Skylights og skyderen i stuen og soveværelset giver mulighed for lys og en luftstrøm. Der er en stor pejs til kølige nætter og en udendørs bruser til din komfort. Nye møbler med plads til otte pryder det generøse bagdæk inklusive en Weber grill. Den forreste græsplæne var for nylig anlagt med hortensiaer og andre former for plantager. Børn kan nemt kaste en fodbold eller spille et spil med tag. Master bedroom har en queen size seng og badeværelse m / bruser / karbad. Andet soveværelse har en queen size seng. Tredje soveværelse har to enkeltsenge. Denne ejendom er en tre blok cykeltur til byen, en mile tur til Tashmoo Beach / Pond. To blokke fra Tisbury bibliotek. De tilbyder internetadgang, bibliotekskort til besøgende, skakklub for børn tirsdag aften. Det er en fantastisk beliggenhed, privat endnu tilgængelig for Vineyard Haven / Tisbury, strand og cykling.

Fantastic house in quiet location

We had a wonderful trip and greatly enjoyed our stay at this home. Plenty of room for us all and the home is nicely updated.

Thank you ! This 1950’s classic cape was remodeled several years ago. Floor plan is open and bedrooms are not close to one another. Ceilings are high. New bathroom and outdoor shower fixtures were installed this year. As well as two new outdoor cushy lounge chairs.

This is a great house. Great home owner and property manager. This is the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental. I would definitely rent this again.

Our stay at this Vineyard Haven property was quiet and peaceful. The home was clean, spacious, and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. I would love to purchase a similar home here.

Great Stay in Vineyard Haven

The house is lovely and was just as represented in the photos. It is comfortable and was very clean. It is walking distance to downtown Vineyard Haven and accessible to all parts of the island. Bertie is super friendly and easy to reach.Highky recommend and would rent again.

Well Appointed Cottage

Had a lovely stay with my husband and our adult child. This feels more like a home, less like a rental, and is fully equipped and lovingly appointed with everything you need. The owner was very helpful and made sure we had a wonderful vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental.

We are so thankful for renters who appreciate the care put into our home and leave it so nicely as this family did. Periodically, I clean out drawers. Replace beds with new sheets etc.. This year all rooms were painted and refreshed with new colors! A new 65” TV was added and a new sofa.

Great property, very close to Vineyard Haven

This was a very clean, fully stocked house just a 12 minute stroll to the heart of Vineyard Haven. It was super convenient having everything we needed from beach towels to kitchenware, even spices and basics, all available to us. An added bonus was the turkey that seems to live in the yard that greeted us every morning.

Perfect Location

Being a repeat customer pretty much says it all! Bertie is a very gracious host and her VH home lacks for nothing. If you are looking for a great location for a nice and relaxing Vineyard family vacation then look no further!

Having return renters who enjoy our home and the island is wonderful. I appreciate so much when someone recognizes i really try to keep the house and amenities updated. This year we added a 43” smart TV in the open area and one in the master bedroom. Also, to the deck we added two cushy chaise lounge chairs and new outdoor shower hardware. So happy you found tranquility!

The Vineyard is a Gem!

Top notch stay in Vineyard Haven! Bertie has been a delight to help guide our first time on Martha Vineyards! Her home has everything you need to be relaxed and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to town yet in a location that is quiet and serene. I see why so many come back year after year, lots of great beaches, bicyclists, walkers etc etc. Thank you for our excellent stay!

Vineyard Haven haven

Lovely place, well-layed out and comfortable: space to hang out inside and out, sleep, eat, and be close to family and restaurants. We didn't cook much- but could've. The owner graciously offered us fresh tomatoes, basil & peppers from pots on the deck, and was very responsive to any questions we had. Very enjoyable!

We appreciate that our guests were comfortable. The 1950s house was opened up connecting the kitchen dining room and living room with a vaulted ceiling. A good sense of space with skylights and two sliding doors. Thanks for commenting on the vegetables on the deck. We just put a new table and umbrella for our guests.

Relaxing week on the Vineyard

We had a very relaxing vacation at this house. This was due to the property owner, Bertie, who was in constant contact with us before and during our stay. She really took care of everything and gave us great advice. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to cook meals, play games and even beach chairs for the beach. Bertie has thought of everything and truly wants you to have a great vacation. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Another Great Year at the Vineyard!

This is our first time at this rental. We were VERY happy with what we discovered having only seen it on the website. The location is great. The house is comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. The yard had enough room for wiffle ball and running around for the kids. The beds were comfy -- no complaints at all! Thank you Bertie -- we'll be back. The Fox Family of NJ

Charming, clean, and perfectly located beach house

We can't say enough good things about our stay. The owner was very helpful from the moment we booked until we left (including securing the ferry rides!). The home was just as described. The open kitchen family/ room was perfect. It was very clean and had all of the necessary amenities. And the outdoor shower was great for beach days. The location was great - a 10-15 minute walk to town and a 5-10 minute drive to Tashmoo beach for sunsets, paddleboarding, and fishing. South beach was a short 20 minute drive. We had a wonderful week!

Family Vacation

Our family had a relaxing vacation time at Bertie’s comfortable home. Bertie kept in touch with us, and gave us many helpful tips on local sights to see, and restaurants to try. Home is centrally located to town, public transportation, and local beach.We were unable to get ferry passes for car.We decided to get bus passes for the week. We easily traveled the entire island, and had a great time. Internet was not working when we arrived. We informed Bertie of outage, and cable company was promptly contacted. While internet was out we spent family time together playing games together that were thoughtful left for guests by Bertie. Definitely a memorable, fun, and relaxing vacation!!

Home away from home

From our first contact with Bertie, to the very end and even after we left our week long stay, our experience was more than we certainly imagined. She is a great and valuable resource from the very beginning; always providing us with a wealth of island information that was very beneficial to our entire party and for the length of our stay. Her personality is energetic, positive, sincere, and inviting. We developed a great rapport with her and she always made herself available to us before, during, and after our indulgent stay. The home was immaculate with every necessity at our finger tips. Our party consisted of five adults and one infant with room for one more adult. The home is vibrant and welcoming. Coming back to the home from long days at the beach, extensive bike rides, or eating local cuisines, always felt right and refreshing. The home is updated throughout, much better than similarly priced places. There is ample space throughout the yard and deck. Quiet neighborhood and walking/biking minutes from a few nearby small beaches. We look forward to enjoying time well spent there again with a wonderful home owner! Thank you Bertie!!

Back for year 2!

This is the 2nd year our family has stayed in this property and we loved it even more this time around! Super convenient location, everything is very clean and in great condition - lots of great updates from last year to this year - and the owner is just wonderful. Wish we could stay longer than one week!

I appreciate great families returning to our home. We try our best to update and maintain our home. This past year we installed new faucets and shower fixtures. Installed a new heating system. Comfortable cushioned chaise lounge chairs were added to the deck and more.

Great vacation home!

Loved our stay here. House was very well equipped and very clean. Great outside deck to relax on. Enjoyed the outdoor shower. Very quiet area yet close to Vineyard Haven. Nice to walk into town for breakfast or dinner. Did not want to leave! The owner Bertie was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back.

So appreciative of a good review. Its good to hear the cleaning crew is doing a good job. This year as home owners we freshened up the house installing new outdoor shower apparatus, staining the deck and painting entry way steps. Last year a renter let me know during their stay we did not have a wooden salad bowl. It broke, so i was happy to take a shopping trip and purchase a new cherry wood bowl and a few other things (smile). It is a pleasure to have renters who appreciate our home and love the island. Thank you !

Very nice property. Good Location. Highly Reccomend.

We enjoyed the rental house very much. The home and property were clean and attractive and well maintained. The space was more than adequate for our family of four and the environment was very relaxing and enjoyable. The location of the property was very good with respect to proximity to downtown Vineyard Haven, and access to major travel ways out of town. The property owner was delightful, helpful and very easy to work worth. We would definitely stay at this property again in the future. I can not reccomend it more.

Perfect Getaway in MV

We stayed at Bertie's place in Vineyard Haven during the last week in August and turned out to be a terrific week to be in the Vineyard and a good location to set up shop for the week. First of all Bertie was great to work with. She was incredibly responsive and had a ton of great suggestions for us in terms of beaches to check out, places to go and restaurants to eat at which was especially helpful for first time goers on the Vineyard and with two small kids ages 6 and 3. The house was nice and had plenty of space for us. We loved the outside deck and the kids enjoyed the yard to play in. The house was also in a good location. Just a few minutes drive into Vineyard Haven and Tashmoo Beach. Having a car is a must in MV as we spent the week checking out the whole island which was quite big and has a lot to offer. Overall, a really nice week. Thanks again Bertie!

Great experience!

Great property that is centrally located. We were able to run/ride bikes about anywhere. Quick walk to downtown Vineyard Haven. Take the backroads to a great secluded beach and lake. Great deck to relax on. We had a great time and would love to return!

Wonderful Vacation Home!

My family looks forward to our week on MV all year long! It has now become one of our family traditions! Bertie has made this house feel like your own home--kids games and puzzles in the family room, extra beach chairs outside the back door, new updates every year. The bedrooms are lovely and comfortable--the kids even love sharing a room in twin beds for a week! Even after 4 years, the house never looks old or worn--it has owners who maintain it the way you would your own home! We love the close walk to town (only a 15-20 min leisurely walk with kids in tow), the outdoor shower, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and especially the wild turkey friends that we see each day! It is in a great spot to enjoy the rest of the island--but we always say we should come 2 weeks one year because it is so relaxing just staying close to the house. You know you've found a great place when your hear your child referring to the house as "our house"! Thanks Bertie!

Great Home away from Home

My family and I spent Labor Day week at this charming home. Bertie was wonderful to work with and the house was exactly as described. It was well appointed with everything we needed to enjoy daily trips to the many beaches on the island and was clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower was fantastic, especially after days on the beach, but my husband ONLY used the outdoor shower he liked it so much. It was VERY easy to get to and so convenient to everything we wanted to do in Vineyard Haven, walking distance in fact. The neighborhood was quiet and we even had a family of wild turkeys visit us every morning. I look forward to our trip next year!!

We appreciate a great review and are so happy when a family enjoys this magical island. The house is filled with goods vibes from so many wonderful people staying there. It is awesome for adults and teens to have the freedom to walk or bike into town so easily. We work at keeping up the standards of our home. This year we added new beach towels, new carpets and new cushions for the big comfortable rocker.

Had a wonderful time

My family and I have spent the same week in August on Martha's Vineyard since my 10 yr old boys where 1 yrs old. We enjoy it so much that we schedule the following year within weeks of returning home. Each time we stay, we enjoy staying in different towns throught the island for a new experience. This year we came to stay at this home and felt very comfortable there. The airconditioning was an extra bonus that some homes we've stayed in past years did not have.The home is at the end of a quiet street away from the traffic noise, but close enough to walk down the road to the shops and restaurants, very convenient. We found that the home was spacious enough for the 6 of us enjoy. Everything was well maintained and very clean. I would definilty recommend a couple or a familty such as ours to stay here. Your sure to have a pleasant time. We hope to go back and stay there next year!!

Every year we try to do something to help maintain the homes integrity and keep it looking new. We really appreciate renters who have helped to keep our home so appealing and comfortable.
