A great stay in a great location

This was a great little spot for me and my partner. Plus, the location in Kihei is perfect! Lots to do within walking distance. Would stay again!

Little getaway with my husband

The hostess was wonderful and check in was so easy. Parking was great as well. However, I think my husband and I I would look for a place that was a little bigger next time. The room was cute but started to feel a bit claustrophobic and the air circulation wasn’t always the best. All the more reason to explore the beautiful island of Maui!

Great location

This is a small cozy studio in a great location. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Can be a bit noisy if you like to go to bed early from the music at the Maui gardens but this ends at 8pm most nights. One night during our stay it ended at 9pm. Get yourself some ear plugs and you should be good.

Stressful beginning

When we arrived, we could not get the passcode to work. We could not get hold of the property manager. We left the property made other arrangements for the night and finally contacted the owner. The owner‘s daughter who was managing the property got back to us later that night. It was extremely stressful. The next day, after confirming the correct password, we went back to try again. Again, the passcode did not work. We finally phoned the owner who remotely let us into the apartment and shared a lock box with a key so I would have access. The daughter (manager) showed up a few hours later and the passcode would not work for her at first. She had to keep resetting with a phone app and finally got the passcode to work. After checking with Vrbo, I was told I would be getting a refund for that missed night. The host lied to Vrbo. We did not receive the refund.The daughter (manager) told me her mother had already sent the refund but I have received nothing.I do not blame VRBO for this fiasco. The host host was less than truthful. Communication communications with VRBO were excellent.The property itself was quite acceptable, and the location is excellent. There was an issue with the Internet, which kept cutting in and out.

Cute room

Nice location, across the street from the beach. I was attending a conference in Wailea and the drive was easy. I also enjoyed walking/running in the morning. Bring a headlamp if you want to go out before sunrise. I slept with earplugs one night as the music from the food truck area was loud. The other nights were not an issue. The parking is on the street due to construction. It gets busy on the weekend afternoon/evening. Any other times, there was ample parking. There is an elevator in the middle section.

Great spot! Perfect Location! Awesome Host!

Right in central Kihei this place was well situated, super clean, attentive host and even ADA. Highly recommend staying here. It was perfect.

Would give 10 stars if i could!

My boyfriend and I were visiting from Oahu and this was the perfect home away from home! The location is excellent (walking distance to the beach, park, restaurants and bars) as well as the convenience store right in the same building. Plus free, plentiful parking!! The unit itself is extremely clean, modern and well-decorated. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Kihei. Mahalo Brooke!

Simple and Lovely

A great launchpad for our trip - convenient and comfortable!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here for over a week and the local beach and restaurant recommendations from Brooke were top-notch! It was nice to have convenient, free parking and be in a low-key location where good restaurants and entertainment were plentiful. We took advantage of so many things within a few minutes walk and the park w/ nearby beach across the street was lovely in the morning. The room was comfortable and it was nice to have some beach items (chairs/umbrella/small cooler) available to use. I was also impressed to see that the room is well set-up for ADA accessibility with a roomy roll-in shower and many handrails. There is no kitchenette but that didn't bother us as we occasionally made sandwiches in the room but mostly went out for dinner or picnics throughout the week. We would definitely come back for another stay or recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to call 'home base' while visiting Kihei! Brooke was also very reasonable and easy to communicate with - smooth sailing all the way!

Cozy and thoughtfully designed abode

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here! It was our first time visiting Maui. We were looking for an affordable and centrally located room that felt updated instead of the typical "80's island condo" styled rooms. This room was everything we hoped and expected it to be. We loved the proximity to the beach, shops and food. Brooke gave us great suggestions on places to eat and visit. She was also prompt in replying to our questions about the room. The cleaning service had changed the door passcode, so upon arrival we couldn't get in. But Brooke quickly responded with the new code and we got in just fine. Having the mini fridge was so helpful. Our only suggestion would be to add a microwave if possible. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Walking distance to all that Kihei has to offer from bars and restaurants in the Triangle to South Maui Gardens - home to 14 of Maui's best food trucks in a lush tropical setting with water, fountains, and statues. Luaus, Hula shows, Comedy Shows, Farmers Market, free movie night and live entertainment.

Gorgeous beaches and turtle or whale watching just a short stroll across the street.
