Efter timer i surfen vender vacationers fra havet via den private strand gangbro og derefter dykker ind i oceanfront swimmingpoolen eller et sæsonopvarmet spa. Pool er opvarmet 1. marts - 30. april og 1. oktober - 30. november. Småbørn har en separat wading pool. Shorewood er en fem-etagers elevator bygning beliggende i South Forest Beach. Blandt de faciliteter, der tilbydes i hele Hilton Head Island, er Shorewood to blokke fra Coligny Beach Market, et malerisk downtownområde, der tilbyder gæsterne et bredt udvalg af restauranter, indkøbscentre og underholdning for alle aldre. Unit was exactly as pictured, clean and nicely furnished No surprises. View was enjoyable. The weather didn’t cooperate where we could enjoy patio however we’re able to enjoy the view from inside

Beautiful, spacious condo with gorgeous views and a very short, easy walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub area were also very nice. This location is close to Coligny and an easy drive to many restaurant options. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great week in the condo. Perfect location --close to the beach and restaurants. The interior is starting to show some wear and needs a little updating/refreshing.

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing

The condo was very beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only issue that I had was that the beds were a bit worn.. Great location near everything.

Beautiful room, perfect view of the beach AND the pool, clean, close to Coligny, excellent communication, easy check-in/out! This corner unit overlooking the beautiful pool was absolutely perfect!!!!

Great location, twin beds need replaced

We have stayed at Shorewood for 20 years. First time staying in 201. Location is great. The only complaint is the twin mattresses. They are terrible and need to be replaced. They are okay for small children but not for teenager or adults. I will continue to stay at Shorewood but I will not rent 201 again if the twin beds/mattresses are not replaced.

Overall we were happy with the condo but it did need some TLC. It needed a deep clean, floors and area rugs were dirty. It would have helped if there was a broom or vacuum available as well. The staff were amazing with any issues or concerns we had, answered/fixed immediately.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and location were excellent. But we did encounter a few issues. The air conditioning did not work well in 2 was hot & muggy. Fans helped but not great for sleeping. They checked it out and said the unit was new. The dryer was broken and ripped 2 items of clothing. The managers did replace it the next day. There was a very strong "sulfur" smell in the washing machine water and the master bathroom. Had to "live" with it. Very little storage for beach items and bathroom items. The unit is beautiful, we loved the location and the pool. The dining/living area was beautiful and spacious. Not sure we will book this unit again mostly because of the A/C problems.

The owners of this property (Shorewood 201) purchased a brand new upgraded A/C System (Outdoor compressor and indoor air handler) in May of 2019. We have reached out to the A/C company that installed the system to determine if there is an issue that needs to be addressed and (if so) what needs to be done. After the guest reported the issue with the dryer - the owners gave us permission to replace it immediately and also decided to replace the washing machine for safe measure. Both were installed in the condo within 24 hours of the problem being reported. The water heater in this unit was replaced less than a year ago. To address the sulfur smell reported - we reached out to the plumber that installed it to flush the heater, sanitize it and also treat the lines. This service was performed on 8/21/19 which was the first open date since May. It is a beautiful condo with a great view of the ocean and pool. We hope you will come back and stay with us at Shorewood 201.

Updating and cleanliness.

This is the third year we have stayed at Shorewood. Did not like the fact we had to stop by rental office to pick up parking passes and swim bands. They have always been in our room before. The email I received said we could call, email or come by office to get code. That apparently didn’t matter because no parking pass or swim bands. The unit itself had been updated, but not enough for what they charged per week. I was expecting a lot more. All the bathrooms were nicely updated. The mattresses needed to be replaced. The refrigerator seal did not close properly. Had to give it an extra shove to get it to completely close. Dryer needed to be replaced. It took towels almost 3 hours to dry. Ridiculous! Speaking of towels, only 1 washcloth per person? So we had to wash frequently and then took forever to dry. Light over stove did not work. So many little things that needed attention. Could have been really nice with a little attention. The unit was not as clean as I would have expected. Dust bunnies in closets and various other places. Needs a deep cleaning. I don’t like giving bad reviews but I also appreciate being honest and letting others know what to expect.

We do not feel that this review represents Shorewood 201 accurately. Firstly, this guest read their email wrong. In no place does any of our rental correspondence say that you can call or email for the door and gate codes. We require every guest to check-in at our office prior to the unit. This is mainly because we are unable to leave pool passes and car passes in the units because both of them change colors weekly and unfortunately, we do not have the staff to replace every band and car pass in each unit each week. We also do not agree with the comments about the updating and mattresses. The mattresses in 201 have all been replaced recently, with the twin beds being the most recent (late 2022) and the owner diligently updates the condo as needed. We will make sure to take a look at the seal on the fridge and clean out the dryer vent to make it operate properly. However, for future guests consideration, Seashore Vacations does have on-site maintenance that is available during office hours Monday-Saturday for issues to be reported and resolved while guests are still in house. We are disappointed that minor issues affected this guests stay in a negative way, however we do not believe that this review accurately depicts the accommodations found at Shorewood 201.

The refrig door does not close completely and the repair man was in to work on the ice maker but we still had no ice. We also would have liked to have a broom to sweep up the floors and the patio.

It was a very spacious 3 bedroom condo that was beautifully decorated in an amazing location.The downside was the smell of the condo. It was VERY musty and we couldn’t clear it out. For that reason, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. I didn’t get a response from the office when asking for help with it. Also, there was no shower curtain in one of the bathrooms, we had to use the other bathrooms for showers.
