the road, it was quiet. We really liked the keyless entry and that we were able to park close to the front door. We would definitely recommend.
