Sandy Beach on Gull Lake Chain

3 bedroom home that can sleep up to 8 people (rate based on 6, please enquire if you have more than 6). On quiet round lake with access to Gull and all the fun it has to offer. Best of both worlds!!! Sandy beach, great sand bottom lakefront.

3 bedrooms, 1 bedroom with king bed, 2 bedrooms with queen beds, breezeway areas with twin and full beds, and large porch with two futons that convert to comfy beds also.

Boat is not included and not available for rent. There is a rental place right down the road that will deliver any toys you’d like to use on the lake.

Other amenities included: WiFi, Netflix/Amazon Prime, YouTube TV for regular channels, central air, full kitchen, use of patio furniture with propane and Weber gas grill. Outdoor games such as bean bags, Kan Jam, giant Jenga, bucket golf, etc. Large patio table with built in gas fire overlooking the lake and a portable fire pit for evening bonfires. You’re going to love it here!

Thanks Tom for letting us stay at your family’s cabin. Our family had a great time and everyone enjoyed their stay your Round Lake cabin. The location was very easy to get to. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The beach area was great and the lake water is so clear.

Relaxing Cabin

Excellent weeks vacation! Cabin was perfect size for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Bonus our fur baby got to come with! Loved the deck overlooking the lake for morning coffee. Spent everyday in the water.

WONDERFUL!

Wonderful place to stay! Everything was great, the beach was awesome, the yard was great for games, the deck was great for the morning coffee, the owner was great with communcation....we will definitely be renting this property again!

Great place...great location...and we could bring our dog!!!

Hard to find many options for pets and this place was perfect for our family. We only stayed a long weekend but there is so much to do in the area, we could go back for a full week and not do it all. Tom was great, communication was excellent and we would recommend this place to everyone!

Great location

Great location on a good smaller lake that worked well for swimming and boating. Pleasant beach area. Only complaints are the hazard of some rotted deck boards and the lack of enough chairs and dishes for dining.

Fun Weekend at the Lake

This property was perfect for our family of 5 plus dog. There was room for more if you have a bigger group. The beach area was great for kids to swim and jump on a lily pad. Everything was comfortable and we would definitely rent again.

Very relaxing and well kept

Close to Brainerd/Baxter and Nisswa. Clear clean lake visited daily by a pair of eagles. Indescribable, must be experienced.

Great lake cabin

Loved our stay here, family with 5/8/10 year old plus dog. Cabin was perfect, kitchen, 4 bedrooms plus sun room with futons, large kitchen/dining, and living room. Big sandy beach plus dock. Only downside is water does not get more than 3-4 feet deep. Lake is very clean, not green at all. Will be going back!!

Last chance summer vaca

It was just what we needed! Weather could have cooperated a bit more. Spent a lazy week hanging out in the cabin, on the deck and in the lake.

great time with friends

we had such a great time staying here. the weather wasn’t the best but we still managed to get some time in the water and soak up some sun. the space was fairly clean considering it allows pets but i did smell pet urine inside upon arrival and carpet had pet stains. bathtub could also use a major update to go with the rest of the house. thanks for hosting us!

Perfect for our family of 4 and our dog!

Clean and the beds were so comfy! We would have liked and additional bathroom, but overall the place worked well for our family and it was nice to able to bring our dog. Well equipped kitchen with updated appliances. Lots of space in the four season porch which had a TV and beautiful views of the lake. The fire table outside overlooking the beach was great too! Unfortunately we were only able to use one time because of all the rain we had. One recommendation would be to install a light for the yard, it was pretty dark at night. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Great fun! Easy to stay here!

This property was wonderful for our multi generation group. The amenities were plentiful but we really appreciated laundry and being pet friendly. Our dog loved the dog bed provided. Everything was well stocked. We loved having separate areas ( ie TV's) for us to use. The outdoor amenities were great too. We loved the deck overlooking the beach area. It was great to be able to see kids playing and the beautiful view. We loved having such shallow water for the littles in our group. We rented a Pontoon for a day from Dockside Rentals and the were easy to work with as well. A member of our group is handicapped and while this property isn't specially accessible it worked for her and she was able to get around OK. It's difficult to find places that work for a multitude of people but this place did. We also appreciated the comfort of the beds!! And fans in each room!!

Good if you have pets

If you have a pet - this would be an ideal place. Upon arriving, the urine smell and dog smell was so strong we were very grossed out. The carpet was also covered in urine stains. We had little ones and did not like them playing on the carpet with all the pet stains, felt very dirty. The listing says 5 bedrooms, but it is 4 bedrooms with a porch that is not private. We also arrived to very long grass that we ended up mowing ourselves. We messaged the host and he did tell us he usually cuts it but was too wet and was gonna come out in a couple days to cut it but that would have been at the end of our trip so we took it upon ourselves to get it cut. Postives - our kids enjoyed the sandy beach and the location was great.

Fantastic Family Vacation

This property was fantastic. It had everything you needed and was easy to feel right at home. It had 3 traditional bedrooms plus a bonus room with bunk beds. There was a den with 2 futons for even more sleeping options. It was so nice to have the amenities of home (Wifi, streaming services). The cabin is up on a hill with about 15 steps to the sandy beach. It was great for the kids to build sand castles. The lake is very shallow for quite a ways past the dock. The lake is also connected with Gull which gives you access to Zorbaz, Ernie’s, the sand bar and lots more lake to explore. To get to Gull, you need to go through a very small tunnel. It’s doable with a few people to help spot. The neighbors were all very friendly. It was close to town which was great for groceries and going out to eat. Tom, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. We definitely hope to make a return visit soon!
