Great Dog friendly option

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There aren’t a lot of options for dog friendly stays on the island, but this was great with a fully fenced in back yard. You are across the street from the water and the kitchen has everything you need.

Clean, Quiet and Well Stocked with Great Customer Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made a booking error and arrived on the wrong date. We made contact with San Juan Property Management, who worked with us after hours to find a place. We had to find a hotel the first night, but they took pity on us and found us this wonderful place for the next 2 nights, and they even allowed us to check in early. We had coolers full of food, so this was very much appreciated. The home was lovely and well stocked. It even had a fenced in back yard for our two small dogs. Thanks again, San Juan Property Management!

Quiet getaway on San Juan

The house is immaculate and very homey. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main roads. We loved the big kitchen and the laundry, as well as the living room with big windows.

Perfect for our 5 lady long weekend getaway. The property is lovely and well maintained. The home is comfortable and very well stocked with everything needed to enjoy home away from home. All 5 of us felt the same way and would return for a stay in the future.

The property was amazing. The accommodations were excellent, and the only thing that I would give critique on is the Landscaper was there for the entire day and because we did bring our dog it made it a little crazy. We had invited friends who are staying down at Roche Harbour to hang out for the afternoon and it was nice because there was plenty of seating and servingware. Having a little Alexa dot was a nice touch. We will definitely return again.

Magical trip to San Juan island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house on San Juan island met our family's needs so well. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and the view of the water across the road. The one thing I did not enjoy was the lack of room darkening shades or curtins in the bedrooms. I was unable to sleep past 6am because of the light coming through the large windows.

It sounds like this lovely home was the perfect base for your San Juan Island adventure! We want to note for future guests, a few updates have been provided at this home, and that includes the installation of blackout curtains in the bedrooms. While sunrises on San Juan Island are gorgeous, guests looking for a little extra sleep on their vacation will surely enjoy this new amenity.

Very clean. Very well equiped kutchen. Nice table space for dinners with family. Nice view of the sound. Setting is lovely. There are alot of short levels and seniors need to watch their step. We loved the place, just a little disappointed that the fox didn't visit us...but the deer were there.

Splendid, comfortable oasis

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very much enjoyed this luxurious and inviting home in a picturesque community near Roche Harbor. House was private, spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked for an excellent stay. High-quality throughout, from the furniture to the beds to the kitchen. Bright fenced yard with a lovely patio, table, and BBQ let us enjoy the nice weather.Only note is on the bedrooms - while there's plenty of common space, this home would be slightly tight for 2 couples as the second bedroom is on the smaller side.

Still a wonderful place!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our fourth stay at Neil Bay Hideaway. We love the location and this house. It is always in good condition and well equipped. A very nice place to relax. The only drawback was the heat. Besides the ceiling fan in the living room, a small fan in each bedroom would have been nice!

Really close to Roche Harbor and beautiful yard with daily visits from deer. View across the way. A lot of open living space for a small family. We got in late and there is a statue on the front porch so we thought someone was home. (Note to future guests). Overall a great stay and would stay again. The only negative is that they asked us to start laundry and dishwasher and take out trash. If I didn't have to get up at 6am to catch the ferry, it wouldn't have been a big deal. But having to wake up early to do these things was a drag.

Mixed review

I thought the house was beautiful and was beautifully appointed. I thought the value was not really appropriate.. I felt like it was too expensive. I also thought there was access to water that was closer. It was at least a 10 to 15 minute walk for any access to the waterfront. I also felt like a 4 o’clock check-in and 10 o’clock check out is not within the norm. Typically I can get a 3 o’clock check in at 11 or 12 o’clock check out

We are so glad you enjoyed this lovely home and the thoughtful touches. The listing states does state it is a short walk to the beach and other amenities, and we’re sorry if that detail was missed prior to booking. Our check in and out times are designed so cleaning staff have plenty of time to thoroughly clean and present a beautiful home to our guests.

Peaceful Country Stay/Awesome for dog owners

This was our first time to the San Juan Islands. The house is in the country and we saw plenty of deer. It is away from all the tourist action. This home is well prepared for dogs with a back entry from fenced in yard. Plenty of dog towels provided. The house had everything we needed. Gas grill was available for use, which we did. The house was clean and very welcoming. The owner suite had very high king size bed, we really appreciated the step stools on both sides. The bunk area in rec room worked for us but I could see with some children it maybe difficult as it is open to entire house. The bathrooms had no blinds which is fine as it faces wooded back yard however the lawn people came and some of us had to wait until they left to shower. They were longer than expected as they broke a patio glass door. We called property management and they handled it promptly. Property management was very professional and helpful prior to our stay and during. Would definitely book through them again. We had a wonderful vacation!!!

House was great trip could have been better.

Lovely house, well equipped, very modern and clean. Unfortunately, when booked the plan was to have five adults and a small dog. One of the adults got covid and had to bail out. The couple with the dog had travel issues and couldn't make it, leaving just my wife and I. All of that was bad enough then on our second day there my wife had a misstep (be careful of the step leading into the game room just inside the main entrance), she badly sprained her ankle such that walking was painful and difficult. She also strained some interstitial ribs muscle catching herself from the subsequent fall. Icing, taping, ibuprofen helped, but our plans to further explore the island were dashed. Rather than hanging around we figured convalescing and care for the ankle and rib muscles could be better handled at home, we were able to switch our ferry sailing day and departed a day early. Rather than three nights we were only there two nights. So a house large enough to comfortably accommodate six people only has two of us and our three night stay was truncated to just two night. In the end no matter how nice the house was (and it was very nice indeed) the trip was pretty much a bust.
