The home was very clean and spacious. It had quite a few amenities, and a lot of dishes. We found it useful to have the fridge underneath the deck too. We did find the couch to be very uncomfortable as you would sink in the middle. I also would have liked the grass to have been cut around the pool area. It was very high when we arrived. It was our first time in Folly Field Beach and we enjoyed the area. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend the home.

Perfect House!

Great House for Family Vacation

We stayed here with the whole family and it was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Pool area was great. Awesome location, walkable to beach. Very clean.

Awesome house!

Clean, spacious, and had all the amenities. The kids loved the pool and the close proximity to the beach. Parents loved all the seating areas, especially the outdoor area. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a rather unfortunate time with this property. We were notified the day of our check in that our refrigerator was running a little hot. When we showed up the fridge was not functioning at all. We had already bought food and put it in the fridge without knowing if it was fixed or not because of the lack of communication from the property manger. We lost money on groceries that went bad as well as the money we needed to spend to eat out instead of making meals at the house. Overall, I understand that things happen. No one plans for a fridge to break. However, when it happens, and you provide a customer service oriented product, you have to communicate effectively so people can plan accordingly. This company did not do that. In fact we were consistently sent automated messages about our stay instead of the management company reaching out to check on our stay, provide updates, etc
 most updates I received were because I continued to ask about the status. If the owner reads this (or if the PM is the owner), I want to encourage you to prioritize the customer experience. We won’t come back and it’s not because it’s a bad house, it’s because we didn’t feel valued as a customer.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home and pool, but not good got kids or pets. No vacuum cleaner, broom with no dust pan, no basic cleaning supplies. Old unsecured refrigerator under house, outdoor shower locked, black flakes from roof(?) in pool. No cupboards available for food storage as all full of small appliances and cookware. Very disappointing accommodation.

Great location, Excellent for families!

Loved our stay here - easy walk to the beach, well equipped house and plenty of room for our family and all of the Grandparents. The outdoor table and the pool were excellent so we could continue to enjoy the outdoors when we needed a break from the beach. The management team was very responsive and helpful.

Great Location but overpriced

The managing company was great. The perks associated with the property were outstanding, and the location was amazing. We were disappointed in the difference between the photos on the website and the actual property. The property was clean, but lacked the finishes and attention to detail that would be commensurate with the price that we paid.

Plenty of space

Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a very good rental with enough room for our family of 10. The pool was large enough for everyone to enjoy. Just a short walk to the Folly Field beach access boardwalk. It was like staying in a neighborhood instead of a crowded tourist area. Short drive to restaurants and shops. The rental company and owner were responsive to the minor issues we experienced. Lots of seating for meals and large enough kitchen to prep.

2 star place for 4 star price

If you want a 2 star place then this is for you. The pictures look nice but they are very deceptive. They place feels like it was renovated by a few guys who gave a the owners a sweet deal, which included leaving gaps in the floor openings in the wall/ceiling where there are fans or outlets. It just felt cheaply done. It was dusty and given a minimal clean. The blinds were dusty and some were broken and there were trunks in the bunk bed room that were so dirty and dusty we had to move them out of the house during our stay and even with that one of the kids had an asthma attack in the middle of the night from the dust. There were drips on the kitchen cabinets and marks on the walls on the front porch from carpenter bees. When I picked up the throw pillows in one of the bedrooms sand poured out everywhere. All the mattresses except for the master were horrible. There wasn’t even a single towel bar or hook in the master bath. I literally had no where to hang a towel to dry or while using the sink. The hvac was extremely loud in the upstairs bedrooms. The hallway through the upstairs was so low it felt like a cave. The pool heat was broken 1 day but no compensation was offered. And note the pool is at the front of the house and does NOT feel very private although the street doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic so that wasn’t a huge deal. The ground around the pool was all weeds and was not maintained well. The whole outside area especially under the house was very dirty. And the house could use a good pressure wash. I would not recommend staying there at the prices listed. We paid a lot/night maybe because it was spring break week. We thought we were getting a really nice place but it was pretty mediocre. If you want a 2 star place this is it, but if you want a really nice clean place, keep looking. Oh and there is a great view of the neighbors yard where you might catch someone taking a piss, so you could be in for a treat!

Great house, awesome pool, amazing location!

My husband, dogs, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was well-appointed with all the necessities and the pool was so much fun! The living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable and could use an update, but I have zero complaints about anything else at this house. The rental company was super proactive and responsive - very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this house (and already have!) to others looking for a great Hilton Head stay.

A great place for families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a great home for a week long family beach week. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and there was sufficient space to spread out if needed. Having the pool was a game changer for the kids, and the beach is a short 10 minute walk (max) from door to sand. We definitely recommend this house for a family of up to 12 people (no more than eight adults, plus a bunk room for four kids). NOTE: This is a great location if you're renting bikes - and we suggest doing so. The bike paths make lots of dining, shopping and entertainment very accessible. There are a few suggestions for the owners:1. This home would benefit from shower hooks, bars, etc. in the bathrooms. We really had no place to hang wet/used towels. Some hardware in the bathrooms would go a long way.2. Similarly, it would be nice to have towel hooks outside and/or coat hooks when you enter the house.

Home away from home

Enjoyed our stay. Getting a response from property managers was not good. My daughter forgot clothing in a couple of drawers. Phoned and left messages numerous times but never received any return calls.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this home is great. A five minute walk to the ocean. However the cleanliness of the home was not up to par. The duvets had stains on them and had not been washed between guests and there was a pee stain on one of the mattress covers that had clearly not been washed or taken care of. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and seemed very cheap. The kitchen was stocked well with nice big dishes to serve large meals and a variety of plastic dishes which were great for the kids. The dining area is large and accommodates a lot of people and worked out nicely for our family.We gathered in the living room a lot, but wished the furniture in their was more comfy as well. However it did the job.There were a large quantity of bugs outside that made the pool hard to fully enjoy because your couldn’t lay out without being bit or agitated.

Great Family Reunion Location

We had an amazing celebration of our parents 50th wedding anniversary! Great location close to the beach. Wonderful pool to hang out and relax together. The house was super comfy and great big kitchen to eat and cook in as well as a big table where we were able to play games all day. We even rented bikes and cruised all around... book and go now!

A swamp for a back yard

The Inside was clean, outside had Bees boring holes all in the front deck ,the back deck covered in black mold. Outside needs a good pressure washing and maintenance .

Excellent property with one hiccup

This property is excellent! We were looking for a place to comfortably accommodate 4 families and this property was perfect with the layout. The kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room where we didn’t feel on top of one another. My only issue is the property advertises a crib- which was a huge seller for us since we had an infant with us. The crib needs to be replaced it’s out of code like 10+ years old and I had to try to zip tie parts of it to secure it and try to make it so it wouldn’t come loose! Parents beware! The property needs to either purchase an up to date crib or throw out the one there and not advertise one. It’s hard to tell in the pictures and wish we would of just brought our travel crib. We ended up getting creative with our infant sleeping arrangements in order to have a safe sleeping space. Other than that piece of feedback- overall the property was excellent! Pool was nice and the proximity to the beach was perfect especially with littles! We will definitely keep this property in mind for the future!

Arrived to the house to find all of the outdoor areas covered in dirt and the pool full of dirt and yellow. Sent an email to the property management company since it was after hours and never received a response. Spent the first hour of my vacation cleaning up the furniture outside. Yard is not fenced in, it is rigged with wire in the corners and a piece of board across one side of the back. There is a green swamp running thru the backyard. House Nextdoor was under-construction as well as one across the street. House has potential but is not worth the price they are asking. Bedspreads had stains, when I took the sheets off of one bed there was a big yellow stain on the mattress pad.
