Great location on the island. Fun to watch the wildlife, then golfers playing through. Beds, pillows and blankets were very comfortable. All of the kitchen appliances and dishes were very nice. Plenty of space for the two of us, we'll certainly go back!

We have stayed in this cottage several times in recent years, always in August. It's a great little cottage which, because of being on the golf course, feels like you're a little bit out in the country. Yet you're just 5 minutes from La Pointe. Looking forward to staying in the cottage again next year! p.s. Pro tip, enjoy a walk or swim at the Town Park on Big Bay followed by Happy Hour at Tom's!

Nice property if you bring a car to the island. Nice perk with the canoe available to use at the local park. Place had most of the supplies you would need. Tissues were limited and no shampoo that I saw. Generally peaceful secluded location other than the neighbor lady being loud on the phone. But would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Madeline Island.

June Weekend Away

A wonderful stay! A little far to be walkable to downtown LaPointe but a very easy drive. Loved the view from the cottage and how comfortable we felt. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

Excellent home with everything we needed for our stay. The deck was a great place to relax under the shade of trees. The location was perfect, quiet, and still walking distance to village center.

The property was great!! We loved the little light house connected to it. What an interesting place. We would have loved to get to the canoe that was offered but were not able to. I'm not sure if it was commented on in the description but it would be a nice perk to mention. We also loved that there was a guitar there! The sauna was a nice touch as well. The only upgrade comment I would make would be to buy some new stove burner trays. We were unable to clean them and a few had rusted through. Other than that we enjoyed our time there on the golf course and it was also close to town. Thank you Ron.

Good place to stay on Madelaine Island. The cottage would be GREAT with a good cleaning. We could tell that it has been long time since a good cleaning of the place has been completed. Initially the place seemed clean but has you start looking around there are cobwebs and dust that haven’t been addressed for quite some time. This place has the potential to be an awesome rental with a little attention. We still very much enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed here in August for several years. It's a great spot! It's quiet and you can enjoy nice views of the golf course, but also very convenient to the town, marina, Joni's Beach etc. It was a little too warm and humid this time, but the AC in the living room and ceiling fans made it comfortable for sleeping. We'll be back!

Nice place in a great location

We had a great time at the cottage. The location on the golf course and just a short bike ride outside of town was perfect. Lots of nice touches like a large deck, 2-story observation tower and cable TV. The place was clean enough but not spotless and could use some additional kitchen supplies and onsite laundry. All in all, a nice place that we would stay at again.

Perfect family rental

We already want to go back! Everything about this cute cottage was great, the location (close enough to "town" but far enough out to not feel crowded), the relaxed feel inside and the extras that made the stay enjoyable and easy. We had access to a canoe and a sauna. The beds and bedding were comfortable. With small children this place was perfect, we had space to roam but it still had a neighborhood feel.

Tower cottage on the golf course

We have stayed multiple times in this cute cottage. It’s great for us (mom, dad, adult daughter). We especially like how it feels like it’s out in the woods but it’s also walking distance to LaPointe! Also there’s plenty of shade & nice golf course views.

We very much enjoyed staying at this cottage on Madeline Island. The rooms and the kitchen were well maintained and the space was the perfect size for our family. We used the sauna regularly and took the canoe out to the Lagoon every day we were there. The cottage is very close to La Pointe and so we were able to catch the sunset at the Inn at Madeline Island one night and do take out pizza and ice cream the other night. The property manager is very accessible and just really made the whole experience top notch.

Loved our stay on the island!

We throughly enjoyed our stay on Madeline Island! The cottage was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed! It is located on a quiet dead end road, yet was only a short few minute drive to town. The 2 story gazebo was such a hit with our 5 year old, and the view of the 5th green of the golf course made it even more of a unique experience! Loved that the cottage had a sauna and a jet tub to relax at the end of the night! It was also not far from the state and town park, about a 10 minute drive or so. I give this property 5 stars, it was the perfect experience!
