Relais MAFOLI 'er et lyst herregård fra slutningen af det 19. århundrede, beliggende i hjertet af det historiske Napoli.
Placeringen mellem centre for historisk / kulturel interesse og transportområder er strategisk for en uforglemmelig rejseoplevelse.
Familiens palads, der er bygget af ejerens forfædre, er faktisk beliggende i det centrale Corso Umberto I, meget tæt på både de smukkeste gader og pladser i byen, såsom Piazza del Gesù, Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, via Duomo, via Spaccanapoli, let tilgængelig fra gå både til centralstationen, til metroen og til Circumvesuviana (alle to hundrede meter fra slottet) og otte hundrede meter fra havnen.

Det vil derfor være hurtigt og nemt at planlægge en tur til de nærliggende øer Capri, Ischia eller Procida eller tage en tur gennem udgravningerne i Pompeji eller besøge Positano eller Amalfi. l'appartement est grand,lumineux,et trés bien placé.La porte de la grande chambre donnant sur le salon ne se ferme pas, la douche d'une des salles de bain est compliquée à régler, et il faudrait rajouter des verres à vin et des casseroles.L'ascenceur s'est bloqué à deux reprises durant notre séjour d'une semaine, alors faites attention!Nous n'avons pas rencontré notre hôte, mais les échanges ont été sympathiques.Le matelas de la grande chambre mériterait d'étre changé.Nous avons l'habitude de voyager, nous nous adaptons facilement!

Pros: Spacious location, elevator access is niceCons: place needs some TLC, looks a little worn down/broken in a few areas.Red flag (fixable): Hot/warm water was extremely lacking, running out very quickly in under 3 minutes. We had a shorter stay, so by the time we realized, we didn’t really have time to have it addressed during our stay.

We did not stay in the rental due to cracks in the paint, hair on the bed, bath towels with holes in them. The most disturbing condition was the presence of mold, which is a health hazard. We were refunded some, but not all of the money we paid. Our family was forced to find another rental at last minute.I cannot recommend this rental.

Liked the location but disappointed in the apartment

Vittorio was a great host with wonderful communication, and the location near Spaccanopoli was fantastic. Unfortunately, the apartment was disappointing. We could only comfortably use about half of the space due to the heat. The air conditioning was only in two of the bedrooms. Although it was listed as a 4-bedroom apartment, one of the bedrooms was connected directly to another bedroom with no private entrance and the other had no air conditioning. Because of this, we had to move everyone into the two air conditioned rooms.The kitchen, back bedroom and both bathrooms were EXTREMELY hot. The refrigerator was tiny and had no room for left overs or drinks. The living room furniture needs updated. The couches were small and uncomfortable which made it impossible to gather there as a group. We would gladly stay here again if some updates were completed including more air conditioners, updated furniture and a bigger refrigerator..

The kitchen and the bathrooms were old. They need to be upgraded. The kitchen was so small and out dated. The place location is extremely noisy. However, our host was extremely nice and responsive. If you like the crowds, the city noise, and places to eat and shops in walking distance, then this is the place for you. It's just not for our family.

The location is good, I probably wouldn't go with a car, needs better equipment and some TLC. Vittorio was very friendly and help during our stay.

Disappointing

When we arrived in 95 heat after dragging our luggage from the train station and notifying the host what time we would be arriving the "a/c" listed in the description was not even turned on to cool down the apartment for our arrival during a heat wave. When we asked about the a/c situation we discovered only two bedrooms of the 1500 sq ft had a/c. Nothing on the entire right side (kitchen, 1 bedroom and both bathrooms as well as the living area and 4th bedroom were stifling). When pressed to request a resolution to this the host offered to buy two fans which were brought that evening and said while we were gone on an excursion the following day he would have his worker install two new air conditioning units. That night we had to sleep with the windows open just to get some airflow and heard the traffic all night and covered in sweat. Obviously a sleepless night.No air conditioning when we returned the next day. Stifling heat again so had to move the sleeper sofa into the bedroom that had some a/c, and both fans,close doo to get some relief. Was told he couldn't get an answer from the man who was supposed to install the a/c and they don't work on the weekends. The "fridge" barely cooled anything (dorm style cooler basically). The property is very aged, furniture, stained ceilings, etc. We've traveled all over the world, stayed at many rentals and this ranks among the worst experiences. The host was a very sweet gentleman but it definitely put a damper on our trip to Naples.

The property and owner were very gracious. We had an unfortunate travel delay with a flight cancelation and rented a car to drive in but arrived very late (very early) at 3:30 am. The owner was kind enough to work with us on the check in and we were able to successfully keep our plans for the morning of our arrival. The apartment is near the train station and Naples is a city that the roughness grows on you. We were near Spacanpoli and enjoyed exploring the area. A pizza making class was one of the highlights and was the best pizza we had in Italy! We had a day in Capri and explored Vesuvius and Pompeii during our short stay.

A perfect apartment for our two day stopover in Naples in the heart of the old quarter. Traditional but welcoming with a feeling of grandeur. Our host Vittorio made us very welcome and pointed out the highlights of the area.

Characterful apartment in fabulous location

Spacious and interesting apartment in vibrant area of city. Easy walking distance of street markets, supermarket, historic quarter and beyond. Metro and train station easy 15 minute walk away. We loved this quirky apartment and Vittorio was very helpful in responding promptly to any queries.

Naples central

Love the space we had for 4 adults. The apartment was located within walking distance to many attractions. Restaurants were all over the place. Best pizza is right around the corner.

Great Location, Friendly Host

The host was very responsive on WhatsApp, and he allowed us to check in early in the day. The apartment was huge, which was perfect for our family of 5.The location is a really quick walk from the train station, which was important to us because we wanted to venture out to Herculaneum & Pompeii while we were there.But, we also wandered all over the city by foot. While the graffiti and old nature of the area may be startling to some, we found charm in it and wandered the old streets, shops, produce vendors, etc.Taxis are available quickly. But, we normally choose to walk.The host recommended places to eat. We visited the pizza spot he mentioned twice, because it was tasty and economical.

Absolut zentrale Lage, sehr großzügige Ferienwohnung.

Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut, ebenso der Empfang bei Ankunft. Die Wohnung war vollkommen ausreichend ausgestattet, die Betten waren sehr gut. Jedes Zimmer hatte Balkon und war gut abdunkelbar in der Nacht. Der Straßenlärm wurde gut gedämmt durch Doppelverglasung. Zudem ist die Wohnung im vierten und obersten Stock. Der Aufzug funktionierte sehr gut, im Haus war keinerlei Lärmbelästigung. Praktisch alle interessanten Strassen, Plätze und Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr leicht zu Fuß, oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Die gesamte Altstadtregion umgibt den alten Wohn-Palazzo. Cafes, Bars/Restaurants, und unzählbare Geschäfte waren in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Da wir am Abreisetag einen Abendflug hatten, durften wir unser Gepäck bis zum Nachmittag in der FEWO deponieren. Wir waren rundum zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und der Stadt Neapel insgesamt und können nur empfehlen diese FEWO zu buchen.

Our lemon at Naples's

This location was amazing! Has so much space! Rooms are very spacious The Lift was a great help! Beds were very hard on our backs! Restrooms are ok, but could use a new shower curtain & cleaning! Advice, when traveling abroad, leave 1 or 2 outfits behind, just so you can take a couple of your own towels, these towels were rough! Also, be very careful, using your credit card is better for purchases & taxis! A-lot of Gypsy Thieves! They will pick pocket you in a minute!

Muy parecido a lo que esperábamos, buena zona, decoración vieja y edificio decadente muy napolitano. Las duchas podrían estar un poco mejor.

Fijn verblijf op zeer centrale plek

Lovely Naples apartment

We had two lovely nights in Vittorio's apartment. It is on the main road and is close enough to walk to everything, The apartment is spacious and air conditioned, so cool after a hot day of exploring. It has a faded, quirky grandeur about it that we found appealing. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen seemed to have everything. Vittorio is a very welcoming and attentive host, and we would recommend Vittorios place. Thank you Vittorio.

Napoli stay June 2024

The appartment is as advertised. On the 4th floor but there is a lift. Nice small balcony overlooking the street. The street is VERY busy. There is noise pretty well all through the night. Emergency vehicles, horns...LOTS of horns. The location os great. Less than 10min walk to the train station and a 12 Euro ride or 30min walk to the Spanish Quarters. Or the docks. The interior could use a facelift but it is an old building with old school charm. Bathrooms are tiny and the shower is comparable to a camp shower. There is a kitchen but we did not use it. Seems well stocked though. Lots of restaurants around as well. If we had to we would stay again.

Good Location for sightseeing

Excellent location for transport links to all major attractions such as Pompei, Vesuvious, Sorrento and even Rome. Communication from host prior to our stay excellent including provision of lots of info provided within the apartment, maps, brochures etc. However very noisy with being on the main road so we found sleeping a little difficult and beds very firm! Apartment itself is very spacious but we felt better suited to 6 people (We were party of 7) using the 3 double bedrooms as the single room adjoins and is accessed via one of these doubles which restricts privacy and using the sofa bed in the lounge means minimal communal area to sit or eat together. Showers powerful enough but pretty small and also is fridge for the potential ammount of guests. Listing says "Hot tub"but we found no sign of this? Overall we enjoyed our stay but agree with some previous reviews that the apartment is tired and is need of some upgrading.

Highly recommendable

The apartment is amazing and the location couldn't be better - the main train station, the port, and the historical centre are all reachable on foot. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 with double beds, and one with a single bed, that is accessible only through one of the other rooms. There is a balcony off all of the rooms, and off the living room. There are 2 bathrooms. They are small but the water pressure is excellent. Vittorio was a wonderful host, and he and his people were great to deal with. A point to note - traffic in Naples is loud, so we used earplugs to sleep and that worked well for us. I would recommend this apartment.
