Sang i syd er en sød oase på Tyrkiet Creek (ikke en fiskebæk). Med enden af vejen privatliv og et firepit område lige ved vandet. South of South er en Sliding Rock Cabin, der tilbyder en afskærmet veranda, gårdhave og dæk med et stort varmt karbad, Gas Grill, creekside firepit og FENCED yard off af verandaen. Du vil måske slappe af dagen i hængekøjen, stege s'mores i creekside firepit, måske vandre Ellijay og Blue Ridges bjergrige stier, så om aftenen suge i det store boblebad eller hygge dig ved siden af pejsen og se en gammel film på din store skærm SmartTV, måske sove sent på King Size seng i loftet.

The cabin is on a gravel dead end road, very private. Nice screened in porch overlooking the creek. Beds were comfortable.

Kind of hard to find but that's what you want in a secluded cabin in the woods. Fortunately the directions provided were excellent.The only improvement I could make would be to screen in the hot-tub. We didn't have time to use it, but if it was screened it might have tempted us more.Great for a couple, or two couples that are very close.

Spring vacation

Songs of the South is really easy to find and can get there with any type of vehicle. We will be back in the fall.

Our two Labrador retrievers, Sunshine and Sally, really enjoyed the clear cold mountain creek in the backyard. Easy to find, good roads with very little traffic, excellent location. Tried fishing with no luck, but didn’t expect much, even though it could support trout. Made visits to numerous vineyards and Reese’s Cider House, all within short driving distance.

Cozy cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with our stay at Song of the South. There were a few things that could have made it better. The lighting in the kitchen was still not good. We struggled trying to prepare meals. It would help if you could remove the TV cabin and put something smaller there or hang it on the wall. It would have been nice to have the screen porch clean from spider webs and leaves. Same for all around the outside of the house. I had to take the broom and sweep as much as I could. I would have brought my leaf blower if I had known. I understand you are in a low terrine that doesn't help. Otherwise we enjoyed the firepit area and hot tub.

Birthday getaway

My wife 2 dogs and myself had a great time at the cabin in the mountains. The creek in the back was awesome to sit by while enjoying a fire. I will definitely return in the future.

I thought the spiderwebs on the screened in porch could have been less, but it wasn't something that deterred us from having a bad stay. We loved it and this was our favorite so far!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable beds. The kitchen was adequately stocked. I loved that the creek was so close that you can hear it to put you to sleep at night. Very private. The roads were easy to access. I would have liked brighter light bulbs in the cabin because it was hard to see inside. Make sure you go to the lockbox on the front door porch not on the side of the house! We enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thanks you!

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I and our 2 aussiedoodles really enjoyed our stay at Song of the South.. the dogs loved playing in the creek and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch.. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable.. we were a little disappointed on our first night.. we were planning to grill hamburgers on the gas grill but the starter button was missing and we didn’t have a way to light the grill.. other than that, we had an amazing time.

A slice of heaven

Everything was as described and the creek in the back is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Sliding Rock is truly dog friendly as we were able to bring our four dogs who loved the fenced yard and screened in patio. The stairs even had backing to the steps preventing our smaller dogs from falling had they slipped between steps. We all had the most restful nights sleep with the sound of the creek flowing in the background. We definitely plan on returning to Ellijay in the near future and Sliding Rock will be our first choice for cabin rentals.

Relaxing weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect for a quiet weekend for my husband, pups, and me. Listening to the creek from the screened porch and drinking coffee was a great way to start the day. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the cabin and were able to find everything we needed to prepare it. The property was clean and comfortable. If we return to this area we will come back to this cabin.
