Our family stayed to celebrate a big birthday and spend time in a beautiful location. Fantastic views. Quiet enough and not too far from town. Plenty of space in the house. Comfortable beds. Saw beautiful weather patterns and fox - plenty of birds.

Our family had an amazing time near Crested Butte, and this home served us very well. The inside of the house was clean and orderly. We appreciated the main floor laundry room and the kitchen setup. Being just a few minutes outside of Crested Butte and only 20 minutes or so from Gunnison was very convenient.The most impressive part of this house is the view. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and enjoying the picturesque scenery of beautiful flowers and stunning mountains. It was quiet and peaceful in the summer and the neighbors we did talk to were very kind. The view and setting alone make this home a winner.There were a few minor aspects of this home that could use some TLC to make it even better. The back door doesn’t quite open and shut right, the deck has some noticeable flex when you walk on it, and there appears to have been a nice little patio area on the lower level, but it has become overgrown and is not currently very usable. But overall, these were minor issues in what was otherwise a great rental. We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Nice house with great view

The house is very nice & comfortable and well stocked. We stayed with another couple and we each had plenty of privacy. Huge couch for everyone to watch TV, great deck with grill and outdoor table. I would definitely stay there again.

The house is very nice and clean. We found most things we needed except for Kleenex, aluminum foil and more soap but otherwise it was perfect. Beautiful views and nice deck to end our day on. We loved it!

Great for family stay

This house is an excellent choice for exploring beautiful Crested Butte. The property was clean, spacious, fully stocked, and with easy access to highway 135. Will be back!

Fabulous fall adventure

The Cascadilla House was very comfortable and clean! The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the fall colors in view from the house. We hope to visit again!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the house! My apologies due to Covid we are struggling with getting tp and paper towels. We do stock what we advertise though and didn't short you from there. Ideally we'll get to a point where there isn't a run on paper products where we can stock more substantially. For those coming out, we stock 2 rolls of tp per bathroom and 1 paper towel for your stay

Family vacation Crested Butte

My family of 5 enjoyed our stay in crested Butte. We played games, went on bike rides, hiked Mount Emmons , attended the outdoor mass, ate at secret pizza, went to the farmers market, and had dinner on the back porch. Great trip!!!

Great property, comfortable and quiet.

Very nice property that was well equipped. The only complaint is very slow internet connection and very limited cell coverage (both AT&T and Verizon).

Glad to hear that you found the house well equipped for your stay! In regard to the cell service you are right. We try to advertise accordingly with that. Verizon has been struggling in our area the last few weeks while they build a new tower. Once that is installed I think that service will be a bit better. In regard to the internet its at the end of the line for the provider. Again we advertise that its competent but not city-fast.

Cascadilla Camp for EPIC hiking

You are not going to find a better location in the Created Butte. Location allowed for easy access to great hiking while still providing the enjoyment of local flavor of the mountain town. I’d recommend to any and all, whether hiking, biking, or skiing, it is a A+ location. Managing staff was responsive and extremely informative making the stay stress free. Thank you.

Great access to mountain bike trails.

Arrived just after check in and everything was clean and orderly. Expectations regarding our stay and check out were clear and expected. Our visit was all about checking off some mountain bike rides and hanging out afterwards. Grateful for the kitchen utensils, etc. and the propane grill. It was also nice to have some space in the garage to store our bikes. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

Clean, convenient rental

House was spotless, great views, convenient to Crested Butte, Almont, Gunnison, Blue Mesa. The only thing I would suggest is different sheets in the master bedroom and extra blankets for beds at night. Sheets were linen and had a rough texture. Overall a great rental with everything you would need.

Comfortable Home

We enjoyed our time at the Cascadilla house in CB South. We frequent the CB / Gunnison area once a year and try different VRBOs. This one was very nice. Spacious, even though we did not use the basement level. Very comfortable with great views. We even heard elk bugling at night. The shower has great water pressure. Only complaint was the coffee pot was slow and coffee was not hot. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness, and spaciousness.

Stunning views

View from the deck is fantastic. Saw deer next to the house in the evening several times. Has restaurants, coffee shop, liquor store just down the street and good hiking within a few miles. Well stocked kitchen. Cons were the shower heads were not the best. Gets warm in the master bedroom during the day. Lots of creaking and popping noises like the house is settling. All in all a great property in a great location. I'd go back again.

Summer escape to Crested Butte

There were 6 women. We enjoyed our stay very much. Such a quiet neighborhood. Only criticism was the parking situation. Had we brought three cars we would have been uncomfortably crowded. The turn into the garage was too tight and so did not use. It would have been nice to have more spices in the kitchen and ice cubes ready to dispense in the freezer. Otherwise, very nice property.

Review

House was very nice with no complaints at all. Only few items. I believe it made mention of having cable tv, it did not. It had Netflix and Apple TV but it was logged into owners log ins so seemed odd. Suggestion to add some blinds in master bedroom as got very bright soon as sun came up.

Fabulous House

The house was huge, bigger than we expected. And though our young granddaughters did not stay overnight, they visited and the home had an abundance of toys and books for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen was super well-equipped. Washer and dryer easily accessible on the first floor. The master bathroom was lovely, large Jacuzzi tub and plush towels. The mountain views were spectacular. The only downside to the master bedroom was the row of windows had no shades or curtains. It was bright in there with the full moon. Only other issue was the driveway, just a little tricky getting in and out. Overall our experience was wonderful.
