Excellent View

Fantastic views and a great location for our stay with friends.Perfect for the ferry and visiting various villas.Good secure car parking, excellent pool and Claudine provided another fan when the temperature hit 34 degrees.Only downside was no BBQ as advertised.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful holiday apartment with its fantastic view of Lake Como. The landlady is very friendly and accommodating.From Sala Comacina, you can explore a number of interesting sights. You can take boat and ship tours and do plenty of walking

Thank you for your wonderful review. "Escale Incanto" enjoys an exceptional location. Situated on the Greenway, it is a true delight for hikers. It is close to magnificent sites such as Villa Carlotta, Isola Comacina, and Villa Balbaniello, accessible on foot or by boat; visits are therefore very easy for guests. For those who don't want to travel by car, the bus stop is located at the foot of the residence. The apartment offers many other advantages to those who stay there, which is why it is with regret that everyone leave "Escale Incanto" and its exceptional view of the lake and mountains. Lovely Apartment with Amazing View

A great location with a stunning view. We used the pool daily at this great apartment. The apartment had everything you need, spotlessly clean with the owner on hand if anything was needed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic view above Lake Como in charming Sala Comacina Quaint apartment and largely quiet neighborhood, save for the construction cranes nearby.

Claudine was an amazing host. Despite challenging weather conditions transport difficulties and other unforeseen problems Claudine made herself available to make sure we were finally able to arrive at the property. The property was charming the view spectacular. Sala Comacina is a pretty and unspoilt area of Lake Como.

Excellent stay at Lago di Como

The apartment was really nice. We had everything we needed. Swimming pool was definitely really nice. We really appreciated that all the basics were present in the apartment including washing product for the wash machine. Owner explained everything and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend it for visiting the region.

Claudine was very responsive to all communications. The apartment was very clean and had nearly everything we needed. The view from the apartment is spectacular. The only downside is that it is not an easy place to find and the road to the apartment is very narrow. Once you have found it, all is well.

Great and very nice appartment. Amazing view on the lake. We received a great and very friendly introduction and support from Claudine (landlord) during our stay, incl. option for a daily breakfast delivery from a local bakery, which was much appreciated.

Very nice appartment, highly recommended

This is a very nice appartment to stay at lovely lake Como. The view is fantastic and the appartment is equiped with everything you might need. We loved to jump into the pool after a day of visiting. Claudine, the landlord, will do everything in order to helping you to have a good time.

A truly stunning location

Escale Incanto enjoys a fantastic position overlooking Lake Como, with a beautiful 180 degree panorama from the large balcony. The apartment is well appointed and spacious for a couple or young family (as we were), with great outside space and a lovely pool area. Sala Comacina is a pretty little village and is well placed to allow access to the beautiful lakeside towns nearby. Como and Milan are easily accessible, as are the regular ferries to other parts of the lake. A wonderful base from which to explore this spectacularly pretty area.

Very pleasant stay at Escale Incanto

We had a great stay at Escale Incanto. Claudine gave us a warm welcome and provided us with a lot of information about the village, the surrounding area etc. The apartment was very clean and cosy and had all the necessary equipment, also for our little boy . The view from the balcony was really magnificent!! The pool was a very nice extra and we enjoyed it very much. One small downside, it is not easy to get to the apartment with a buggy, since the road is very steep and there are a lot of stairs.

Fantastic views of Lake Como

Nice appartment with beautiful views. Claudine, the host, could not have been more helpful. She recommended a pharmacy and called ahead to speak to them in Italian for us. The apartment is very secure being gated and has its own garage. We liked Sala Comacina because it felt less touristy than some of the other towns on the lake but there are a lot of steps getting to and from the village! Thanks again to Claudine.

Beautiful Place

We enjoyed the spectacular view from our front balcony overlooking the Lake. Our hostess, Claudine, was very helpful, particularly getting us checked in and checked out and picked us up at the Bus Stop. Access is much easier if you have a car, as garage parking available. We came by train and bus. The only drawback is for people with any kind of mobility issues. The good news is the view is great, the bad news is that there are a lot of steps either going down to the village or up to the access road. But, if you are in good shape and have no mobility issues, it is a great choice.

Amazing views and local experience

We had an amazing stay! Our host was very helpful and gave us a personal tour and detailed explanation of the property at check in. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! I enjoyed having meals out there or a glass of wine. We had a car so could easily explore the area. However there are steep and narrow roads so beware if not confident driving or if you plan on walking on foot as there are not standard sidewalks and some spots you have to walk on narrow roads. We got use to this and also learned that we could take “the greenway” path which was safer but not lit at night. Pool was also very continent as swimming in lake como in area not ideal. We found the apartment older but well maintained and it had all conveniences present and was clean - we were able to use cleaning supplies provided to make sure it was clean to our standards which we didn’t mind. We would love to stay again in the future!

Beautiful Views and Lovely Apartment

The apartment is very nice with a gorgeous view of Lake Como. You can sit on the balcony and watch the boats on the lake with your morning coffee. You can watch the lights come on, as the sun sets, of the city across the lake, with a glass of wine. You can also see some of the magical events at the famous Villa Balbianello. The apartment is situated on a hill, so be prepared to hike some steps either up or down. I recommend renting a car in Como to make easier to travel around the lake. We used Aziz and his taxi service to travel around and he was excellent (+39 375 557 3459). Claudine Henry was an excellent host. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment, and how everything worked. It has all the necessary amenities. She also showed us where and how to get to all the places that we were interested in seeing. We would highly recommend this apartment in Sala Comincina!

Sehr schöne Wohnung, toller Blick vom Balkon über den See und zum Pool. Der Weg zur Anlage ist sehr steil und die Straßen sind sehr eng. Der Pool ist toll und gepflegt, leider war er bei unserem Aufenthalt wegen Wartungsarbeiten zwei Tage nicht benutzbar. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.

La vue sur le lac et les montagnes, à partir d'"Escale Incanto" enchante tous les locataires car c'est une vue unique . Je serais ravie de vous accueillir à nouveau tous les trois. Synes godt om: Rengøring, indtjekning, kommunikation, annoncens rigtighed
Det er et rigtigt dejligt sted med skøn udsigt over Comosøen. Til lejligheden var tilknyttet en udmærket poolfacilitet.Der var fin parkeringsplads ved bebyggelsen. Adkomstfaciliterne kan være udfordrende såfremt man er gangbesværet.
