Loved this house and the carriage house. Wonderful old Florida charm with modern conveniences. Cannot beat the view. So beautiful and peaceful.

The location is truly special and the house itself is just as shown, very comfortable for a good-sized family visit. We enjoyed every minute.

Fantastic stay

The place was great! We had a group of 10 and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed the house, the lawn and, of course, the beach. We were looking for a location far away from the busy, commercialized beach areas and this place was quiet and relaxing.

Felt like home

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this beautiful home. We loved the family friendly feel of the home and the beach was nice and quiet. Perfect for two small children to play.

Best Hidden Gem!!

My family & I stayed here for a week & we had the best time!! The neighbors were very friendly, the weather was beautiful, the view is not like any other! House was perfect size for our family with littles! One of my best stays in this area in awhile!!!!

Relaxing week

The house and the beach were top notch! Our family of 9 enjoyed our time at St.Teresa. Relaxing and not crowded like Destin! We will be back!

Old Florida

We stayed at St. Teresa for a family wedding. Not only is the house a wonderful place to vacation, but it offers a unique Florida experience. If you want to know what the Sunshine State looked like before condos and strip malls, this is the place to be! It’s the perfect location for a relaxed, family-friendly vacation.

We had an amazing family experience! The home is clean, comfortable and cozy in a magnificent coastal setting. The views are amazing through tall Longleaf pines across to the tip of Alligator Point and out into the Gulf of America. The back lawn and boardwalks down to the water are inviting and offer ample places for play with kids or relaxation. We would highly recommend this home for anyone who wants an awesome old Florida coastal experience.

This is our second time staying here, and my grown children don’t want to go anywhere else! I can’t say enough positive - there’s plenty of space to spread out, but plenty of space to be together. The kitchen is fully functional with enough cookware to prepare all meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect with comfortable mattresses and bedding. And the beach. . . Well, it speaks for itself. Truly old world Florida at its finest - perfect to allow kids to play all day at the beach without worry of being tossed about by big waves! We love it here and look forward to many more spring and fall break stays in the future!

Breath Taking!

We had such a great time! The house is beautiful! The beds were comfy! The view was so wonderful. The beach was very private and the overall stay was very relaxing and quiet. it was just what we needed. We had a great time and Can't wait to come back.

FSU Graduation celebration

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful home with the very best view of the gulf! Nice walk way to the beach (Adirondack chairs provided). Well appointed kitchen for cooks. Beds were super comfortable. Gorgeous place and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Relaxing Getaway

We rented this property for a guys’ weekend of fishing, golfing, and beaching and we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The home and the amenities are spectacular, with a private beach that offers an incredible view of the Gulf. Quiet area with natural beauty all-around. Would recommend 10/10

Absolutely beautiful!!

The property and houses (yes plural) were ideal for our family of 11. The youngest is 18 and all the "younger" ones stayed at the back house. Us old folks stayed in the main house. Beautiful home with the bay right out the back door! The homeowner was wonderful and very communicative with us. We LOVED it!

An absolute gem

The house was beautiful and very accommodating for a large group. The property was amazing. The backyard was huge, with lots of grass space and big shade trees — leading to two decks that overlooked the beach. Low tide was the best time to enjoy the water and all that St. T has to offer. Our group had kids of all ages and this property allowed them to have fun, be safe, and escape the sun, while continuing to enjoy the outdoors! The host didn’t seem overly comfortable with our large group, but if she’ll allow it, we’ll be back! ;)

First ever family trip

I’m not sure there are words to describe this trip! The house was more than accommodating and the location for our large group that came. From the great grandma to the great grandkids everyone was thrilled. We explored the sea animals, swam in the ocean even visited with the amazing neighbors. We have been many places in Florida and never have found the perfect spot to bring everyone that fit as perfectly as this place. The ability to leave our sun tents and chairs up all week for everyone was awesome, we had shrimp boils, caught fish, bbq everything we needed was there. The host checked in with us to make sure we were doing ok and didn’t need anything. Amazing, breathtaking and the best memories I think we have ever had as a family. If you are looking for the perfect secluded spot to enjoy true time together this is the spot to come.

Our stay at the Henderson’s beach house was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean everything was. The layout of the home was perfect for our family—thoughtfully designed to encourage time together while still giving everyone space to relax and unwind.The kitchen was a dream to cook in—extremely well-equipped with everything we needed—and the large kitchen table and island made meals together easy and enjoyable. Every bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out when needed.Having two houses was a huge bonus, giving us a perfect balance of privacy and connection. One of our favorite spots was the upstairs porch—watching the sun rise over the water each morning was truly breathtaking.The beach itself was quiet, peaceful, and felt like our own little slice of paradise. With nothing to do but relax, enjoy each other’s company, and take in the beautiful, serene scenery, it was exactly the escape we were hoping for.We would return in a heartbeat—highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing, well-appointed, and memorable stay!

Perfect Family Getaway

The Henderson's House is the perfect getaway. The house is steps from the beach and is equipped with everything our family needed to make us comfortable on our weekend together. The house is immaculate, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the beds are comfortable. (Kitchen is well-stocked means: plenty of serving dishes, mixing bowls, huge pots, blender, wine glasses, .....there was nothing I needed that wasn't there.) When my high school aged daughter wanted a little space from her siblings, there was even an extra bed on the porch where she moved to have some time alone. There was another bed on the porch where my husband enjoyed taking naps. My family of 6 includes 1 high schooler, 2 college kids, and a young adult beginning her career. This house served all of our needs and allowed us to be together comfortably. The wi-fi in the house was strong, the kitchen table seats 10, there are 4 stools at the kitchen island. St Teresa is my favorite place on earth. I look forward to renting this house again!

Perfect home for multiple family’s. Kitchen is fully stocked. Large Play room in the back house for movies and kids to play. Amazing outdoor shower. The decks and view from the indoor rocking chairs is absolutely the best on the beach. The old Florida beach house vibe is clean and comfortable and elevated while feeling causal too. There are dvd players in all the rooms to play movies and the porches and decks allow for wonderful naps and relaxation. The home is next door to generations of neighbors and sweet families. We had the best time returning to a beach where we grew up with a family home. It felt like home. You can anchor your large or small boat out front. Multiple docks and lots of dogs and children on the beach. Heaven on earth. Great communication from the owners. We have 6 month to 68 years old and we all were comfortable.

Perfect home for a relaxing vacation

Our stay at the home was so relaxing and nice. We rented the main house. It honestly has everything you need. You arrive to a private yard with covered parking. It’s easy to unload directly into the house. The kitchen had everything we needed including two refrigerators and two dishwashers. The eat in dining room was perfect. The living area was very comfortable. Right off of it is the enclosed porch. We sat in rocking chairs and watched the ocean from this room The three bedrooms were roomy and had very comfortable beds. We closed off the bathroom downstairs to make it a private bath for the bedroom. Both bedrooms upstairs had their own bathrooms. The deck at the top of the stairs was wonderful to watch the ocean while drinking coffee each morning. Outside the house the two decks going towards ocean were fantastic and where we watched the sunset. On the beach we setup beach chairs and umbrellas. We left them there all week long which made it so easy to go sit on the beach at anytime. I only saw a few people on the beach each day. It’s so secluded and private. The fishing dock is a quick walk. We had fun fishing. We saw dolphins each day, white squirrels and a few manatees. It was such an enjoyable stay. Thank you to the family for sharing their home with us.
