Kiahuna Plantation delvis havudsigt, øverste etage, 4 min gang til strand + fitness + pool

Velkommen til det berømte Kiahuna Plantation Resort, der ligger på den meget ønskelige Poipu-strand. Kiahuna sidder på 35 hektar frodige, tropiske haver med orkideer og liljedam og kan prale af en ekspansiv græsplæne omgivet af palmer. Stranden ligger en kort gåtur fra vores enhed # 414 og er ideel til svømning og alle vandaktiviteter. Kiahuna er det eneste feriested med komplet ejerlejlighed i Poipu ......... det er den bedste placering i det bedste vejrområde i Kauai. Talrige guidebøger, Rejsekanalen, Conde Nast osv. Vurderer Poipu blandt de bedste stranddestinationer over hele verden.

Vores Condo er på øverste etage, så siddende på Lanai kan du lounge i fuld privatliv (ingen kan gå foran dig) og overse trætoppene og delvis havudsigt. (Se foto). Herfra kan du nyde synet af blåt vand, solopgange og solnedgange ...... nyd kaffe eller cocktails med det stadigt skiftende panorama over Stillehavet lige foran dig.

Højt til loftet og brede glasskydedøre til Lanai bidrager til en åben, luftig fornemmelse. I Lonely Planet Guide hedder det, at 'condos i øverste etage er bedst ved Kiahuna'.

Denne lejlighed er et soveværelse (konge) plus udtrækssofa i stuen, højst 4 gæster. Komplet og nyrenoveret køkken, indgang til fliser. Fuld badekar, renoveret flisebad med separat forfængelighed. Bemærk, at der er trapper til øverste etage.

Lige på tværs af vejen finder du Athletic Club, tenniskompleks og swimmingpool - en tre minutters gang. Ikke alle ejerlejligheder er medlemmer af denne facilitet, men det er vi også, så vi kan tilbyde disse faciliteter til vores gæster.
Også på grunden - den velkendte restaurant Plantation Gardens. Og det yderst professionelle, elskværdige managementfirma, lige på stedet, udsteder dine nøgler og besvarer alle spørgsmål og hjælper med at gøre dit ophold til en glæde. De er tilgængelige for dig døgnet rundt. Der er gratis wi-fi, gratis parkering og grill til rådighed for gæsterne. Lejligheden har en DVD-afspiller og 2 fladskærms-tv.

Highlights of the property: great location, walkable to several local beaches, the bed was very comfortable and AC worked well, the beach amenities were nice to have, felt safe, great balcony viewsWe did find a cockroach in the bathroom, but they were spraying for pest prevention during our stay. One of the beach chairs and snorkel sets were broken. The host is very responsive and very friendly!

Great stay!

The property was exactly as described and in an excellent location. Susan was very attentive and proactive with communication regarding check in and provided helpful tips on dining options and shopping near the property. Though most of the place stayed cool with the A/C in the general area, it was tough to cool down the bedroom/bathroom -- but there was a nice ceiling fan in the bedroom. The roosters were a little loud at times, but there's nothing that can be done about that -- it's just part of the charm of being in Kauai. It was super nice to not have a list of chores to do upon check out as is normally the case with most VRBO's. Overall, it was a great stay and would strongly recommend!

Loved the location and amazing view!! Susan the owner was FANTASTIC!! She was so thoughtful and answered all questions I had about the condo. She also gave us great suggestions for places to go around the Plantation! Bed was super comfortable and the AC was fabulous!!

Home Away From Home

Our host made us feel very welcome! Our condominium was peaceful with a good view of the ocean. It was private and enjoyable.

Great Location and Great Amenities

We had a wonderful time at this condo. It was conveniently located to beaches and activities. The grounds were lovely and we really appreciated the grassy area and beautiful beach, with the “beach shack” to get fresh towels and rent equipment. It was also just a short stroll to Poipu Beadh. The condo was equipped with beach gear, but the snorkel gear could have been better maintained. The condo had AC which we used at night to block the rooster noise, but most of the time we didn’t need it because the air flow in the condo was incredible! The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have appreciated some basic spices and the like. It also could have been a bit cleaner, some of the dishes were dirty, probably from a prior guest jamming too many into the dishwasher. Overall, an excellent location. The hosts were very communicative and welcoming.

Amazing, our 4th stay clean comfortable with a spectacular view

The one bedroom unit we stayed 2 weeks in is fantastic, well equipped with all necessary cooking and beach equipment. The hosts are very nice. Kiahuna Plantation is very beautiful and the staff quite friendly, the fitness facility is awesome as is the pool. We love swimming and bogie boarding and sitting on the beach. Everything is top notch!

We had an amazing visit! The property was easy to find and centrally located. We walked to food and beaches in less than five minutes. The lanai was beautiful and the AC worked great. Parking was right at the unit and so convenient. We even were granted some extra time to check out and the owners checked on us to make sure all was well! Will definitely be back.

Great option for families visiting Kauai

Our family of four stayed here for a bit more than one week. We had been to Maui before, but with was our first time visiting Kauai. Poipu in general, and this condo in particular, were great! The condo is about a 5 - 10 minute walk to a couple different beaches: Poipu Beach Park and Kiahuna Beach. Both beaches are great. Overall we were super happy with our visit!

Beautiful and Clean Condo on Poipu Beach!

What can I say - this was an excellent location, central to everything on Kauai. The condo was exactly as advertised, spacious and very clean. Beautiful partial ocean view, with a short walk to pristine beaches. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Check in and check out were a breeze, and the hosts were very responsive to any questions. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

A wonderful top floor condo with everything we needed for relaxing at the beach…chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear. It has a well equipped kitchen for cooking with a bbq close by. Super comfy bed. We loved the pool area, an easy walk across the street. The grounds are immaculate with several sandy beaches just a short walk from the room. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon!

Beautiful Place & Comfortable Stay!

My husband and I had a renewing week in this thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable condo. We really appreciated that we could prepare our own meals, make smoothies in the blender and had access to beach supplies. One of the best features for us was the bed. Usually in vacation rentals we do not have the benefit of a comfortable bed but this is a real mattress and we were grateful for it! The place was very clean and simply and yet beautifully decorated. We felt very at home and did not want to leave!The condo is set back away from the more populated area and so was more private and quiet and yet the ocean views from the porch are stunning and it is still only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The location is close to shops and restaurants and also appreciated that the condominium community is very laid back and without a restaurant or bar it felt very relaxing and family friendly.We are looking forward to returning and would definitely stay in Susan and Jack's place again!

Kauai 2025

Enjoyed this property greatly. Beautiful setting and quiet. Enjoyed the grounds and barbecue grills greatly. Already plan to return/ The dinner gift certificate was a nice and surprising touch.

Great beach for swimming and snorkeling

Everything was great except the roosterswhich they can't control. Otherwise quiet and spacious. Nice balcony. It would have been nice to have some cooking oil on hand but really just a very minor thing. Excellent communication.

Great place to stay in Poipu!

Absolutely love the condo! Very walkable area beautiful beach and the athletic club is just a short walk away. The Marshalls were great hosts and it was a wonderful stay.

We are a retired couple living near San Francisco. We had been looking for the perfect place with a real island feel, and found Kauai to be far more tropical and picturesque than any of the other islands. . When we saw this condominium with a partial ocean view had come on the market, we bought it right away. We vacation here ourselves, several times per year, and take pride in keeping it attractive and comfortable. We are now seeing returning visitors, so we know we're providing a desirable vacation experience.

For your special vacation, a partial ocean view is a considerable plus! Sitting on the lanai, dining or relaxing, we wanted guests to see the ocean, not just a garden view.
And the top floor condos have high ceilings, allowing more ocean breeze and a greater feeling of spaciousness. Remodeled kitchen and bath, updated furnishings, and our constant attention to each guest’s enjoyment has given us 12 years of 4 and 5 star ratings. We’ve added AC to enhance guest comfort ( not all condos in this location have AC).

Partial ocean view! Top floor! Stroll to beach, pool, fitness, tennis, shops and restaurants. We have an on site, fully staffed front desk for check in and a dedicated maintenance staff at this resort. If you have any issues or questions, they will get addressed immediately. Plus, every guest will have my cell phone number, so getting questions or assistance is just a text away.
